Yes, that's pretty much what you do. The only difference is you can't use any of your own powers.

Oh it wasn't too bad. I did it last Saturday. All you need is 2 accounts, lots of coffee, and full frontal lobotomy
  3. Got it!

Took many, many hours of monotonous killing and relogging, but I finally got it. Started the arena healing session, too.

Thanks again for your help everyone.

    Correct.

Amen, brother. I think solo'ing SF's is a hoot, but getting fillers to start one is annoying.

Seems to happen a lot in the "Suggestions and Ideas" forum. Replies from fellow players to fellow players such as...

"The devs have better things to do."

"The devs would never allow that."

... are getting really old. I can understand not agreeing with a player-generated suggestion or idea, but trying to speak on behalf of the devs...

Agreed, or otherwise you could be looking at the most expensive inspiration (via WW's and the BM) in the game.

Sure it can. It happens every single day, usually in the form of receiving money for doing your job (paying you for your time, and sometimes... your skills)

As a vet of CoX coming up on 5 years, I'm going to make my perspective clear to everyone. If a new player is willing to shell out $14.99 x the number of months in vet rewards that they want, it wouldn't bother me in the least Knock yourself out, kid... you've got more money and less patience than I do.

Not quite. You've demonstrated your loyalty by paying the company more money over a longer period of time than others. You haven't accomplished anything else but exactly that. If the same amount of money was paid to the company in the form of a catch-up program, then so be it.
  9. Not sure if (or how many times) this has been addressed. I've already posted this in the SoA forum, and will most likely post this in the costume suggestion forum as well.

I decided to dual build my lvl 50 Crab. Secondary build is Bane.

Dual build at the trainer went fine. No problems. Then I went to the tailor...

The first costume slot is STILL the only costume slot that allows SoA costume pieces.

With dual builds, I was really looking forward to costume slot 1 being Crab, and costume slot 2 being Bane (you know, to match my dual builds).

    KHAAAAAAN !!!!!!

The loser gets no rep and the winner gets one point if the loser has no rep points.

At the end and out of curiosity, I then defeated the toon with 401 rep points using one of the level 15's that had no rep points.

The lvl 15 was awarded one rep point for the victory and a further 5 rep points as a bonus for defeating a "400 Rep" foe ie 6 points total.

I assumed ( oh dear that word again!) that there must be a scale for awarding the bonus points but how it does it I do not know.

    Cheers
    Hi,

I saw your post regarding dual boxing for these badges, and it inspired me

Thanks to you both for the info. I've been at this for hours, and still have a few more to go. Why it's set at 400 is beyond me
  12. I searched paragonwiki for information about PvP rep, but it didn't have the answers I'm looking for.

If someone has 100 rep and gets killed, how much rep (if any) do they lose?

If someone kills a person that has 100 rep, how much rep do they gain?

For the Disruptor badge (400 rep)... is that all at once, or cumulative throughout your career?

    Thanks.

I know I'm not the only one who thinks 21 days is a bit high. You can disagree all you want, but that last paragraph was really unnecessary.
  15. I won't be switching. I'll make all of them rogues/vigilantes, because to me it's all shades of grey

But seriously, I think that's the way to go if you want the benefit of visiting other zones while still maintaining a "villainous/heroic" flavor.

As I said, the stakes have been raised... and it's time you realized that. The fact that you cling to the archaic when this idea is something you could benefit from says something

Yea, and it's that kind of dated mentality that doesn't help. Positron made that statement long before IO's hit the streets. Face it, the potential loss during a respec isn't a couple of million infamy/influence anymore - we're potentially talking about hundreds of millions... if not billions now.

I for one would like to see the option from the respec screen to place respec'd enhancements in the SG storage bin.

Hello, and grats on your first lvl 25

I recommend the following for every new player (and for the old ones too)

    Now on to your questions...

Personally, I use training enhancements until lvl 12, dual origin enhancements until 22, and single origin enhancements until 47. Some people do the same thing until lvl 27, but then switch to lvl 30 invention origin enhancements for the remainder of their career.

That will be very difficult to do prior to your 30's. I recommend focusing on just a few powers first, and slotting them well. Once you reach your 30's, you'll start to receive many more enhancement slots (3 vice 2 at lvl 31, 33, 34, 36, 37, 39).

    Thanks for any assistance.
That depends upon what you want to do with your enhancements (above). Prior to lvl 47, I usually just sell all salvage and recipes at the market.

I highly recommend that you read about IO's on the link above, and use Mids' to plan accordingly. IO's can be a VERY expensive ordeal, so you'll want to make sure that you're making informed decisions.

    Hope that helps.

    Healing Badges

Hello. My name is Thaumator... and i'm a /dark Corruptor (ie I'm redside, and have a healing power that requires an accuracy check).

In your opinion, what would be the most efficient way for me to obtain the healing badges?

Yes I used the "search" function, but the results didn't help very much

I am willing to grab the medicine pool on my secondary build if Twilight Grasp isn't the most efficient.

    Any info would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

I don't remember seeing any confirmation from an official source that we CAN get badges from both sides (or keep the ones that we have if we switch).
  22. I'm organizing a rikti mothership raid this Saturday night at 8pm EST. It's the perfect time for you to get hundreds of Vanguard merits and work towards some of your badges. Hope to see you there.

I understand that, however hunting is hunting. I use the red side badges as an example of the disparity in hunting red side vice blue side in general.

In this, I couldn't disagree more... again, when comparing the disparity between blue and red regarding hunting. I would much rather see the devs spend their time addressing several disparities for red side hunting before allocating resources to fix only one instance for blue.
