  1. My game decides it wants to boot up into windowed mode instead of full screen and after 2 verification, 2 PC reboots and countless log in, I am still getting the same message when trying to enter a server.
  2. Mine is getting more and more interesting lol

Now my game doesn't want to load into full screen :/
  3. Verified and ........

    ..... Nothing

    Yep, seems broke

    Having the exact same problem

    Game still down?

I read that the game will be down for a server publish for 2 hours. It's now been 2 1/2 hours and when I turn my updater on I get no patch and when I go to chose the server I want to enter (I AM getting past the sign in screen) I get this message

" Wrong game version, run patcher and reconnect, server 1800.201006040036.5Tr, client 1800.201006040036.3T "

Never had that message appear b4

    MM Bind Question

    1. Make six text files like so (change KEY and the file locations to whatever you want):

    c:\covbinds\Petselect0.txt

    c:\covbinds\Petselect1.txt

    c:\covbinds\Petselect2.txt

    c:\covbinds\Petselect3.txt

    c:\covbinds\Petselect4.txt

    c:\covbinds\Petselect5.txt

    2. Then bind KEY like this to start them:

    /bind KEY "bindloadfile c:\covbinds\Petselect0.txt"

Now when you press KEY (whatever your bind key is), it will target the pet from the list and rebind the key to target the next pet on the list the next time you press it.
I'm a little confused with this. How EXACTLY do I implement this?
  8. Thanx for that Kat (Dunno if a Fish should be thanking a cat? P)

Will try that next time I make a boo-boo
  9. I'm having a similar problem.

I made some walls out of the light brown desks and, whilst making the ceiling out of the same items, I accidently placed the new desk into existing ones in the wall.

I tried hi-lighting in room details and deleting/moving, I tried hi-lighting the new desk, that was now sticking out of the wall, and deleting/moving nothing worked.

I couldn't view from underneath as the wall was solid and the new desk was about half way up the wall.

I have similar problems with desks over lapping and then not being able to move them.

Any ideas how to fix this in future?
  10. SOME of us are still waiting for Manti to start answering the Lore questions *sigh*

    Rad/Leccy

I recently got my Rad/Leccy blaster to the mighty lvl 50 and have enjoyed playing him (Even if he is one of the squishiest chars I've played lol).

I was wondering if anyone out there had a good sets build though as I am absolutley USELESS when it comes to all the number crunching.

As I say, he's a little squishy so would like to get some defense in there but I wanna be a worth while team player.

    PLEASE HELP???

I've always just assumed that they are that high within the Family BECAUSE they have super powers, rather then the Family gave them the powers.

Not everyone with powers becomes a solo villain/hero.

So, anyone know what this is or if it's just a zone decor item I've somehow missed for four and a half years?
Is a Manhole cover considered lore though? Even one as fancy as that?

I'd class that as an "Easter Egg" if anything. TY for bringing it to my attention though. I LOVES Easter eggs

As for the whole "gift of loyalty" versus "evil scam of doom" argument, both sides need to grow the hell up.

1: It's a way to get more money in the coffers NOW. Companies like doing that. Some of us will be giving the money up NOW.

2: View it as a scam if you like. It doesn't mean you're even remotely correct. It's a business transaction. You pay, you get something. It would only be a scam if we didn't get what we paid for.

3: This has absolutely NOTHING to do with loyalty. See point 1.

I'll be getting the early pre-order. Why? Because I want to play Dual Pistols on live. Hopefully I'll get to help beta test Ultra mode with the shiny new hardware I have. If Ultra mode tanks, I'll at least have gotten to play DP for a while before I take another leave of absence.

If I'm still around to test Going Rogue and I get invited to that, I'll test away. If IT isn't worth hanging around for, last paragraph applies.

Option 1 for pre-order suits my purposes. I'm not buying it out of loyalty and they are selling it out of gratitude. No scam involved from either side.
Please take your sound reason elsewhere. It is NOT welcome on these boards!

A company wanting my money? Whatever next? :O

  17. I would put my Fish race into the cannon.

I feel there's not enough about ACTUAL alien races int he game (only teh Kheldians spring to mind) and my Fish race are a rather comedic race with a rather tragic background.

The 1st story arc I made deals with them arriving on this planet but gives some background as to WHY they're here in the first place. It will also (in a couple of arcs I have in mind) give some good ideas for when (tm) there are underwater zones.

In my minds eye I can also see that poster you see around that reads "Earth for Humans! Let's keep it that way!" but, probably in grafitti, next to it written "Sea for Fish! Let's keep it THAT way!"

All those "Sushi" adds you see also would have a little change to them so that up the top of the banner they would have to add "Earth Fish" or something :P

Oh, I have my arc ID in my sig if anyone is interested in seeing it
  18. Final update: FINALY anaged to get onto the server after an hour trying. I changed nothing. One minute it wasn't working, the next .... I'm in!

    Very strange! Nemesis plot??
  19. Update:

Can't even log in now *sigh*

MY personal best guess was that it was somewhere on the boot of Italy near Greece. I'm basing that partially on some of the Cimeroran's carrying Spartan style shields. I thought I saw something in one of the two Origin of Power arcs that said it was 5000 years in the past or so. That made sense to me since my understanding of the whole "Well of Furies' thing was that the ancient Greek gods had locked away magic and all other powers until States & Recluse found the Well. The Greek civilization predating the ROman one by quite a bit, I'm reading in some there also to go with at least a few thousand years BC.

One of my SG leaders thinks it was in the first century AD. That's well past the age of ancient heroes that ended when the gods locked away all that potential in us mere mortals though
    But they are Romans.
  21. Yeah, this is the problem. It's 6:30am here lol.

I could rant on about server mirging but that's for another post I guess :P
  22. I have logged in many times on the European servers this morning but cannot get any further then the server selection screen.

I get differing messages saying either that it can't connect to the DBserver or that it's a local network/firewall/game maintenance issue.

I know it's not my network and also know it's not my firewall (checked twice). Are they doing ingame maintenance?

Verifying my files now to see if there's a problem there.

    Anyone else having problems?
  23. I just read back a few pages ....

    Did common sense prevail?? :O

I think it's more that Stefan Richter/LR is blinkered and thinks that EVERYTHING can be explained away by science. It does say in the book that he took the ideas of the technologists (?) and took it further.

Considering the DE are left alot longer on Praetorian Earth unchecked and I'm pretty sure that the nukes had an effect on them, my guess is that the Praetorian Hami is actually a more advanced and mutated version.

How Cole defeated him alone is anyones guess but the "battle of the minds" part seems to be made alot of but not explained entirely. Maybe something went on there that the Devs don't want to explain just yet?
  25. I was under the impression that w00t Radio had closed down?

Has it been resurrected or has someone else taken the name on?
