  1. I've been finishing the mission while you were just lying there being called a chump. Chump.
  2. Maybe a few hours, it's striaghtforward if nothing else so we shouldn't run into any problems.
  3. I just logged on, should I be somewhere?
  4. Seven. And if levelling pace holds true It'll only take me 3-4 months to get to 40 by which time there'll be at least another month required to get tot h enewly added level 50.

Yeah Assault Rifle/Devices is so rubbish at PvP its a joke a shame really as I was looking forward to trying to some PvP with Sharp Shot but he has no place there apart form an easy kill for other players. As for TP foe as long as your not TPing people out of a safe Zone I dont see any problem with it either.

Just a Qeustion but arnt using tactics like T.P.ing people out of the Villain base expliots and agianst the EULA.

    [/ QUOTE ]

It's not that bad. Me and Doulos had a hell of a time on a building ledge. He set up the trip mines and tp'ed unsuspecting PvPers into the 'devices zone of doom.' I was there to hover above invisibly and deal with the angry return of the people he blew up and toggle drop tanks. Oh, and ask Disco King how ineffective deivces are in PvP

    HIT!!!!!

So sayeth Castle the game deisgner:

    [ QUOTE ]

We've reduced base To Hit from 75% to 50% for PvP purposes. This change was made to give Defense sets more effectiveness. With the ED changes, coupled with the prevalence of +To Hit buffs it was necessary.

    [/ QUOTE ]

That's the problem if you're spending all your time in Warburg, otherwise you might just be imagining things or been unlucky or been victim of a bug.

i dont mind that too much, its people that tp you into a phone box that i think is unfair, as your camera zooms right in and you can be stuck and do little about it

    [/ QUOTE ]

Thos phone boxes are death traps, and no laughing because I ran into one and couldn't get out again.

As for TP foe, I'd say it's fine as it is.

Firstly, as has already been pointed out, it has a low accuracy that means you spend much time rooted to the floor grasping at nothing.

Secondly, it's not actually that useful without proper planning. Primarily it's an annoyance or an attempt to bring someone who is out of range such as fliers to a position where they can be attacked which is really about as fair as them hovering out of range of you in the first place. It can probably be exploited in strange ways like the phone box for example but that's by no means the fault of the power design, more of a reason to nerf phone boxes.
And anyway, oftentimes a break free is all that's needed to amke a speedy getaway from a malicious teleporter.

A Devices blaster does have a particular use for tp foe with caltrops and trip mines but the devices secondary is underpowered in PvP and the blaster crumbles as if he were cracker bread so without an escort his trap won't work more than a few times.
  8. Super Reflexes baby, everyone and their mother is a regen. Don't you want to be special?

    My advice: Take Whirlwind

The guide i read it in the link from the post made by Jersey was talking of a nice and well organized one-at-a-time walk for scrappers and tankers to hit hami and drop back after one hit to get the hami-o, can't find it anyway....

    [/ QUOTE ]

Might not work anymore unfortuantely. Last Hamidon raid had more than a few people with teams that scored hits on Hamidon, myself included, that didn't get Hami-O's because they were too far away. Now if you could get everyone around the cytoplasm without lagging out the controllers that's what I woould say is most liekly to work.

Hey, amybe with CoV the game and servers will finally be able to handle mroe people in the Hive, just make sure you turn down all those fancy new graphics that have appeared.
  11. I think I'll go with 3 hold, two accuracy and one recharge. I've never played a holding type really but I assume it's the tradeoff between holding a single target less often for longer or more often but for less time. I figure I'd like my Dominator to atack single targets since I don't rate my chances against group aggro which means while two recharges would hold more targets or stack more quickly on the same target I can fit more attacks in between holds and hopefully still stack holds in a more deliberate manner.
  12. My best advice is not to choose stamina right away. Play to the first respec up until when there shouldn't be too much of an endurance issue and then [censored] the situation after having more experience with the set. If the end costs are anything like the scrapper SR then you'd probably need more than one endred in each toggle but I don't have Stalker experience and my new view of endurance is probably skewed by the fact that I still run a ship with as close to perma as you can get hasten and the endurance sink that is whirlwind blazing about the entire time, relying on elude to recharge quick enough to give me a sweet recovery boost.

You're not going to gimp anything without stamina so I'd say go without it and then see if you'd prefer it later.

I took dodge and agile but not lucky. The passives are a nice little nudge up in defense but you still need to way their benefits against the other possible choices.

Also, does the stalker practiced brawler need that many recharge reductions?

As you can see we have a shortge of healers, its going to be impossible to form an effective healing blanket with only 3 defenders. I am hoping that more will step up for the challange or the raid may not go ahead, as I dont want to take you lot on a suicide walk

    [/ QUOTE ]

Well assuming the PA droppers and Hamidon Tank are doing their job a smaller healing blanket should still do the trick assuming a not overly large mito clearance group. Controllers are where it's at and if you don't have them by the bucketload you're really going to feel it come the holding stage. I am however very happy to be lead on a suicide walk no matter what happens because it sounds funny.
  14. Most people will ahve some way to counter fly but it's great for ambushing and escaping or just getting a better vantage point to snipe from. However, there are a lot of -fly attacks about, there's one warshade attack that last for freakin' ever and air superiority sucks when it smashes you into the floor. Also, if you have fly, don't fight Chives.
  15. Lots of Scrappers will eat your face off. Doubly so If they're Scrapapocaylpse and trebly so if they have whirwind.

But an all Mastermind Hamidon Raid? Now that's an idea. Wait for the villain to hero switch over option then we'll go war of attrition on his enormous gelatinous backside!

Killbots? A trifle. It was simply a matter of outsmarting them. You see, killbots have a preset kill limit. Knowing their weakness I sent wave after wave of my own men at them until they reached their limit and shut down.
  16. I'm in, assuming I don't get ganked by angry tanks or somesuch. I'll also fulfill any role you ask of me.
  17. Broadsword or Dark Melee would have higher damage output but I'd say MA and Spines can really stick it to you with status effects and in the case of spines range enough to get through your steenkin' hurricane. Persoanlly I enjoy using tp foe and queueing up a cobra strike to go with it so I can tp hapless blasters in Warburg into a stun to follow up with Eagle's Claw which is a decent alpha strike and additional stun.

I'll stand as a lawyer for whomever pays me the most inf, I do have a C in Law A-Level now

I will be employing OJ's lawyer, or pretending to be OJ's lawyer, Im not sure which it is anymore.

    [/ QUOTE ]

But ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, I have one final thing I want you to consider: Ladies and gentlemen this is Chewbacca. Chewbacca is a Wookiee from the planet Kashyyyk, but Chewbacca lives on the planet Endor. Now, think about that. THAT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE! Why would a Wookiee—an eight foot tall Wookiee—want to live on Endor with a bunch of two foot tall Ewoks? That does not make sense!

But more important, you have to ask yourself, what does this have to do with this case? Nothing. Ladies and gentlemen, it has nothing to do with this case! It does not make sense!

Look at me, I'm a lawyer defending a crackpot internet comic, and I'm talkin' about Chewbacca. Does that make sense? Ladies and gentlemen, I am not making any sense. None of this makes sense!

And so you have to remember, when you're in that jury room deliberating and conjugating the Emancipation Proclamation... does it make sense? No! Ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, it does not make sense.

If Chewbacca lived on Endor, you must acquit! The defense rests.
  19. Incredible Pyro on the Spamobile would make a great avatar. My favourite characters had to be Positron, not a rabbit or synapse and of course IP himself.

Don't think he'd be appreciated in WoW though, if my play on Agamaggan is anything to go by he'd have to fight hard to be heard over the top of the 'Anti-Spanish Doodz' and the 'Ingles are fascist league' who seem to hang about at the crossroads.
  20. Hey everyone, after the PCD seemed to fold I thought I, Jersey Mk.III, would have an attempt at making my own super group! Anyone is welcome to join as long as they havea good attitude and at least some sens eof humour.

The Paragon City Globetrotters: Using the Globetrotter philosophy of Jive, game and razzamataz I've created a new supergroup to cater to three things:

    1. Heroes who have got up to the mid range levels from 20-35 ish and have fund their supergroup waning. I aim to provide an acitve SG that are always ready to help team and do the best missions possible with each other.

    2. Alts and new heroes who want help through those tough times in the hollows. I fully encourage all members to join an alt to the SG so everyone can try new things.

    3. Acting in a somewhat roleplaying manner as an actual supergroup. Using the globetrotter them, expect much talk about how much game you have and saving the real heroics for the final few minutes of the mission to provide a stunning victory against the odds.

The supergroup will have an SG night, every thursday at 7.00pm where we all meet up at the centre of steel canyon and form teams to go out and play through story arcs and tough missions together. This is what I hope will keep the SG together, a scheduled time where everyone can get in SG colours and head out for some fun. Also possible may be an alt night where everyone can help everyone elses alts to get along.

Absolutely all levels are welcome and we'd be gald to have you if you feel your current SG isn't meeting your needs.

You can contact me in game, or send me a message from the forum or post a reply in this thread. I'll do a search for anyone who contacts me each time I log in and out and hope to catch everyone!
