I hope they will kill off Manticore so we can get a better Batman clone.
-
So when we reach these tiers, can we only choose certain things that use the points? I am still confused about this whole thing.
-
When old ones retire, will they be available in the paragon store proper?

Aside from the plot, I didn't like how they presented the movie either. They tried doing some weird comic panel-like shots that looked horrible and made Talbot's death look really corny and stupid. Back to the plot, sure, Bruce had a horrible family life (excluding that stupid experimentation), but that kind of drama should be reserved for a few movies later when the Banner/Hulk thing starts to run dry (kind of like the Peter/MJ drama that ran through all three Spider-Man movies, even though it should have ended by the second).

If they could pull it off correctly, it could be good, just don't kill off a character every issue.

Quote:Because it was a dream sequence that lasted all of 3 seconds, thus concluded the internal struggle of Banner and Hulk. I am going to compare it to the comics. Hulk isn't like Superman or Batman, who have had so many different incarnations in different media over the years that they can go off in a completely different direction and no one will bat an eye (like Batman Beyond, which was a success in going into a different direction). Hulk is primarily known by his comic, and if you try to completely change the character, then it is no longer the Hulk.Oh, you are judging the movie based on how close it was to mirroring the comic. I understand. The scene where The Hulk calls Bruce a puny human and grabs him from the mirror is probably being forgotten amongst the rest of the story.
Like the Constantine movie. -

Statesman is the face of the game, so I doubt it will be him. I wouldn't mind Manticore be knocked off. His death may alter Sister Psyche (Psychic + Trauma = Plot Set Up) and could shake things up for Wyvern. Another one would be BABs, he is losing a zone and it is usually the black guy who gets killed first, or maybe the devs are genre savvy, that may be a psych out.

First Hulk sucked. If you try to go for a psychological aspect in a Hulk movie, you should focus on the Hulk/Banner dynamic before you try tackling daddy issues. In the first one, Hulk wasn't as much of a character as he was a temper tantrum, and I know Hulk is pure rage, but he is still his own character.

Manticore is in the midst of teleporting.

You can use the mesh design to get a good looking chain mail. Also, the cellular pattern is great to use along with stone to get a lava looking pattern.
-
Because they treat Hulk like a person and not like a monster (usually).

Galaxy City is a dead zone, it's about time they do something with it.

Quote:I do try to research when making new characters. I researched time travel and quantum mechanics for half an hour trying to think of a cool name to reserve for time manipulation. My problem is that when I actually try to make it in game, none of my costume pieces work or the name I poured time into to think of was already taken, and a thesaurus never really works.I have a tendency to use historical/mythical elements and or hybrids of various things. Yet, some of my very best concepts have come from starting with such and such, as a Seed, and then the rest grows out of research.
One of my better characters began simply from the Magic Bolero coat. It seemed Arabic influenced, or Turkish, but I settled on Armenia - crossroads of the ancient silk trade. So I was just thrashing around with Armenian myth (a subject I know almost nothing about) drawing parallels and ran across a Goddess, who might have been a real person. 'Tsovinar'.
So, I'm toying with persons who, somehow, achieve godhood, and how a lot of the Old gods really are just like people, only written 'extra large' and with titanic powers - Not unlike our heroes, here. Anyway, spinning between this and tales of the ancient priests, priestesses, sibyls and seers, who were 'mere vessels' for whatever holy spirits worked through them... And suddenly I'm seeing a version of the million-year-old-woman... Well, not quite a million, more like 100-thousand, or 20-thousand... or, well, the precise number doesn't matter.
And the bio develops in epic-poetic form, which I've been finding very useful for cramming a lot of ideas into the small space we're allowed for a Bio.
I can barely remember when I was just a woman, just a girl, but I was one - once.
I can just remember the first time the Goddess came to me, came into me, came over me, filled me, possessed me, spoke through me, and worked miracles through my hands.
And not just one goddess, but all goddesses, who are one goddess, over and over, through time.
I journeyed from place to place and people to people, as time passed.
Goddess-touched, I grew no older, I did not die - I went on.
Filled with power and miracles, I remained powerful.
I was Inanna. I was Ishtar. I was Isis.
I was Ashera, Astarte, Anahit, Artemis.
Many goddesses and one.
But she came less often.
And less often.
And not at all.
I was alone.
For a long time.
Now it is a new time, a new place, with new gods and goddesses.
And I am here.
Be Well!
Fireheart
One new concept I had in mind: Plant guy, like Swamp Thing or the Floranic Man. -
Title says it all. I always been meaning to make an ice tanker, but never got around to it.

I can't work my print screen button on my laptop (it is paired with another button, preventing from working), but I do have advice for Grim Reaper/Death characters. The use of the pirate hook can make for a pretty cool make shift scythe arm, much like the Avengers villain.

I was hoping this thread would be about actual Hero Mastermind power set, as in, a Mastermind power set where you control heroes.
-
I think people are reading into this who "Freedom" thing. It's just a cool tag line for free to play.

American way to LARP: Civil War Reenactment.

I've been struggling to come up with looks and themes for certain characters. I've tried using the costume re-design thread, but there is no basis for a re-design at all, so I am making this thread for people to discuss and develop looks and power set combinations for character themes that are hard to develop.
For example, there are some concepts that, personally, I always had a hard time making.
Speedster
Atlantean/Under water guy
Archer
Sorcerer
Beast Man
Pulp Hero
These are but a few examples for this thread. -
I've been wanting to make a character who has some kind of darkness power, but I haven't been able to find an AT to use. So I am asking, what AT and build is best and/or most fun that utilizes darkness powers?
