  1. Here's mine and it's a bit unconventional but personally it works great for me. The build tries to balance regen and recovery with damage and I like the result. Note the slots are correct BUT not in the order I took them I just whipped them in there quickly to make this post.

  2. Next to my Ill/Storm it's my 2nd favorite character to play. Stick with it you will have great rewards as the character levels up!
  3. Actually you aren't getting the same recharge I'm getting I don't think. MIDS only shows I get 130% but I think that is because you cannot toggle all the invis powers on at the same time to get them taken into account.

    I appreciate the input but I stick by this build. It's rare I have any issues with being held or knocked down I do have -3 KB as it is. I also know it's weird to have Ragnarock in Freezing Rain but I fooled around with it and there is a method to my madness. The difference in damage is significant in the long run.

    At any rate that's what makes the game great is all the options to be able to do all these different fine tunings to suit each players own style and needs.
  4. Here's mine.

    IMPORTANT NOTE: I just made some changes to MIDS based on my current build some of the slotting actually occurs earlier than shown. Most notably HEALTH and STAMINA. The idea here was perma PA, perma hasten. Perma freezing rain was a nice bonus....

    Anyway there are lots of steath powers that are never used it's just for slotting LoTG 7.5%.

    My recharge rate is 200%.

Now I might be able to get around this at a different resolution but at 2560x1600 when trying to do a character transfer not all servers are visible and you cannot scroll the servers up or down to get to the server I want. Anyone else experiencing this? If I missed an existing thread about this I apologize.
  6. Okay put the door back it's time to lock up.
  7. I have a 50 of each. My Ill/Rad is retired. I love the sheer hell I can bring forward with Ill/Storm (fire for my epic). Properly IO'ed Phantom Army is only down about 5 seconds even without Accelerate Metaoblism to call upon. I solo set to +3 and +8 and don't break a sweat.
  8. Don't rule out Ill/Storm. It's my favorite build so far and you can really slot lots of purples in it, at low levels no less if you exemp often. Honestly give that a try I think you'll like it.
  9. Of course another way to combat this to some degree is to increase the drop rate of the purples and other rares.
  10. Okay not gonna go into a huge discussion here but if you have about 1 billion inf burning a hole in your pocket give this one a try. Yes I know odd mix at the end but too late to really add an Epic pool and I found I didn't need them anyway with all the purple IO bonuses and I needed the slots where they are so had I added anything else I would have been short on slots anyway. I have respeced this build over and over and this is where it has ended up.

  11. Yesterday I was playing a new controller on Triumph. I was lvl 12 at the time and heading to a mission in KR. I got a blind tell "Can I join you?". I turn around and a lvl 7 defender is following me. Okay, I invite him and SK him and we get through the mission okay and I ding 13. Then we are headed to Perez and he asks for the star. I've zoned so I can't see who he's inviting. He invites 3 people to the team. Two are level 7 and one is 9. I explained we needed other to sk them. The lvl 9 says I'm almost 10. When I hit 10 I'll sk one of them. We do okay until we get to one room with a pair of bosses that were lvl 14. I keep hitting one of them with confuse in the hopes he will take the other out. But one of the 7's just has to get in the action and argos the other boss. I then need to try to confuse him. The problem was that I didn't have confuse slotted up enough to keep casting it on two red bosses fast enough to keep them both confused. I should have just said no to begin with and not let us start the mission. I knew better. Sometimes we vets do noobish things too! lol

    Boss Changes

    Allow me to run an idea up the flag pole. Maybe the issue with bosses is also relative to your own level. I'm not having any real problems with the new bosses with my lvl 48 Blaster. That said I haven't played my lower levels since I3 came out. So maybe the fix should be to make the bosses harder depending on the lvl of the boss. A lvl 1 boss is what he always was. A lvl 5 boss is 5% harder than he used to be and a lvl 50 boss is 50% harder than he used to be in I2.

    After all they should get better too as they lvl shouldn't they?
