If you are serious about not allowing new players to use MA until they know how to use there toons (make it elitist) link it to veteran rewards if you don't have a 3 month badge you can't use before lvl 30. When you have a 6 month badge then we will allow you to play with the big boys little toons. Or better still you device a mission for there toon’s they have to play and finish to show you they know how to play there toon, then you can personally allow them in to MA

    Not realy a sensible idea.
    Tbh, Blueside is the bigger problem, this time. Red side, although there shouldnt be one in Mercy, there aren't that many people farming. Maybe the content is better, or maybe people are less fussed. Either way, its not clogging the channels and messing up a newbie zone.

    Blueside, Atlas in particular is, well, bad. To put it lightly. If the devs are worried about farming, then having an MA in Atlas and Galaxy is just asking for trouble. Thats like teaching people that farming is alright, and no manner of nerfs and tweaks the the MA will solve that.

    A pinch of preventation is worth a hundred pounds of cure.
  3. Pretty self explanitory, really.

    Absolutely new players should be able to learn how to play the game, and find teams at the same level that are doing normal things.
    Then, at a slightly later level, they can investigate MA.

    Experienced players will be able to head on to MA if they want to, or do normal things without being swamped with farmcalls in the low level zones.

    An added bonus is that the Devs might be able to cut back on having to take so many steps against farming. Those that really want to will always do it. So make it a *tiny* bit harder (one zone away), and a good chunk of people might ease off it.

    Just my suggestion, anyway.

    And yes, I play on Union. I also play this game mostly for the RP. Adding Union and Defiant together *might* work alright. But it might also lead to a ton of arguements.

    Anyway, it really isnt our call. NC run the joint, and will for some time I think.

    Correction, they care about what more than one person think.

    Union and Defiant have each grown to have their own unique groups and flavours. Some people wouldnt like a merge, some are indifferent. The issue of name clashes is also a problem.
    Take that to an EU-US scale, and you get one big mess.

    Anyway, Merger threads are actually not allowed. So lets avoid that can of worms.
  6. A lot of the higher end Villain arcs. Kuh'Rekt, Von Grun, most of the others I've never got round to.

    Radio, Slot machine and Television are a nice little subgroup.

  8. Or something more realistic, like /e handonhip. Like, just one hand. Or /e handspockets. Something realistically casual, rather than some of the rigid ones we have.
    And they need the breathing cycle. Crossarms and akimbo cut out the cycle that makes the character look like thye are breathing, which does help a LOT with the posing.

    So long as she didn't take lessons from him. Then she might stand a chance.
    She might also give the female characters some of the parts that they should have anyway (skull mask, official belt on all options, etc. )

  17. Harsh on Avatea. She and GR did end up getting us a lot more info then we used to get, and replying faster too. I know *I* wouldn't want to really work on these Forums

    OT; Customisation is always good. And amen to that, GG. Integration I tend to hit on the run, just to stop it doing that and martial arts could be either punches, kicks, or a mix. With slight re-naming, I admit.

    Errm... does this mean it's rendered virtually useless for masterminds then? All of our pets are generally lower level to ourselves aside from one -- our lvl 32 power. As much as I love my Assault Bot and Lich, a set like this would be better served on Battle Drones or Zombie Hordes.

    This is the first I've heard of this little issue and im ever so slightly miffed since I've been slotting them into Battle Drones

    A way to have boss groups remove a spawn if the spawn where they spawn is already occupied. Knowing where AVs/EBs/Bosses will spawn due to lack of normal spawns is a pain. Same with ambushes.

    A way to change the purpose of a spawn mid mission. Say if you have three patrols wandering around. When you trigger/complete an objective it would be nice to be able to tell them that they are now an ambush.

    Allowing hostages/allies/etc to be drawn from a list at random so you can have a variety of looks rather than just one. And if that's impossible allow linking of objectives under one heading.

    All those get a huge /SIGNED. Great ideas.

    Personally, one I would love is;

    Being able to edit in-game units, at least difficulty wise. For example, if you wanted to use an Assault Bot as a Boss, you would be able to scale to Minion, LT, Boss, EB or AV level, rather than having it stuck at 'pet' level (however that cons)

    Also, allow full chose on MA mobs powers. Like, if you want them to have just Slug and Buckshot, for example. I know with one of my Fire Blast bosses, I dont want him to have Fire Breath, yet am stuck with it. And what about creating low level mobs? On certain things, like Assault rifle, they are stuck with flamethrower. What If you dont want them to have flamethrower? Annoying as hell, and I bet its another 'anti-farming' measure...

    No, just pets you use in MA missions.

    There is only a fairly small subset of MM pets available though. You can, for example, change the colours of some of the plates on an Assult bot, or give the lich yellow skin and a pink robe. Oh, and I had lots of fun with the Oni.


    Shows the tech has gone in though, all they need is to do is the interface.

    Aye, even this allows me to edit one of my arcs for the better. Instead of having some random mob boss, I can include the AV MM's Assault Bot. Pity we can't colour the pets that are summoned, otherwise I would give him the full black plating that looks so awesome
