In addition to what was said above, about being in the right zone/right time, global channels, and missing chat due to the nature of the trial... A lot of the action that happens on Champion is within Supergroups. When I get on one of my toons it is usually pretty easy to find a team with my SG, and I've noticed fewer pug invites than when I'm on Pinnacle, Protector, or Virtue.

It never hurts to have toons on more than one server- lots of people do it for many different reasons. If you are looking for lots of people on at any one time, and can't join an SG, etc.- I'd go to Virtue, Freedom, Infinity, or Justice, but don't give up on Champion completely.

Another fine example of why my residence hall is evil. Yea fire alarms! At least we know there are plenty of emergency vehicles that show up quickly. The odd thing this time was that it wasn't caused by a power outage; the sensor above the pool table went off (and no one was in the lounge at the time it happened.)

And now it looks like I won't be going home for Thanksgiving this year, so I'll probably be around on Saturday 11-28 to play after all.

For some reason I didn't think of it either- but then am already in the channel so probably took it for granted that everyone else would be too.

Does it have to be a cookie that is actually baked? One of my favorites is a no-bake cookie that is so good the language village counselors used to try sneaking them out of the cooler.

I've never had a toon gen'd (yet) but my toon names tend to be obscure references to personal stuff, or harmless real names and jokes. Few people understand me because my brain is broken, so I'm mostly safe.

I can admit that I have reported people who have created obvious rip-off toons based on Marvel and DC comics. Pervy names that offend me personally I try to ignore instead of report- everyone has a different sense of humor. (Though if I saw one named after a known war criminal I might report that, too.)

Aren't the previews implying that it ends up being one of the family that pushes the button that is selected as the person to die? Maybe I'm reading too much into the tiny clips they show. Interesting concept, but I think I've read about a dozen science fiction stories that seem to be based on the same general theme.

People who feel the need to inform everyone about every milestone they achieve with their toons with the expectation that everyone should praise them. Repeatedly, for years.
