Ha, wow, welcome back. Condolences on the situation; that's something you hope to never have to deal with.
TOR is extremely interesting to me too. I absolutely loved the two games and I really like the era, so it should be interesting. I will probably play it at least for a bit at launch, see how I like it. -

As Thessalia, aka Alecto Nox, stated he has played in one of our groups before and had a good time. I do remember him as well.

Dude, I like you, I had fun with you on that ITF a few days ago (I was Alecto Nox), and GL/HF with this-- but could you guys please stop making a new thread every time you have something new to say about this?
-
Well, they are pretty old images.

Oh man, I remember the old WH40K supergroups that used to be around back in the day. Can't remember what they were called, though. But they always did a pretty good approximation of Space Marines.
I'm not into Warhammer, but you might find some people interested. -

For the first time, Hero characters can become Villains and vice versa, enabling Heroes to cross over to the Rogue Isles and Villains to experience Paragon City.

Haha, I was just thinking about this last night. Cool. I'm not sure I'll actually move any characters, but we'll see.

Guess NCSoft's investment in this game is to make a bunch of cool stuff and make us pay over and above our $15 a month for it. *sighs*
[/ QUOTE ]
At least NCSoft isn't Blizzard, where new expansions cost about as much as the game and come far more frequently? We've had a ton of "free" (well, with a subscription fee, but you know what I'm saying) content and if the price point isn't absurd, I won't have any objections to buying an expansion. They've made a bunch of cool stuff and we haven't had to pay any more for it, so eh.
dear god why am I up -

And then there is also Dominatrix. One only needs to read her bio and see the theme involved in her...NPCs...
[/ QUOTE ]
And in particular, the line in her background about how she serves her own grandfather in all capacities. Let that one soak in your brain for awhile. D:
Heraclea, I'm sorry your arc got pulled and I'm glad I had a chance to run it before. I'm not terribly surprised, since it's easy to miss the joke, but still. I got it, and it made me chuckle (especially the lesbian agenda database, hahaha). -
Happy birthday, dude!
And, that's awesome. I wish our aquarium were like that (although it is damn cool in its own right). -

I don't doubt a whole bunch of stacked AOEs is very nasty against normal mobs. It's when the blasters run into AVs and GMs when things become wipes.

You know nothing of what you speak. -
Okay, this is freaking awesome. I've been idly checking back for updates ever since I tossed up the Lil reference pics, because I thought the idea was so cool, and damn. Looking great, Graver. Can't wait to see it in further stages
Man. I can't stop gushing about this. Love the fluidity of the bodies, the expressions and the detail...I think I know what I want for my birthday -

*applause* Brilliant. -
I've been too sad to reply to this yet. I'll miss you, Cuppa
The Tabula Rasa community better treat you well. And I'm gonna miss the Cuppathon on Test, unfortunately- I'll be at DragonCon. I hope everyone has fun, though!
/signs for a CuppaTribute somewhere in the game
G'journey, Cuppa! Come back and visit us. -

Is Castle's sig quoting everyone's favourite robotic assassin from KOTOR?
[/ QUOTE ]
From KOTOR2, and I think it was one of the other HK models, but yeah. -
For females: the Straight boots are clipping through Tight Pants when a character is in a combat stance. See here for example, complete with precision-drawn arrow
This is what it normally looks like when the character is standing up straight, running, or flying.
Jay is seksi!
Oh yeah, forgot to add: this is only happening on the right leg, back of the pants. -
LOL! Too cute.
Thanks for the explanation.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned the inaccuracies with Ms. Liberty yet. In the Laws novel, she's reverted to her original name of Jessica, in spite of Manticore's claim that her first name is Megan.
[/ QUOTE ]
That inaccuracy is even on the UK CoH website. I've been wondering about that for awhile.
[ QUOTE ]
And Monica Richter Cole/Maiden Justice apparently passes away in 1986 (the book does give this as the year the story is being told, several times). However, in the Top Cow comics, Lord Recluse has insinuated that she is still alive, ambiguously well, and possibly being held captive by him. Guh?
[/ QUOTE ]
Eh, he actually says "My sister sends her regards", which is ambiguous enough that it could mean he's in contact with and/or imprisoning her dead spirit or something...at least, that's how I took it. I haven't read the book, though, so is her death "on-screen"? The faked death is a classic comic book thing. And so is the non-permanent death. I still lean towards spirit, though.
[ QUOTE ]
Also, the devs simply MUST have at least one day in which Ms. Liberty wears her alternate costume bedecked with bows and with a unicorn shoulder bag.
[/ QUOTE ]
*snort* Okay, I don't get the reference, but I think I must hunt the books down now. -

Unless Banner!Positron is the same color as the *bright blue background*, the answer to that question would be: *crickets* He is most definitely gray.
[/ QUOTE ]
He's not gray, he's gold. Kind of a dull gold, but definitely gold.
