vBulletin boards and Flash

I play on both virtue and on champion and after just now coming across champions new links to important threads directory I have to say as a Virtue-ite I'm kind of jealous, but it made me wonder if it's possible to embed flash in these vBulletin boards, I'm assuming it's possible though I've yet
to see it done so does that mean it's not enabled for a reason or just that no one's tried to add anything made with it?

Sure.
Are TPTB going to allow it to happen?
Probably not.
Mostly because Flash can be used to do all sorts of nasty little things to a viewer and controls on VBB for flash content aren't very comprehensive (most boards' aren't).
Moreover, it causes additional overhead for the boards because flash usually takes longer to load in properly than offsite images do.

And do you REALLY want to pop in on the boards and have some massive, screen-filling Flash animation take over the browser window?

As much as I'd like to be able to embed my tutorial videos and stuff into the boards, and have a more functional signature, I'd rather have the boards USABLE.
