For some strange reason (a forum bug, or the fact that you never saw this back in Feb when I posted this) the forum has automatically decided to pull up my past posts as recent work.

Funny, back in Oct, I was necroing threads, now the threads are necroing me.

And I am enjoying the Market section again, especially as I am now making my villainous move into the Black Market.

The art, writing, and layout are all very professional looking.

I am not a big fan of voice chat. I do use vent or skype with some friends and it is ok, but a resources drain on my system.

As an optional feature, voice seems to be ok, but I do hate other games where you hear hords of kids cursing in the background.

My big fear is that even as an option, it will be expected for members of a PuG to use it by the group. For example, my friend that uses skype will not team with people that don't use skype.

So count me in as one of the "DOOOOOOOM!!" sayers.

Best is not to allow this type of team entry into PvP zones at all.

For the distance problem in same zone--auto-teleport to your sponsor when out side of x feet for y seconds with a count on both toons screens.

To the "Get rid of email" crowd, I do use email. I even occasionally send in-game emails to non-SG people and to non-friend people. I was slightly unconvinced when I couldn't send or respond to emails on new-under-level-10 toons, but I got over it. But please don't kill all in-game email.

The two best suggestions I have seen are:<ul type="square">[*]Make in-game email a 15 day, 3 week, or 1 month veteran “reward”[*]Make a button on in-game email to forward/report offensive email[/list]Thanks.

I have generic or standard bind set for all my toons that includes an interactive menu to up load specific binds.

The standard keybind file I call “keybinds0.txt” is very extensive and specific to my play style.

I load the binds for the 1st time in game by typing “/bindloadfile C:\games\cohbinds\keybinds0.txt”; or if I am on a computer that that last toon used was one of mine that I save the keybinds to the game’s directory (using “/bind_save” command) I can upload the game’s last key bind set by typing “/bind_load” command.

Also, be careful of cut and paste keybinds, the “ symbol can get confused with ” symbol and the ‘ ‘ symbols: if you must cut and past, use a text based word program like notepad.

Here is an example of the bind menu-system used:

Then you have to populate those text files with the keybinds you want, getting file names and locations correct.

I don't agree with most of the "nerf-farm threads", because any change would negatively impact other player, and just move the gold-farm crowd into PI radio missions or some other area.

Yes, UnSub’s top ten was brilliant.

Even the grey-pin-striped suits in the market had fun during the weekend.

and FreeNumb's boards had Dub-XP drama too (I had to check several times to ensure I wasn't in Virtue's drama section)

Thanks for a fun weekend! The server upgrades seemed to work fantastic. Some of the population issues were frustrating, but not insurmountable.
