I think most of Team Toril hit 14 or 15. I only made 11 because I had a boat anchor on me that never made it on. Will catch up to 15 this weekend though. Ryxx and Pep did a pretty decent job tankin considering the level. I only died when they did and I was aggroing everything in sight.

Ended up making a Spines/SR.
Umbriel will be playing again as well. He made a Broadsword/Shield. -

I16 is live. Currently locked out due to internal testing though.

Going with Spines/something, just gotta figure out a concept.

Moto Q9c in Licorice from US Cellular.

Overall not a bad phone. Had the battery fry in it twice since I've had it over the past 2 years though. Qwerty keyboard is much more friendly that a Palm Centro (even though it looks close together). It works well with normal sized to fat fingers, which the Centro didn't work that well for me when I tested it. -

Look closely. This is one of the single most bizarre things I have seen in quite some time. May take several tries to display as the primary site is getting hammered. -
Quote:Thanks MMP! Glad to see you got caught up with the group.Had a great run last night. Thanks Toril for setting up the pre-session ITF. My Crab went from 46.1 to 49.2 during the 4 hours of play time
Hopefully that'll be far enough along to hit 50 next week - assuming it's villain side. -
I blame Des. I stole his format.

I will be running an ITF before the ISOs session on Wednesday for any interested. ISO mates will get first dibs on spots, after that I'll fill from globals.

Quote:It's like this, GP: some people are addicted to ITFs. They can't help themselves. They deserve our help, not our scorn. We must reach out to these unfortunate individuals and help them say NO to thrice-nightly ITF runs.
I am half a bar from 50 with no ITF run. We made an attempt to get the team to run an ITF last week during session, but alas our team lead wouldn't fall for our bribes of candy and xp.
Hopefully there will be a group of people wanting to run an ITF or LGTF or LRSF tonight. It gives people an opportunity to all get merits instead of just the team lead getting merits plus those lucky enough to be on the same arc. None of those TF's take longer than the ISO time allotment. It does lock up X number of people, but if you get good leaders to run those TFs it doesn't lock those people up for any longer than a 4-5 standard mission arc. -
Quote:Here's the thing. Some people show up late. Some people leave early. Some people miss sessions. How does everyone stay together?I should be there, hopefully we'll have a good turnout.
Is there a reason the target level is 48 and we had a fair amount of people hitting 50 last week? It is possible to turn off xp, people. Run your own stuff if you want, but just turn off the xp if you're farther than everyone else. It's a bit silly for the whole group to be this far apart with all these options available to us.
Eh, not that big a deal, I know, but it's nicer to have people in the same range about.
Basically those that are further along than everyone else are those that come on time and stay the entire allotment of time. No reason for those people to turn off xp because others are leaving early/showing up later. -
Don't know. I'm running out of server slots.

Quote:I am amazing. Masque said so. That's all you need to know.Having not played with an amazing Kheld that I know of...I really don't know what would make one or how to play mine to be amazing at least passable.
I know I do the buffer/healer thing okay.
I can be an okay blaster.
Tanking is easy button.
I have hard time scrapping.
But I ramble what does make an amazing Kheld?
Actually to be honest, playing a Kheld requires at least some general idea about what you want to do with the character. It doesn't fall into one category and the powers don't all synergize together, but they don't have to. You get so many power picks to choose from that you can pick a theme and go with it. Most players don't seem to do this though, they are either overwhelmed with all the power picks or they just choose all sorts of shinies and slot randomly. Maybe I also have the benefit that I ran my WS up during I3, so all the changes between its release and its current form have just made it easier and easier for me. Playing my WS like a dark scrapper with pets works out great for me.
Most amusing run I have had with my WS post AE was on a LGTF with a PB. He got hit by a Rikti Quantum that nearly killed him and he wanted to know what the hell just hit him... When I pointed out the Quantum, he asked, what those were. He was L50. -
Aion installs Gameguard on your system. If its not removed before release I'll be disabling it/working around it as its a pain in the as$ and causes my system to freak out on occasion. Gameguard does nothing essentially.

Quote:All I can say is I did not ninja the /kin on purpose. Hell, his team lead was on vent with me for f**k sake. I didn't know he was on that team originally until fits started being pitched. Then I scroll up and see him saying something about losing power, and then he leaves team and goes back to Team Des.Team Cheater went well last night. I think everyone made a lvl except for Chum and Masque, which is a good thing.
I had to go AFK suddenly and I handed the star to Toril and the team ran the VanGrun arc.
There was some confusion at the end of the night.
When you say, "next team to leave a mission, break up", and then shortly after you see someone who you knew was on all night say LFT you assume a team has broken. I didn't even see that he had power problems til I scrolled back up after he had left team to go back to Team Des. I don't keep SGchat in a seperate window, its mixed in with all my other chats. This is why last week the team I was running never got beyond 5 until way late. I never saw the LFT people until it was too late. -
Quote:I checked the webpage out too and this got me a bit turned off too. I have nothing against PvP (and still consider it a lot of fun).
But if advancement depends on it, I just can't get into that any more.
Based on quotes from the development team, PVP is not required to advance in the game. It is very PVP oriented, but in the patch that will be played in live release there should be plenty of PVE to do. According to the devs you will be able to PVE from 1-50. Whether this is accurate or not, no one really knows at this point unless they are playing the asian beta version of the game, which is already in 1.5.
Also, being that the game has a very strong PVP backbone, the PVP seems to be fairly balanced. The biggest problem I have with the PVP aspect is there is no way to tell what level an opposing person is until you engage them. If you see big damage numbers, they are lower level than you, if you see small ones, you're pretty much dead. That part of the system worries me abit. I'm not a big PVP player in City because I felt the introduction of it caused too many problems in the game. However in games that are built with it in mind, it could be fun.
It has been fun to play thus far for me. I didn't feel like I was wasting my time as I felt in EQ1 or EQ2. The graphics are very well done. The game play feels polished. All in all my experience has been fairly good with the exception of the L20 guy camping the arena quest contact inside the arena that was just killing people 10 levels lower than him just to be an as$. -
