Help on my Energy/Inv brute
i say resist energys isnt worth it...my energy/inv is 48 and she done fine without it, thats the only secondary i skipped tho. as for primary, depends wat u wanting the brute for.
if just pve skip stun, ive skipped taunt too as i tend to use that particular brute more as my solo toon but find in teams whirling hands is quite a nice aggro getter. haste is just fun for unstopp recharge and handy but energy does give ok recharge without it. but they all just my thoughts
This is more or less the character i should build; the enhancements may be slotted in another way depending on your preferences (please note that since i have a lvl 38 INV/EN tank perhaps i've focused too much on defense... In any case taunt would not be very necesary to you, as a brute, with W. Hands and Invincibility's taunt aura you should get enough aggro...

Dunring 41-50 i would put an rechred slot on W.Hands and Bone Smasher and took my Patron powers... if you have another travel power different from SS, I would switch hasten for the fisrt power of your travel pool and SS for your travel power, in any case i would drop one of the others auto resist power for hasten (or even build up) and took this power between 41-49... Take into account that although the percentage of resistance is not very great it helps a lot.
Cheers
Hey m8,
Have no experience on the Energy attack part, but have some invul. brutes.
I'd stay away (like mentioned) from the resist energy and resist elements passive powers (not worth it imho). Instead I invested in more S/L resistance, since over 80% of all encountered damage is S/L :-) I went for a 5 slotted tough (2 endrd and 3 res)

i have an em/invul brute in the high 30's and its end heavy unless you double slot all toggles with end reds.
Also i skipped the passives in favour of aidself
i also skipped taunt, stun, whirling hands from em
take barrage as its a damn good fury building power as fury is based on hits you do not dmg you do so faster hits build more fury(fury builds even if you miss).
I'll leave you with my SG's mantra.
The more end you have the more hits you do.
The more hits you do the more fury you build.
The more fury you build the more damage you do.
The more damage you do the less end you use the longer you can fight.

[/ QUOTE ]With hasten, and 3 rech SO's:
DP recharges in 135 seconds, and heals 80% HP
Aid Self reharges in 7,5 seconds and heals 40% HP
Aid self is a MASSIVE survivability boost, far more than passives.
