Then I suggest you learn some basic rules of the English language.

Cut me some slack, I was posting it at midnight, was living off 3 bottles of Lucozade to keep me awake... -
I remember a bug where a door for one of the jails in the Council map was in the middle of the stairs, sorry I felt like saying "ROFL OK WHO 10000000 SLOTTED HURRICANE!"

You know i was actually thinking of something like this not so long ago (for mission creator) but it got me thinking . . . . .
Youv got the hellions which (apart from 1 or 2) are the weakest villains by far and wouldnt pose much trouble to any half decent villain group.
The skulls who just like the hellions are very very easy to overcome but those two are too busy fighting eachother over perez park (which no other villain organisation thinks is a worthwhile base of operations) to sustain a respectable challenge.
Then youv got the outcasts and the trolls. Just like the skulls/hellions they are mortal enemies of eachother and would like nothing better than to get one over on the other.
Now in the early kheldian story arc you see the council employ the services of the trolls to help stop you. This lets us know that though they are mindless drugged up people, they are willing to sell their services if the price is right (to buy more superadine *sp?* i presume) to the right organisation.
Now here is my theory for a good low level arc . . . . .
The skulls are gathering their forces to try and finally push all resistance out of perez park but cannot do this alone. We all know they have access to the superadine *sp again?* machines (due to that one mission) and thus could be using that equipment as a bargaining tool to entice the trolls to join them in making perez park theirs.
Now the plan is to have numerous enemy factions in one mission (hydra, CoT, hellions, vahz, clockwork) getting beaten by the skulls/trolls team in which you must try and contain the fight before it spills out into the streets.
After that you find out that most of the villain groups have been pushed out of perez leaving just the hellions. Left with no option they breakfree frostfire from the zig and thus getting his and the outcasts help to fight the trolls/skulls team.
Now the next mission would be something like trying to prevent the breakout of the zig by defeating all enemies in there, however you learn you are too late and he has already escaped and joined the hellions.
Now the next 1/2 missions would be just to put a halt to some fights that have already started between the two new teams of hellions/outcasts v trolls/skulls.
Leading up to the final mission where you must fight your way through and defeat the four leaders of the groups.
Frostire
Atta
3k Kelvin
Bone daddy (unless we can make custome EB's too)
Well thats my idea for how it could happen anyway, have a little story to it
*shameless plug for a possible story arc of mine*
[/ QUOTE ]
Good idea Damz, but one query, wouldn't you replace 3K Kelvin with the Hellion EB villian side? Or is he that I can't remember his name -

Paragraphs and sentence structure; you should use them.

Mesa thinks I used paragraphs in the last bit...only one problem now -
Your having a bad connection. It's probably server lag. Try again. If the problem is still there, it's a problem on your side.

Chapter 1: Lab 6
Once again, Alexander Detrich went into the lab. It was Saturday. Another simple day at work. He muttered as he went through the corridors. Nobody else worked on a Saturday - except William, of course. The lab's flunky. He failed in everything that the lab sent him to do. But you had to feel sorry for the kid. He worked 7 days, and he was being paid minimum wage. Phantom Blue slowly walked into his lab, Lab 6. There he saw his chemicals that he had created. Nobody should know about them. They're top secret. William was knocking on the door. Alexander walked up and opened it. "Care to explain what you're doing out of lab, Will?" Alexander whispered. "Sorry, it's just a question. Do you know if mercury is tough enough to survive bullets from one of those cool pistols you get from Texas?" William stated. "Why don't you go check for yourself?" Alexander replied. William walked away. Alexander returned to Lab 6.
A strange smell was in the air. It felt...unusual. Like the burning of ash. Surely it couldn't be those chemicals? The chemicals in Lab 6?

The ultimate 4-way war!
On a calm night in Paragon, it feels unsafe. You can hear outcries from the skies, and pain just coming from it. Then you see it. Not one, not two, not three, but FOUR villian groups battling it out. Let the games begin.
It's late at night so I'll put the full idea on tommorow! Just enjoy the Prologue! -

Wouldn't you classify this as a Back Detail, therefore you could only have the jetpack, and not wings?
The other problem could stop getting realased though.
Otherwise, /signed -
/signed, I can't see the problem with doing it and if I get it before level 14 then I can still see them in all their rockety glory.

Kay started a new Stone/Nrg 2 days ago called Insane 3-Year Old (yes, I was out of ideas). Now I know Stone/ is very popular and /Nrg is very good.
Now, what do you think of this combo? Any tips or advice? Or a list of what and what not to take? (well obviously Granite is necessary...) -
Yeah I feel that is a good set you've made up there Rendraka. Espicially like Big Bang idea.
-
Oh please. Would you please stop this stupid rant. The future of the game is in nobody's hands, as others have said, wait and see sure it may break the game but don't make early assumptions.

Personally I dont see how TP and team TP = Invis and Team Invis...maybe im missing something?
Its not a *bad* idea, just could use some work. Maybe some more characterful stuff;
Ravages of Time
Extreme DoT
Your foe is slowly crushed as you warp their time field in various different ways at once.
Time Loop
Hold, moderate DoT
You trap a foe in a time loop, forcing them out of sync with normal time. This desyncing also causes moderate damage.
^ Now NPCs can experience lag-death too!Well, sorta not really, but hey.
[/ QUOTE ]
1. It couldn't work mate it's too overpowered. Maybe a Scrapper/Blaster power but definetely not Controller.
2. Good idea. I like it. -
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ]
May I remind you that Illusion Control has a High DMG Tier 1?
[/ QUOTE ]
With a drawback. It's illusionary damage, and heals back over time
[ QUOTE ]
Also, Fire Control has a Moderate DoT and a Immob? Psychic also has Moderate DMG and a Sleep.
[/ QUOTE ]
Fire also has holds! Zomg!
Psychic is a blast set, not really comparable
[ QUOTE ]
Check the facts.
[/ QUOTE ]
Good advice
[/ QUOTE ]
1. Your enemy usually is dead in the next 5-10 seconds, so does it really matter?
2. I have indeed no reply to that matter...because I don't know what you're talking about
3. It's a Control set as well, it's like comparing Half-Life to Halo. Sure in Half-Life you only get a crowbar at the start but then you get guns. So then they're both comparable, aren't they? Same thing with with Controller sets.
4. Thank you -
[ QUOTE ]
I think that's EXACTLY like TP and Team TP, actually...
Oh, and
[ QUOTE ]
1: Time Blast
Suck a object out of another time and use it against your enemy. Has KB.
Moderate DMG, Foe Knockback
[/ QUOTE ]
Propel by any other name. FAR too powerful for tier 1, and the rest of the set does very little damage at all. You wouldn't last 5 minutes.
[/ QUOTE ]
May I remind you that Illusion Control has a High DMG Tier 1? Also, Fire Control has a Moderate DoT and a Immob? Psychic also has Moderate DMG and a Sleep.
Check the facts.
Also, as I said Ill Control has a Self Invisibility and Group Invisibility, this is a Self TP and a Group TP. Is there anything wrong with that? I've never seen Superior Invisibilty and Group Invisibilty cause any outrage. -
[ QUOTE ]
Yes, but it adds up the break time you have - like if you play a couple of hours, then log off, then back on the next day, it counts the time you weren't online with that avatar.
[/ QUOTE ]
And that's supposted to help me how? It's just some plain text that says "x day(s) offline". It's not going to change my gaming experenice. -

360 days for all the day job badges? erhhmm what? maybe thats abit too long
[/ QUOTE ]
360 days? Yes, I agree with you. I'm not going to wait that long to get a badge and a small effect, devs.
[/ QUOTE ]
Actually, as long as you have an active account, you will
[/ QUOTE ]
I NERF GG! ROFL!
Ok, that was random...
Sure, you need a active account, but surely I will play a character in the next 360 days? -
I know this has prob been suggested before, but it's such a original idea. Here's a idea of the powers I made...it's a Controller Primary set, kay?
1: Time Blast
Suck a object out of another time and use it against your enemy. Has KB.
Moderate DMG, Foe Knockback
2: Time Lock
You lock your enemy in time, leaving him/her immobilized. Also does some Minor DoT.
Foe Immobilize, Minor DoT
3: Fear Past
Make your enemies fear and regret their past decisions. A small AoE with Minor DMG and a chance for Immobilize.
AoE, Minor DMG, Chance for Immobilize
4: Time Portal
Send a enemy through a twirling time portal to their doom. Does High DMG.
High DMG
5: Time Shift
Like Illusion Control's Invisibilty, this is a 2-type "self" and "group" affect. Time Shift will shift you in time to a specific location of your choice, like Teleport.
Self Teleport
6: Group Time Shift
Shift your whole group in time to a different location.
AoE Ally Teleport
7: Time Edit
Edit time to your own will to damage your enemies, and possibly immobilize them.
Moderate DMG AoE, Chance for Immobilize
8: Time Machine
Use a time machine to take a group of enemies to somewhere else in time. Similar to Teleport Foe, but transports a group.
AoE Foe Teleport
9: Summon Mender
Summon a Ouroboros Mender to assist your cause. This Mender has 3 attacks: Time Blast, Time Portal, and Fear Past.
Summon Pet
Hope you like it! -

I agree with Phantom on the exploration front, while the exploration badges and collection badges are cool and all, they offer little else. Perhaps turn the badge collection badges into accolades, at least, the high end ones (ie 100, 200 and higher if they get introduced)
[/ QUOTE ]
Perhaps a 'Super Explorer' accolade which gives you a power which can help you detect Exploration badges near you? It probably wouldnt happen but hey its a idea! -

1. Why do we have to get 700 mil or whatever to get a 'good' build? I feel this system is downright pants, why should I need to farm every spare time I get to get decent builds. I have nothing against farmers and I do occasinally farm. But I just feel the farmers who like to farm a lot have a edge over people who dont farm, espicially in PvP. Why?
[/ QUOTE ]
You don't.
You can get a good build on SO's. (remember those? those things you buy from shops/quartermasters after level 22/contacts)
I've got tanks that have tanked everything in the game barring Hamidon on nothing but SO's, blasters that still do silly amounts of damage, scrappers that are durable and kick out damn good damage, a MM that casually strolls through 99% of anything the game throws at him and so on and so forth. And even with Hami, IO's would make approximately zero difference.
To get an exceptional build, you may need x million inf, whatever the figure is these days. But a good, solid build requires only SO's.
Inventions are an optional part of the game, nothing about them is mandatory, even if you could easily get the opinion to the contrary from reading the boards.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah but I never really got into SO's IO's are pretty much better in terms of like Set Bonuses and stuff. OK lets put it specifically IO then.
Also, none fo you have answered the 2nd question :P shame on you! -

K I've been waiting ages for my 'why' questions to be answered...mostly because I haven't asked them yet. That is what am I going to do now.
As a player, you simply wonder 'why'. Of course, wondering isn't going to help any, is it? You've really got to know why the devs do these things. Maybe my fellow forumites can understand why these things happen?
Why?
2. Why do the people who explore usually don't get anything for it. I'm a avid explorer of the areas in the game, but really, there's not that many exploration badges to attract explorers. The only one I can really think of is Egg Hunter. The rest are really well put at random locations. The explorers should be rewarded for exploring, but it seems like a bit of a far away dream.
Why?
I think that's all I can think of for now, I'll think of more 'why' questions a little later. For now, respond with an answer or no answer. Because every post counts, they say.
