The same could be argued for certain Defender/Controller powers forcing my Scrapper to get ranged attacks.

What strikes me about Stalkers is that they are very specialised for PvP right out of the box. With just their basic abilities you have an advantage against PvE "toe dippers" who will be unlikely to have much +Perception. I think this leads many people to the conclusion that they are horribly overpowered. It also leads many Stalkers to think that they are overly powerful, which can have a disastorous results

I'm certainly having little problems seeing and killing Stalkers with the PvP build I'm putting together. I think the main p[roblem is that people just aren't aware enough about what is needed to succeed in CoH PvP.

Heck, you want to talk about imbalance, my BS/Regen took on a Mastermind, two Corruptors, a Brute and a Stalker in Sirens Call and still managed to kill one of the Corruptors.

I quite like fighting Stalkers, because most seem to descend into a confused haze when they realise that...

A: They can't oneshot me.
B: They're defence is meaningless to me.

Spectral Terror works well against Stalkers, especially when your BS/Regen teammate can three shot them.

Brutes: spam holds and stay clear of his melee attacks, because he'll be hitting you hard before he goes down.

Sorry, using confuse is cheating? Theres some right morons in PvP zones.

Case in point: Two Masterminds and a Stalker in Bloody Bay. Me and Hobo charged in, I turned the Masterminds into fodder while Jack slowed them to hell and back, and then we obliterated the Stalker. Got a tell shortly afterwards:

"You [censored] [censored], we were having a [censored] 3v3."

My response: well sucks to be you, you just got owned 2v3

For the love of god, don't streethunt them. Find someone with the Carnie arc, get it set for eight on Invincible and theres usually a Master Illusionist in every spawn. Much, much quicker.

Could you not craft all the things you need for the raid then sell the workshop, giving you more room? Not a perfect solution, but it would get you raiding faster.

No-one ever needed Stamina either. By taking Haste you make your build infinitely better.

I go 3 Resist/2 End in all my shields as a Scrapper, so get everything but the kitchen think slotted for some End Reduction. And stay away from toggle droppers.
