After AE, it could be topsy turvy.

But I want my City Vault. And I want forum populations to display with things like heroes/villains (and I suppose /praetorians soon) because it does my villain no good to have a high enough hero population to push a server down the list if he is the only villain on. (Unless I want to go to a co-op zone to team.)

For all the EQ zones I never recall all this angst about populations because we all gathered to scrap for our turns to camp spawns. I don't want that here.

Bottom line, even the allegedly lowest pop servers have enough people if someone is willing to put forth some effort to team and if someone doesn't want to put forth the effort, there is Freedom.

I'm not even sure where to go with this one. I always thought you were kind of a reasonable squirrel...
You seem to be taking his comment personally and very actively interested in discrediting BillZ's thread results. This leads to a reasonable assumption that you have a bias towards the question.
  4. I'd recommend Paragonwiki.com to the OP and checking out one of the linked build planners.
  5. I believe the title Praetor was used in the original Star Trek series when they found a planet identical to Earth except that Rome was never overthrown. But regardless where I first heard the word it was pray-tor so I have always read it in game as pray-toria.

No worries. I am not spoiler adverse.

According to Netflix Season 6 is out on 8/24 so one week after Going Rogue I can finally get Lost.
  7. Terrific. I am still waiting for the release of Season 6 to finish up but this will entertain until then.

The market is broken because people want to purple their warshades for 100k can't.

    Crap.

Oh well... I guess the cat's out of the bag now.
Why would anyone put Catwhoorg into a bag?
  10. I didn't either. I can't find the post where someone gave the steps to fix it. I'll have to check my settings at home. We use IE at work.

All I can recall off the top of my head was that it was some setting I had to do on the security tab.
  11. Do you mean the forums? Are you using Firefox?

If so it has something to do with the security settings. I will try to find the post where someone explained how to fix it.

I could state emphatically it is at least (insert my age at the time of being asked) years old.

The rest of it could be the product of my warped mind.

Or I might say it is older than dirt. But he would probably have never asked me.

And - careful, OP. I've got... oh, the count's gone up, but I was near 170 characters on two accounts last I looked. That altitis sneaks up on you. (I should zero out my CGT account and just log everyone in - it'll take at least two hours, but I'd have an up to date count.)
I went on a purge last month of characters I haven't really played (all under 10) which even if I wanted to play them I was thinking of starting them in Praetoria so I am down to 126 on my 3 accounts.

In 3 weeks that number is going to climb quickly.

This only works with stuff people actually want, so steer clear of holds, sleeps, all the usual suspects.

Let's say you decide to work level 30 damage IOs. You can either dial in your numbers by watching prices for a while, getting a sense of the high end, or you can take the shortcut, check once during 'prime time' and place a bunch of bids for somewhere between 1/2 and 1/3rd of the "going rate". Sometimes you can get stuff even cheaper, but the goal here is turnover so I try to bid high enough to be certain I'll fill up before my next login.

Once you win a bunch of stuff at discount rates, re-list it for well below the 'going rate' but at a high enough point to ensure a worthwhile profit for yourself.

This same principal works with set IOs, but the amount of inf involved can be prohibitive for relatively 'poor' characters, and the timeline is usually a bit longer. If you make a mistake flipping generics, it's no big deal. If you make a mistake flipping the more expensive stuff, it can take a big bite out of your nest egg.

I've been doing this almost literally since the market started- back in the day level 50 flight IOs were my bread and butter. That it still works like a charm is a testament to how little attention the average player pays to our little corner of the forums. =P
You horrible goat! You're keeping the casual player down!

He's only in his first month though. He's well on his way.

As for costumes I hate that the best I can come up with you need the 39 month vet reward for would be the boxing set then replace the arms with robotic arms.

In the place of the real boxing stuff I would go with sneakers for shoes, baggy pants like sweats and baggy shirt like a sweatshirt with the two robot arms.

As for names I would try to get:
    Unarmed Boxer/Fighter
    Mostly Armless
Cyboxer (as in a cyborg boxer)

The AE room doesn't despawn pets.

Of course if you continue to team your individual enhancements are not as important either. Solo you have to be able to do it all.

Each one varies. I tend to see how much the enhancement sells for versus the recipe since usually people pay a lot more to buy the enhancement. For example a Steadfast Protection: KB Protection can go for many millions more than the recipe but the salvage to craft it are cheap.

Typically I cannot afford the listing fee on my first one without twinking so I list if for as much as I can and take what I can get because I just don't feel like wasting more time than I have to at the markets.

Any idea on what the other person considered "fail" to mean? I think some people have the belief that we should have all the servers go yellow/red on August 17 from a sudden influx of people and anything less than that would be a failure in their minds.
