  1. Hi!
    My EA/SS brute as got 40 and I have decided to take the Widow as patron mainly due to the ToHit debuff Gloom and Dark Obliteration grant. However, I'm not sure whether it is worth to get the Summon Night Widow power or not... What do you think, it is worth the power and the enhancement slots or may I get Energy Cloack instead?

    My Blaster would join...However I only have a lvl 14 troller who could be able to get it and I think that beig 14 he has already miss the chance. In any case, if you allow me to join Midnight Watcher would join your team. just tell me when and where we will meet.

    ill/rad Advice

    Well, concenring you build just a few points I would choose in a different way... Just two suggestions:
    Accelerate metabbolism is one of your must powers and one of the greatest buffs in game, but it starts to shine when you get at least dual origin rech enh. Otherwise it takes ages to recharge... On the other hand, Radiation Ifection is one of the best lvl 1 (lvl 2 in the case of trollers) in game and is fully useful from lvl 1 to 50...so I'd recommend you to switch AM with RI... And even if you want AM earlier than 12, you could delay hurdle and/or air supperiority. Do not get me wrong, AM is just amazing, but during the lower levels you will use it once every five fights while you would use radiation Infection on every singel fight (and it will keep you alive!).
    Finally, Flash... If we keep in mind that you alredy have Spectral Terror, Phantasm and Phantom Army plus Lindgering radiation, Radiation infection and Enervating field...If you have to use it you are already dead Frankly speaking,in my oppinion hasten is much more significant in oreder to get AM and PA up as often as possible.

  4. i've got both of them, i've health 3 slotted +0 SO and i found it very helpful as your health is fully recovered between battles with no need of resting (and loosing fury)... However, if you are facing a large number of foes it will not help you as much as Aid self.
    I also have aid self (not fully slotted yet, only 1 int red and 2 rechred), and although it is very useful, the interrupt thing is really a pain when you fihght foes like COT or SWATs that uses slow powers, or -fly, -jump or even DoT damage like flammethrowers...I mean powers that affect you for several seconds, as they will interrupt your Aid self time after time... Maybe this will be solved with a second int. red, but i do not think so...
  5. Thanks mate! Yes, i did the archmage missions, and the missions from lvl 25-30 secret contact at nerva, afterwards, i did the shadowly figures and the ex-vilian (the drak maverik, or somthing like that) missions and now i've reached 30 and got the new 2 contacts, so the problem is over

    List of rp SG's?

    Well, I have just registered as SG at Rogue isles (Union Server). Frankly I do not have any exeprince in creating a Super Group (so any advise will be highly appreciated) but I would like to take my chance to introduce it to you just in case anyone is interested (at present we are only 3 membres).
    The super group is named Slaves of the Widow which is the Ghost Widow' secret elite army of superpowered beings. They are so loyal to her that it is more a religious group than a mere SG.
    His Leader (who only receives order from the widow herself)is the tyrant Pater Damian, who calls himself the Bishop of the Widow's Army. His elite guards, the Zealots are formed by seven excepcionally powerfull warriors and the strongest among them, the technical horror known as the Cooper Golem, is the Zealot's Comander and the personal bodyguard of Pater Damian. Everey Zealot has his own group of confidents, advisors, servants and bodyguards, these members are known as monks and when one Zealot is imprisoned or is killed, the most powerfull of his monks takes his place among the Zealots.

    Well I hope someone will fine this group of his interest.

    However,unfortunatelly after checking the web you shown me i have discovered that the only 2 contacts for lvl 25-30 at sharkhead are intrduced by contacts that i do not have
    In any case, i've seen taht i need the lorekeeper barge to get in touch with Archmage Tarixus, and since i already have the strike buster badge i can also contact Henri Dumont (although he is lvl 20-25 so not sure if he will give me missions...)

This is more or less the character i should build; the enhancements may be slotted in another way depending on your preferences (please note that since i have a lvl 38 INV/EN tank perhaps i've focused too much on defense... In any case taunt would not be very necesary to you, as a brute, with W. Hands and Invincibility's taunt aura you should get enough aggro...

    Dunring 41-50 i would put an rechred slot on W.Hands and Bone Smasher and took my Patron powers... if you have another travel power different from SS, I would switch hasten for the fisrt power of your travel pool and SS for your travel power, in any case i would drop one of the others auto resist power for hasten (or even build up) and took this power between 41-49... Take into account that although the percentage of resistance is not very great it helps a lot.

  12. Life at Sharkhead isle was great when i was 25, i had a Brooker (Mickey the Filch), 2 contacts (Cap. Petrovich and Vince Dubrowski, the one concerned with the Hellforge) and i was doing paper's missions in order to get another mahyem.... Then at some point of the negotiate with the COT mission (given by Vince Dubrowski) i leveled up to 26! Great! I returned to my contacts to get a pair of brand new missions and 1st captain rewarded me with a DO and XP as the story arch was finished (I already kidnaped the Iron Widow) but then Vince just told me he did not had anything else for me... Dammit! Well, lets do a pair of the easy low rewarded paper's mission.... After them i got IP's Mahyem and once it was done I got a new contact from the broker: Lorenz Ansaldo... Nice, I went to him and.... <<I do not have anything for you>>.... What????!!!
    So, basically my contact are not giving me any missons (althought they are supposed to be meant for LVL 25-30)... Now I have to return doing PVP or Paper's missions (but that's boring i want to do story arcs, that's not any fun in entering the same cave again and again), I've found the Archmage Tarixus at the graveyrad but he asks me to learn his history in order to gain his respect... Shall i read any historical plaque to get missions from him?
    Help please, I love this game, I love my brute and I love fury, but I already run out of missions from contacts at Cap au diable and now it is happening again, and franckly speaking, to do the papers' missions time after time is ruining me the game... My reputation is set on... I do not remember the word but it is the equivalent to Invincible at COH.
    What should i do?

  13. So you would recommend to take the way I planned first?

    I also prefer to take these powers instead of the patron ones, but before choosing new powers i would like to hear about what other players think about patron powers for brutes...

    My SS/EA brute is lvl 25 and i was just worndering if the auto resist damage powers are worth of getting them or if it is better to get patron powers instead?
    I planned the last levels as follows:
    41 D. Field
    44 Energy Protection
    47 Taunt
    49 Cosnerve power (not very useful as I will have Energy Drain and Stamina.
    The best thing of choosing these powers is that none of them requires more than 3 slotts to be useful and i would get a lot of spare slotts to use in other powers, however i could drop them and get the 4 patron powers (from Ghost Widow-due to character history-) or 3 praton powers and taunt... But just in case they are really usefull (as per the description they do not seem so...)
    What would you do?

    So if I get you properly, you would use it to aggro the mob, wouldn't you?
    I my case as i'll get rain of arrows at 32 i was thinking on using it for aggroing them... And on the other hand, i was not planning to get smoke grenade...

    Hi!
    I have teammed a few */Devices blasters and I have seen them setting up trip mines on the way between the team and the enemies before sniping them... I am playing an Arc./devices blaster and i like this Cloacking dev./trip mines/ caltrops /snipe a mob combo (or shoot them a rain of arrows to atract them...)
    The question is, how does time bomb convines with this maneuver? Is it worth of getting or will it explode too early/too late?
    And how do you slott Trip Mine and Time Bomb? 3 dmg/3 recharge?
    Any tips from an experieced traps master?

    And concerning arcehry... Are stun arrow / ranged shot any good? For snipping i was thinking in Blazing arrow... And since i'll go for Aid other / Aid self i have top drop some powers...

    One question: Time Bomb seems to be a very situational power... Is it worth of getting or may I skip it (as per build)? Would you go for Medicine or is better to get more primary or secondaries (Stun Shot, ranged shot...)?
