ne1 know when the next 1 is?

AFAIK there's none planned at current time. Any that are planned should probably be done so 'bout 2 months in advance to make sure we can recruit enough numbers like Vigilance managed recently.

Defiant have one planned for the 6th of Feb. Lots of time is definatly required to let as many people as possible know when the Raid takes place. They can then level up their characters and make sure they are available to attend.
I think once a certain amount of people attend, all the people put off by previous raids attend too because they think its possible to defeat Hamidon. Numbers ftw!

We indeed need the numbers...
If we want we can try the strats used by the yanks to beat him in an hours or less to make things more appealing for many more people:

You have two groups: a kin cell and the attack/hold group.

The kin cell is made up a several kinetics, a full team of tanks and a couple of empaths. At the very beginning, the kin cell teams run into the bowl and surround the nucleus with the kins and emps on one side and the tanks on the other. The tanks start to auto-taunt the nucleus and the kinetics use the nucleus as a never-ending battery to recharge the tank's health. The emps are there to rez anyone that falls by accident and to supplement healing as necessary. Also, the tanks should have their self heals optimized. Dullpain/earth's embrace/hoarfrost should be 3 heal and 3 recharge slotwise. Healing Flames should be the same along with hasten if possible.

The main group is made up of everyone else and all other AT's. Once the kin cell is setup and the healing has a steady rythym, the main group enters in perpendicular to the kin cell. This makes sure that only the tanks are feeling the attacks of the nucleus. You could also have a PA drop team that helps to grab the aggro of nearby mitos. The main group should have a healing blanket as normal.

Once the main group is in the bowl and the healing is steady, the hold phase starts. Once the nucleus is held, unload and take him down as normal.

NOTE: the same optimal number of controllers/holders is required for this strat. The only bonus is that with this strat you bypass the mitos and can take the Hami down in as little as 5 to 10 min. That's right you heard me. The first time we used this on Champion we took him down in 36 min without mitos, and other servers have taken him down in 20 minutes.

The only problem you'll have is lag. With many, many heroes in the bowl you will see bad lag. Also since everyone is involved in the bowl from start to finish, you'll find that more people could be receptive since they're not sitting on the sidelines. If you have too many people and the lag is too bad, then you can have two main groups one on each side perpendicular to the kin cell. Have the group stay at max range for the holders/blasters, etc.

If the lag is still too bad, have melee get their hits while in there and then tell them to get out. If you don't have enough holds, then have blasters hold only with the trollers and defenders and have all the rads in the bowl spam AM as often as possible. You can use scrappers as an alternative to take the hami out. We did it with 12 scrappers one time.

Anyways, I hope this did the strat justice and I hope it helps you guys out.

But we still need those 35-40 trollers to hold him and those loads of kinetics to keep everyone alive...

So, basically is still

sounds like a good plan because of the -regen of kin altho i wud hazard a guess at least 75% of kins are trollers so ur losing a lot of trollers altho i guess they cud hold, transfusion, hold, tranfusion, hold etc.

We can also use Rads for the -regen

hmmm... time to start levelling up my /kin defender again (who will have more single target holds by 50 than my controller. How messed up is that?)

I also like the fact that it seems everyone is involved ... might stop some of the usual (and justified) complaints from the tank/scrappers...

I like the idea that it sounds like something that succeed or fail, will finish before midnight.

I'd show up and give that a go, an hour or so of an evening, even if it ends up being on something that falls on it's face, is neither here nor there to me.

I suspect the numbers involved in making that work are massive. Champion, if I remember correctly, is one of the busier US servers. I'm not sure that Union has the numbers to do it, but I can't see how it could be less successful than the old method has been. I also imagine a lot more people are happy to give up an hour of their evening to give something a go than to give up 4-5 hours, so you're more likely to get the numbers needed to give it a good go.
