I always thought the set needed an AoE version of Lift somewhere in it. But then, I love KnockUp.
-
My favourite set to play with in general is Force Field. The defense is great, and I will always prefer the constant wide-area anti-mez effect to the short-lived single-target de-mezzers even with the sleep hole.
My least favourite set in general play would have to be Radiation. The set offers no mez protection to the user and a sizable portion of its usefulness lies in enemy-affecting toggles which are too easily nullified by the numerous mez effects the enemies use. -
So they apparently fought Elektra, Spider-man, Cyclops, and some hook-handed guy this episode... I keep watching with the hope that it will get interesting.

Have you ever breathed in and out to match the character's breathing as animated? Maybe it's the constant running around they do, but when standing still they seem to be on the verge of hyperventilating.

I started out hating the song, but by the end of the video I wanted to see Dracula: the Musical. Must've been a good video.

Anyone can see the difference in line quality and dynamic composition. You may as well compare it to South Park while you're at it, since your ability to distinguish the artistic style seems limited to "they have big circle heads and large eyes so they are the same." Similar to someone pointing out that the aforementioned Beetle and 911 are German automobiles with four wheels and round bits so they must be the same.

The other boon of FF over Traps' FFG for the truly selfish Defender is that you can skip everything but Dispersion Bubble and easily more-than-softcap your Defense versus Smashing, Lethal, and Energy without even bothering with set bonuses. And you have a respectable 35% or so against everything else to work with.
Though I find that to be a better trick for a Controller... -
I personally hated the FFG when I gave Traps a whirl. It moseyed along its stupid pet pathing, not always keeping up and getting inconveniently destroyed far too often when it did.

Seems to me like you'd be better off dialing down the spawn size, using your ST Hold and Immob and closing with the mobs with Hotfeet for damage. Heck, you might be able to take out eight x1 spawns that way in the time it takes to whittle down a single x8 spawn with the AoE Immob.

Quote:That's a poor representation of his comic book outfit. A properly done version would look stellar, and probably wouldn't involve spandex - certainly not for the entire thing. As bad as that costume is, though, at least the gloves are red and the blue field on his chest isn't interspersed with gray/white lines for no good reason.Put cap in his comic book outfit on screen and it will look god damn ridiculous.

I always liked Snarf. And I like the new design for him. I'll reserve judgement on the rest until I see it in action.
-
I've seen it described as chain before, but more often it seems to be depicted as scale armor. I'd love to see them do the outfit like that, but it seems they're trying to keep it closer to military in design.

It's not "sat wrong" so much as the proportions are off on it. Like it's standard television ratio forced into widescreen. In any case, I like that the male helmet doesn't go all the way to the jawline, and I prefer the angles on it. The only thing I would change is trimming down the protusiveness of the brow/forehead.
-
If they tweak the scaling on the male version, I hope they keep that angle on the side vents and forward edge, as I prefer it to the female's.

Quote:So, after you get your Alpha slot you can now only use Magic origin enhancements even if your origin was something other than Magic prior to that? Because otherwise your statement is tangibly incorrect by the laws of the virtual universe you are arguing about. This is what happens when the Well infuses you with Magic powers. Whatever you were before is irrelevant now, because you're powered by Magic.

It seems pretty clear from the in-game descriptions and effects described that the source of Incarnate power is a sort of cosmic power that encompasses all origins. -
Don't get me wrong: it's not the dirtiness of the straps that bother me, but rather the way they eyesore-ically interrrupt the blueness.
-
Those dirty gray strappy bits look more terrible every time I see them - they shoud have been blue to match the top. And that star should be a bit bigger, I think.
-
Many of my character concepts are gods, god-like beings, or able to go toe-to-toe with such beings. Once in game, all of them have managed to fall disappointingly short of concept.

The Penguin's crimes may revolve around a variety of flying animals, but the Penguin himself is themed on a flightless bird. And given that Batman doesn't only stop crimes that revolve around bats, the comparison only works around a personal theme.

Quote:So, Joker-Robin is Dick Grayson...This series isn't meant to be mainstream DC Universe. It's based on a different Earth. I forget which. This allows the show's creators to change things up a bit. For example, Robin is Dick Grayson (so they creators say, despite that Robin keeps is ID secret from everyone in the show) and KF is Wally West.
