Quote:If this were true, shareholders would realize the full magnitude of what useless incompetent ******* tools the suits in NC Soft truly were.According to an interview with Robert Iger, Disney actually contacted NCSoft about purchasing City of Heroes. However, they were turned down, so they went with their second choice instead.
I still think there is something being unspoken.
They are really fighting us on this. --For what?
Do they really hate money that much?
None of this makes much ******* sense: The Players don't want COH to close, the gaming community doesn't want it to close. There is sufficient support to keep it going, and it's profitable. What's their motive for being ********? -
I'd like to live just long enough to be there when NC Soft goes bankrupt as a reminder to other gaming publishers that it's the happiness of the customers that determines the rise or fall of each and every MMO.
I want to be there when their shareholders realize they allowed NC Soft to toss away one of their more profitable games, and when they are looking for someone to blame for their failing stocks; I'll be happy to direct them to this choice, and the individuals responsible for their discontent.
I've burned my bridges with those NC Soft morons. -
Quote:This.Well then. Our one last option is to wait for NCSoft to enter bankruptcy and be forced to liquidate all of its assets. We'd have to be collectively poised to pounce on that opportunity the moment it arrives. :P
And it's bound to happen, since they've burned their bridges with many of their loyal customers. -
If this doesn't work, I suggest we throw some mud in their eye and take it to the global media. (Not just the Gaming media.) They eat up **** like this, and NCSoft will come off looking like the big bad corporate bully, stomping on the defenseless gaming public.
I'm sure that'll be a permanent stain on their PR.
MMO's are about the gamers, not the publishers. ---We didn't ASK for this, and we don't WANT this.
It's time they got the message. -
FOREVER: (Apparently it means until November 30th 2012, in Korean.)
Their vows of matrimony must not mean a whole lot, either.
Just sayin'. -
Be honest, exactly how many of us would return should NCSOFT reconsider? I lost a lot of trust and confidence in them after this blunder.
-
On my brute I slotted with 2 acc and 2 end red, on all my stj powers. I let fury take care of the damage aspect. I have very little problems with end.
-
I tried to get around it by luring Manticore away from her. It doesn't seem to matter much.

Quote:Granted. But that still doesn't justify them telling us nothing.I'll say it .... We don't have any right to complain or considering if they didn't go ahead and take us down for maintance and fix it we would be in there complaining something was wrong. They don't have to give us things like double xp but they do and if there is something wrong we should be saying thank you for fixing it not bad mouthing them for doing something right.

Sqeaky wheel gets the grease.

My understanding was that the Villain would have to be level 50 AND complete the TF.
-
This still seems unbalanced, the Heroes require no TF to attain their epic AT, why subject the villains to it unfairly?
