  1. If these smaller iTrials were set up so that people couldn't pre-form teams and destroy the usefulness of the LFG system, and were not horrible to play, then I would certainly queue up for them.

Of course, I'm still hoping the new Dark Astoria will give me a convenient avenue to building up my Incarnate characters.
  2. The idea that pink is for girls may have biological roots.

And a certain Gainsborough painting would seem to indicate that, in the 17th-18th century at least, boys might be associated with the colour blue. It's incidentally often associated with another painting from around the same time which would indicate the girlish association with pink.

Until we become homogenous beings that lack the general characteristic differences of gender, a certain amount of bias will always be normal. The trick is getting to the point where we acknowledge differences without either forcing limitations based on a perception of them or trying to sweep them under the rug for fear that they make us unequal.

Do explain how pink boxes imbalance society. Frankenberry wants to know. He thinks you're prejudiced against him.

Pink boxes for dolls are hardly a "problem".

They've been around for quite some time, actually. Since the 70s, at least. They use them in the military (or used to) for vaccinations.

I like that the "dolls" section is easy to spot. No one wants to accidentally wander into the creepy-staring-babies section.
  10. OffTopic @ OmniNoGuard: Which is that, a Deceptibot or an Autocon symbol?
  11. There's superhero stuff in the pink section, or there was last time I was at Toys "Я" Us.

  13. He only needed to survive long enough to get into the space suit...

Overall I found the episode entertaining, I suppose. The girl's idiocy annoyed me. And the space marines seemed kind of random. And the acid rain danger they introduced was just as random. And the ending with the family was sappy and predictable.

The bet parts were the Wonka tour and the Doctor crying like a human.

"Quasi-permanent" refers to pets that only despawn after their 27¾h timer runs out, so you do not need to click the power more than once (unless you don't need any sleep ).

So, while the two terms look similar, I used them to refer to different things. What other designations would you suggest?
Ah, I see. I might say "everlasting" or "omnipresent" in that case, but in most discussions I think the difference would be moot.
  15. I wouldn't want it to be a toggle as it would likely be shutoff when mezzed, but the frequency which it has to be resummoned is annoying.

Also, the only archetypes that are supposed to have quasi-permanent pets are masterminds and controllers/dominators.
These statements appear to be at odds.

I wouldn't be surprised if they set the price point higher than I'd like, but if they set it the same (or higher, for that matter) as buying a new slot it would be actual robbery. And while I honestly wouldn't be shocked about that either, I would certainly raise a brow disapprovingly.

And you much prefer the hard Navy SEALs. I see.

SEAL training is rough. As I recall, most of the male candidates who apply fail. It is, of course, illegal for women to apply at this time. If/when that law ever goes away I heartily concur that any woman who could make it through the process would be exceedingly rare.

But that has little to do with being unable to accept it happening fictionally.
