For better or for awesome, The Clockwork King is about to get Net Arrow'd.
BRING IT ON!!! -
I saw it was like 50mb and I was all like 'forget you clown!' and decided to find a hat for my cardboard cutout wolverine instead.
-
I teamed with him a little while way back when so a fond goodbye from me.
-
You could give us your build, that would help. In any case, conserve power is genrally better thna flurry unless you want to go 'look at my mighty fluury!!1!' and then everybody laughs because you're being ironic.

So...what do you personally do when you hit Domination?
[/ QUOTE ]
Lay waste to all and sundry, while shouting 'Domination!' in a very bad 'American sports commentator' voice each and every time it pops up above a victim's head.
Yes, I do get some strange looks in the office.
[/ QUOTE ]
i prefer thinking about the unreal tournament 2k3/2k4 voice(male or female, doesnt matter :P)

What I hear in my head (which is probably not how it sounds to my lucky colleagues) is the commentator from Smash TV (the arcade game from the early '90s with the twin joysticks).

I would understand the idea that the keyboard is better if CoX were a hair trigger game which required fast reaction times. As it stands, the attacks have a few seconds of heroic animation to complete making it more of a tactical decision type game where you queue up the next attack and target.
Since the attacks can't possibly be made faster because animation time is the same regardless and since your average player will queue the next attck up to be used immediately, doesn't it stand to reason that both methods of control operate at exactly the same efficiency. -
So far
- Romirez
- Dominguez
- Jesus Sanchez
So Mexican Robots.
PLanning ahead I figure...
-Enrique
-Paco Chavez
-Caesar Romero -
Should be a big A on your map. Talos, Galaxy and peregrine for heroes. Port Oakes is the first villains one.
-
Pressing keys is no more or less efficient than clicking powers. When you consider that all attacks have an animation time, you are queueing up the next attack whether clicking or pressing so the next attack will activate instantly with either method. The attacks are not instant so either method works equally as well.
I, for one, click ALL of my powers since I find it allows me freer movement, i.e. fingers never leave the wasd keys, whereas I felt hindered by the number keys, especially considering the greater number of attacks I have that would make never using clciking highly impractical.
This argument, however, on a scale of one to stupid, comes in at: Van Helsing. -
AFAIK there's none planned at current time. Any that are planned should probably be done so 'bout 2 months in advance to make sure we can recruit enough numbers like Vigilance managed recently.
-
I'll be happy to play out the usual time but despite the rockingness of Synapse I can't pull any extended shift since there be important goings on on wednesday. Happy to continue other days + next week though and definitely 7-9 for this session.

I've created me a little mastermind and since he could do with a good SG I was wondering if there's still any spaces open in E.V.I.L since you seem like such lovable guys.
the 'Evil Aviator' is a Robotics/Force Fields group flying concept character with an eye on the craziest PvP you'll ever see. -
Switched the powers around and sorted some slotting for the bots since some enhancements for them aren't available in the hero planner. I've set it up to 27 without the fitness pool at which point I'll have a good idea of what I want from there plus by then (at my levelling rate) there'll be an extra ten levels to plan and see how the patron pools affect power choices.
So fitness pool out, repair in, tactics and assault moved forward. Post 27 powers then up for debate at the time.
Also slotting refined a little, a few less endreds in favour of other powers better earlier and protector bots sorted.(Avaialble enahcnements in planner are incorrect)
I'm keeping the fly stuff though because that's the build concept. He wouldn't be 'The Evil Aviator' without his defining characteristic of flying himself and his robots everywhere for absolutely no reason but the fact that he's a nutjob. Group Fly might use up ridiculous end but It's no loss if I have to go fitness at that later point to cover it.
Thanks guys -
Okay, thought I'd have a go at a Robots/FF Build but since I don't know anything about the bots and little about Force Fields I figured I'd ask for help. Anyway, here's the build, slots not in order as usual and I have 4 slots spare. I figure they'd go into the two upgrade powers so they are 3 slotted for recharge but I didn't know what recharge time is on those powers so feel free to distribute the slots elsewhere if you so feel like it.
The Build is designed to be entirely reliant on the bots with leadershipe buffs and field defenses to make them unstoppable and group fly is also very important due to the fact that a flying platform of killer robots sounds really really cool.
However, regarding group fly, too much end usage with all the pets and too much -acc possibly?
Let me know if I've chosen any duff powers since some of the ones I lef tout look pretty fun.

For Scrappers I'd say your best primary choices are
-Spines which comes highly recommended due to a ranged impale with -fly, DoT and general kickassedness
- Broadsword, since a broadsword critical will obliterate damn near anything
and for a secondary:
- Regen, generally damn hard to kill, quick recovery is excellent.
- Super Reflexes, perhaps not as reliable as regen but elude is super-awesome and the status protection makes you good against controllers since it is stackable and a click so it can't be dropped. Plus you can avoid holds ina ddition to resisting them. -
-
Grr... If I were two levels higher with Guise. I'll bring Jersey along if that's alright since I'm in the mood for the Eden trial just because it's great.

It will be interesting to see what happens at the Vigilance raid tomorrow evening. According to their thread, they have 140 people signed up including 38 trollers... Can brute force still work?
[/ QUOTE ]
Of course it can... but we're pretty tired of it and can't do it reliably. I do however approve of Vigilance delivering a terrific mauling to Hamidon. -
I can see that being annoying on a Defender, especially given the great synchronisation between Ta and Achery but I love Blazing arrow and as Blaster set, it's no more of a problem than AR since unlike defending you tend to switch between attack chains and aren't intermixing blapping with ranged attacks wheras a defender I find is constanly pumping out debuff-attack-debuff-attack which is a redraw every second attack.
-
Never have any problem getting them in our base...
Hos: We love you Jersey!
Jersey: Shu'up Baby I know it.
*grabs cane and pimp walks out of thread* -
I will DESTROY you! Nyahayahyahya!
Plus if this happens soon I'll mostly be practicing around the level 40 mark which means for now I'm not dealing with epic pools where it's all stinking holds and armours. -
If you so insist I'll come and destroy you using the awesome power of martial arts and super reflexes, the greatest PvP powers sets known to man.
