Cause man, you know you wanna make all your favorite heroes and villains. Cause you know it's possible.

I picked the axe and staff as I normally do, but then it asked me if I wanted the staff or wand again and I couldn't leave the screen without picking the wand cause I already had the staff. As far as I'm aware I shouldn't be able to have both on one character, unless it's been 54 months apparently. Which it hasn't. I've only got the 3 year badge.

So do they mean your account needs to be active and paid for for the entire period, or do you need to play every day as well? Cause, that'd be pretty crazy. I don't always play, but I always pay.

Quote:If this were the case, I'd think maybe they'd just take a little time off somewhere to improve the filter rather than leave it broken and togglable.I've already explained it. Pretend the filter isn't togglable as far as the rules are concerned. That's irrelevant.
Fix it up a bit. Because no matter how you look at it, having a filter togglable just makes it look heavily like, atleast to me, that profanity is acceptable to an extent, despite the ToS. -
Honestly, I haven't quite figured out why there's a togglable profanity filter if it's against the ToS to cuss in the first place. If it wasn't togglable then I could see it working with the ToS, as then the only way to cuss would be through bypassing it. As it stands though, they give you the option to cuss and see other's cussing, if you'd like to. Now that just doesn't make sense to me at all, if it's supposed to be against the rules to cuss. The fact that they'd allow you to in the first place, rather than keep everything bleeped, seems odd.
Anyway, I say cuss away. Frankly, some emotions simply cannot properly be displayed without the use of cuss words. They're vulgar to some, but they have a bite to them that other words don't. There were some studdies about 2 years ago that even showed it was good for you. Made your tollerance to pain, on average, far greater than people who didn't cuss. Unfortunately, some people are offended by simple words, but that's the world we live in. You have to take that chance everytime you say something. There's always the chance someone's going to take offense and do something, no matter how ridiculous it may be.
I'd say George Carlin had it right. "There's no such thing as bad words, only bad meanings. You shouldn't be worried about the word, you should be worried about ******* that said it. There is nothing wrong with any word in and of itself." -
Praetoria has a big enough amount of players during the day, but I always hear hero side has just tons of players at any time sitting around doing nothing.
Just wondering, I figured Rouge would've brought more people to praetoria. -
I know all about the camera angle, I keep reset, zoom out, and zoom in all binded right near my movement keys cause I use them a lot. It's just, big toons are big. It's not gamebreaking, but just kind of annoying.
I'll have to try follow though, that sounds like it'd work great. I'd been thinking there should be a way to turn your camera in battle without having to click and drag and then leave it there, having to snapback with reset to move and fight others so your camera isn't crazy and you end up running the wrong direction. -
Any kind of console command I should know about that can place the camera higher, or over the shoulder? Or just something in general to see better with larger toons. Seriously, if you're up in their face melee'ing, you can't see your guy or even some of your attacks if they're not particularly flashy. Your own toon obscures the action. It's particularly bad with characters who aren't twig skinny. Zooming out doesn't exactly work, as it still focuses on you. Tilting the camera to point down is no good either cause you have to have it practically all the way overhead, which is entirely an eyesore.

I still think stalkers need the most love as far as PvP goes. If Hide is supposed to make you invisible to your enemies, then it should work against "your enemies" in PvP.
As it is, the only way to become truly invisible is to buy one of the travel power stealth enhancements which run about 10 mil each.
Not being able to be seen is essential to the stalker playstyle, so I think it's kind of stupid for opposing players to be able to see you. It makes assasin's strike worthless, as you never have the time to pull it off if they can see you.
