Question loggin in here

How come it takes me 4-15 times to log in with my user name and password?? It tells me thanks for loggin in, then the next screen shows me not logged into this site. I should Remember Me, and it never does. It makes it extremely difficult to post ANYTHING due to the fact that sometimes it will not even log in. Any ideas??

Works 100% perfectly fine for me. What web browser are you using? Do you have any customizations, add ons, weird plugins, etc installed? Any filtering proxies?

It's not a universal problem, so we need to know about your setup to help solve the problem.

Do you mean the forums? Are you using Firefox?

If so it has something to do with the security settings. I will try to find the post where someone explained how to fix it.

Yes it is under Firefox. I do not have any unusual plug-ins that I know of.

I didn't either. I can't find the post where someone gave the steps to fix it. I'll have to check my settings at home. We use IE at work.

All I can recall off the top of my head was that it was some setting I had to do on the security tab.

After looking through a few threads, a few things:

• Try disabling the the cooliris extension if you have it
• Upgrade your version of Firefox to the current version
• Delete any cookies associated with the boards, and clear your cache

From the few threads I was able to find via Google, there were no conclusive solutions... it just seems like the problem went away since there's been no mentions of it since shortly after the boards switched.

GOT IT!!!!! It was the CoolIris plugin messing it up!! Thank you, thank you, thank you so much!!! That was soooooo irritating. I stopped posting for a LONG time from frustration.
