There was a time I had 2 million inf. and I considered myself a rich kid on the block!

Now I have a total of about 2 billion on my main characters, with most of them IO'd out to the teeth, and I don't even consider myself remotely rich. That's my concern.

The concern that the value of 1 inf. is dropping, and dropping FAST as long as anything beyond SOs is concerned.
Here is your failure to understand.

The market is not the base playing position.

If you have 5 million you are rich because you can afford your SOs. This was not an option until the markets were created unless someone gave the inf to your character. We were poor then with no means to escape except to find a sugar daddy or make one of our own.

Now any new player has a leg up on where we were for the first 3 years of the game if they have enough intelligence to sell their good drops on the market and get by with SOs until they can afford more.

And yes if they are intelligent and play the game they will be able to afford more eventually.

As for someone who cannot play as much I would love for someone to explain to me why someone who plays 4 hours a month needs PVP IOs in their build. I cannot imagine they'd be able to PvP worth a damn playing so little.

People with ridiculous entitlement issues make me laugh at their self-imposed and self-created misery.

The game is fine with SOs. IOs of any stripe are a step up but not necessary.

Calling B.S. on this and hard.

The market takes nothing from anyone. People give it to the market. They are not held at gunpoint to pay their inf for non-essentials in the market.

And the ridiculous assertion that when I pay what I want for Alchemical Silver someone rich gets it is more nonsense. Common salvage drops are the easiest way for the poor to get rich if they sell it at the market.

The view some people have of the market makes me think they are playing in Bizarro world.

Instead of working to resolve this issue with other players and Customer Support, make a mess on the forums and ragequit. Good show.
I've often wonder why these types don't just PM the mods and ask them to ban them and save everyone the time of reading their nonsense.

They were maybe a B-cup in volume, although that was an estimate (its not like I can have them try on bras to be sure). What makes them look larger than that is partially texturing, and partially the fact that the female torso has a significant arch forward. The model would probably look like it had more than A-cup breasts even if you literally removed the breasts due to that arch.
This got me to thinking how cool it would be if we could make our characters appear according to our designs in a solid full scale form. I have a "werewolf" I'd love to put on my front porch at Halloween.

I blame Star Trek for my flights of fancy like this.

But I know that you will simply not budge. You're padding your post count, and disagreeing for the sake of disagreeing (as someone mentioned).

So I'm just gonna smile and nod! Yup! You're right! Statesman and Reichsman are the same, but the way they dress shows that one is a Hero and the other is a Villain, even though their bodies are the same - they've both chosen the way they dress, but they have no choice about their body. I fully agree with you and say that you speak sound and valid logic. You're also consistent in your opinions and are a paragon of non-discriminative behavior, along with great reading comprehension and great self-confidence in your image and what you represent. Yup! I wish I could be more like you!

    Just smile and nod, guys!
While that is one option to deal with posts that aren't worth reading I tend to take a more final approach.

Thanks for the work and the fun and the communications.

    Tips

The only workaround I can think of would be to team with a hero running their hero tip missions.

    Why no....

I'm not sure why they didn't give us a direct buy option for commons other than to keep the market supplied. I know we had a thread where we were wondering how much a direct common buy would cost and that was at least a year ago.

Typically I just roll randoms and throw a pair of each of the ones I wasn't trying to get into the base storage and sell the rest but sometimes the RNG makes me roll a lot to get what I need. I hate the RNG.
  11. If you have 150 Vanguard Merits you can buy the Gr'ai Matter shard from a Vanguard crafting table.

Then you need 1 more common shard to get to 8 so you can either do the common Cardiac or Common Spiritual boosts. (4 to Ancient Nictus and 4 to Hero 1 or 4 to Essence of the Incarnate)

Or you can run TFs to get the uncommon shards.

But you will need at least one more common shard to actually craft a common boost.

This means you aren't facing his increased resistance and hopefully can blunt his regen some while you're off defeating each summoned clone. If you can't find a clone fast enough, you're going to lose ground.
And this is why one teammate or pets can make all the difference. Someone needs to dedicate themselves to killing his clones as quickly as they spawn and it is over fast.

I think this is the new status quo for red name posts, and that we should get used to it.
I would add that, at least from my perspective, they seem to be paying attention to what we talk about even if they don't respond given the enhancements they have been making the last few issues too.

For examples, I was very happy they added the Lady Winter mission to the Winter event for something new to do and I really liked GR and Issue 19. So for my money they are doing the most important thing, improving the game. (Though I do miss their banter on the forums.)

Why would being able to choose commons help when uncommons dry up?
  15. I think you should buy up all the candy canes and delete them.

You can actually see me do this several times in the video. So I have certainly been distracted away from the damage "floats".

But I also never let him get more than a couple of clones out, so I'm sure that's part of it too.

I wondered if this was what you would tell us. It could explain one report we had in this thread of someone's MM robots doing dinky damage to him.

So it buffs his regen and his resistance? That seems a bit rude, because the resistance makes each point of regen effectively worth more, so the DPS requirement needed to defeat him actually accelerates with number of clones instead of increasing linearly.
That's why we have to kill him before he gets more clones out or we have to kill the clones.

The lava won't hurt him once he has 3 or 4 out.

    Awesome idea!

I'd also like to phone my landlord with rent payments.

Yes, it's hard. It's supposed to be. If everything related to Incarnates was just as easy as everything else in the game, there would be no point to it even existing.

If you want to spend all your time clubbing baby seals (or the CoH equivalent), there is plenty of stuff to do already. So why are you crusading to have the difficulty lowered on the content that was designed from the beginning for those who want more challenging stuff to do?

You want easy? You have TONS of easy. Don't crap on the people who wanted more challenging when they finally got it after years of waiting.
I personally don't think Trapdoor is hard. He's easy for some of my characters and tedious for others.
  21. I see I continue to lag Nethergoat in financial dealings. I still cannot burn money even this "Monopoly" money.

Gaining levels is still a grind, even though it's much faster than it used to be.

Personally, I'd like the game to be more friendly to the casual gamer, which is what I'm turning into. No subsciption cost, only fees for expansions like Going Rogue and the costume packs and such. I'd also like to see leveling get much faster, so that I can play only a few hours a week and see good character leveling progress.

Is anyone else drasitically reducing their playtime and feeling like I do?
I've drastically reduced my playtime but I don't want it to be free to play nor to level faster. What would be the point to leveling faster with less time to play?

    This.

    It needs to be fixed.

A level 30 popping open level 39s isn't going to clean up anything.
