  2. Be sure to file a /bug report in game every time this happens. Give as much detail as you can (what iTrial, using LFG?, locked or unlocked league, number of league members, zone starting from, etc.) so that they can have metrics to compare.

Don't use the /petition command for this, it doesn't do the same things. Use /bug instead. Encourage any teammates or league mates that have this happen to file a /bug report as well.
  3. File a support ticket either in-game using the /petition command or on the support website at https://support.cityofheroes.com
  4. I never blame a city in Texas.

Scheduling is out of Paragon Studios hands.

So I'll stick with blaming Seattle.

This is explained in the ParagonWiki.
I'm not sure they are classified as a true Level 50 critter.

I think they use the scaling code used by the various Invasion mobs such as the Zombies in the Apocalypse and the Rikti during the Invasions. Most of what I've seen drop from those were Level 30 recipes. It didn't matter if I was on a Level 15 or a Level 50 or any other Level, the recipes dropped were always Level 30.

If they are only dropping Level 30 recipes, they won't drop a purple.

They announced it on the forums here as well. They also announced it on Facebook.

I wonder what the Seattle web team deemed was more important this time.
  9. [Guide] Asking for technical help on the forums

Be sure to run all instructions on both machines and clearly label which reports are from which computer.

    Probably not.
Mostly because Flash can be used to do all sorts of nasty little things to a viewer and controls on VBB for flash content aren't very comprehensive (most boards' aren't).
Moreover, it causes additional overhead for the boards because flash usually takes longer to load in properly than offsite images do.

And do you REALLY want to pop in on the boards and have some massive, screen-filling Flash animation take over the browser window?

As much as I'd like to be able to embed my tutorial videos and stuff into the boards, and have a more functional signature, I'd rather have the boards USABLE.
    Exactly this.

  14. Congratulations Turg.

It was great getting to meet you at the Pummit.

Hope all is well with the little one and the wife.

From past experiences, I've never seen them officially let us know of someone's death.

In one instance, their only commentary (after modding some posts) was asking that we keep details off the forums.

Tier 4 is where in inf. cap is raised to 2 bil.

    So....
    T1 (Free) is 25 mil
T2 (Preem) is 500 mil + mail system
    T4 (Preem) is 2 bil.

    Do I have that right?

(and I understand your reluctance to consult Rangle... wise, very wise.)

    .
Yeah, I missed the increase at Tier 2. Along with INF increase and mail a Tier 2 can also join SG's, use Tell, SG, and Coalition chat, use player-to-player trading, MA without rewards and get a minor storage increase.

Generally those objects aren't listed on the market.

Watch your server global channels or the market forums for stuff like that.

Even if you somehow manage to buy it, the seller can't take in their profits. Well, perhaps with the market fees but there's still something wrong with that picture.
    Example time:

You've got a recipe/item that I want, and you want 2.5 billion for it.

I log in my main, transfer 1.5 Billion to you.

I either switch to a different character of mine or access the auction house and grab 1.5 Billion INF I'm storing in a bid for an item that no longer exists (there have been a few in the past, today's patch may mess some of that up in the future) or that I have stored in an email (not a good idea).

At the same time, you are either switching characters or storing that 1.5 in a Market bid or in email (bad idea) so that you have room for the rest of the transaction.

I then transfer the remaining 1 Billion INF to you and you transfer the recipe/item to me.

    Done deal.

EDIT: Scooped by FourSpeed with a different method.

    ENH converters.

I didn't hear any time frame for release of them when they were discussed at the Player Summit.

I don't recall them being stated as part of Issue 22, but it's possible that it was said and I missed it. They didn't talk about it as if it was something coming in the next few weeks after the Pummit.

    .
I would think that would be possible, but my Premium hasn't filled Tier 4 so can't test it (not to mention that I'd be having to transfer all of the INF from all of my characters on the main account to reach that mark). It's possible that one of our Justice folks has an alt account that's got Tier 4 filled (8 Reward Tokens earned) that can test that for us. I'm thinking maybe Abraxxus, Uber Guy or Bionic Flea.

I'd ask Rangle but everyone would assume it's related to one of his Plots. Same for Warboss.

Yes, I think a spoiler tag should have been added for consistency. One rule for a thread and one rule for another isn't right really.

But you are correct, no tag would have kept this news under wraps so the rest of my response was more annoyance over Paragon having revealed this so soon.

Apologies if that didn't come across well.
    No harm. No foul.

I believe the wording of the title would have been quite different if it were a report of the death of someone from either Paragon Studios (including former employees known by the community) or someone in the community. A Death Revealed.... does not seem to be a news announcement of a real world event.

Now, the title of the thread when they announced that EMpulse had left had me concerned that someone had died. I was glad to see that A Farewell and a Celebration of Life! had nothing to do with someone's death.
