  1. I'd say bane. They solo well thanks to their good ST damage and their aoe damage isn't that far behind from crabs if you keep the Wolfspider aoes.

Seriously, don't be so passive about gaming. Expecting someone else to form a team will only lead to a life of standing around twiddling your thumbs.

My advice, whatever reason you find so horrible about having the star, beat it.

Aye I love Malta (not hard to deduce I know ), I never found them as problematic as people claim, then again I almost always play a char that has some countermeasure against sappers and, make it a habit to carry bfs.

Just as a heads up as well, both arcs are villainous.
  4. I'd love to know what you think about my arc Might Makes Right (5213). It's a Malta themed arc though, so if you rather not do it then I'd also like Mercytown (6017) looked at too.
  5. I'd be interested in something like this, I'd be especially interested in your interpretations of said figures.

The context is villainous, but it is neutral if not heroic actions. First definite 5 I've played.
Hi, I'm glad you enjoyed it and I'm thankful for everyone who has dropped my arc's name in this thread. Unfortunately, it was only until the forum merge could I post this.

Try this: Mass confusion on the first spawn, Total Domination on the 2nd, and if you're team is moving fast, then Terrify on the 3rd spawn, then repeat.
  8. Flashfire > Fire Cages > Fiery Embrace > Fire Breath > jump in with Hotfeet and blast away

A lot of people play their dominators in different ways, personally I like to save my ST hold to lockdown dangerous targets such as liuts and above and then scrap it out with any unmezzed minions.
  9. I'd love to know what you guys think about Mercytown (6017), be warned that it is a villain-orientated arc though.

Aye that's been fixed now thanks. One of the MA updates joyously decided to jumble the darn map.

By chance, did you happen to play an arc of mine called Mercytown? If so then that's one arc I won't be submitting at least. ; )
  12. Think stone spears comes from the Earth Casters, the one where they stomp on the ground and the stalagmites comes out. Hmm, I guess that would also make it the first blast to have zero travel time too.
  13. For those that missed it, someone has posted the powerset here as seen in Comic Con, they are:

    1. Stone Spears (4 sec rech, 2.1 sec animation)
    2. Stone Mallet
    3. Tremor
    4. Hurl Boulder (8 or 10 sec rech, 2.5 sec animation)
    5. Power Boost
    6. Heavy Mallet
    7. Seismic Smash
    8. Mud Pots
    9. Fissure

2.1 sec animation for your tier 1 blast? Ouch, I know one power I can save slots from at least...
  14. This sounds like it is going to be a very painful update for my squishies.

    Missing Freaks?

I've just been trying to make a custom group of Freakshow from the standard pool, only to find that the only Freakshow that are available at lvl 50 is the Noise Tank. Am I just being blind, or has almost all of the lvl 45-50 Freaks gone?

Also I can't find Dreck either, and Im pretty sure I've seen him used in MA before.
  16. I am sad to hear you pulled your arc down Xem, I really enjoyed it.

Though I also have to agree with Xem about Footsteps. It's a good arc overall, but I think I gave it 4 star at the time, and it's not something I would consider for HoF.

It is, as Xem puts it, 'lowest common denominator' in that it's a very safe arc. LOL internetz jokes will always get the most laughs, and there's nothing much to think about here. It's just a bunch of NPCs shouting 'LFT!' and 'XPeees!', which consequently, it also means it has become what passes for mainstream here in it's inoffensive content that anyone could understand.

That's not a bad thing mind, but it's not something I would give special merit for.
  17. Also something to think about: the devs will likely send a comment to the author asking if they want their arc to be DC'd and well, we can't receive messages from the US.
  18. I was just thinking about trying that sewer TF you made AP and was wondering where it went.

    Oh dear lag!

Yes the lag is terrible, I pretty much avoid Cap now.
  20. Good review Leese. Also:

I''m going to take a wild stab, and say that the author was using the boss as a lvl lock?
  21. That's one colourful review, keep them coming.

    Review Thread

Good review, and glad to see you're back on reviewing.
  23. Me likey, the 3 sec animation made it pretty suicidal to use in a heated fight, where doms live by 'mez or die'.
  24. You may enjoy Mercytown (ID: 6017) Zaprobo, as you'll be working with fellow mad scientist Dr Krylov.
