Mad ranter here, with probably my last rant. I have no hate to devs, but I know after this awesome game goes down I will never buy into NCsoft or arenanet again. My suspicion of another hero game will not appear from them, could be due to they we're sued and thats why heroes closed again that is my theory. I believe I speak for us all I hope in saying blessings to the devs on getting employed good work guys, and godspeed.

Far as what now, I tried lots of MMORPG'S what do we have hmmm. Coh was truly on the money not far from the truth of what a hero game is to be like. CO is nice if you like comic book drawing graphics, action was ok, missions were ok, travel powers are truly unmatched awesome in that department, then whats wrong I felt like my powers we're not as fluent as CoH. My battles in CoH really felt like I did all the work. Wind blast that knocks you back I only wished for weather effect to feel after that lol. The stats in CoH made since, other hero games fail at IMHO granted I only played 2 other hero games CO, n DCUO . DCUO mimics heroes graphics more closely though I believe it surpasses CoH, hey we did awesome to be old. DCUO has a great game engine, controls are a bit woncky, but fights aside from controls are like heroes. I suspect its the targeting or your mouse not controlling the HUD is it. DCUO also has a decent character building options close as CoH. Grappling exist to an extent in CO, aswell as DCUO I like the idea but both games need grappling tweaked. CO did a better job in that department IMHO. Its been a while playing CO, but both I believe let you start with travel powers. I have not met end game of the 2, because im not sure which to accept DCUO is closer only cause I hate CO graphics. DCUO just added sg bases which are actual buildings in the city from what i've heard of it, and with there engine I think vehicles are right behind it. CO your strength justifies what you can lift and carry, something to grow on cryptic is doing awesome since leaving us.

So that is my positive help on us being able to follow the devs and move on. GL to you all I will miss you all here on CoH/CoV. I hope to play with you in the others if you should choose 1 of the 2 options of hero games. Should neither be a choice WoW is not so bad as it was made out to be, and after trying it, it is and was never our competiton completely different style. We only shared population numbers with WoW. To the game that makes you happy GL guys.

BTW I am rethinking my purchase of GW2 if a game as great as this gets canned without a sequel I cannot support logging in to GW2 I will be to crushed to even look at NCSOFT logo without some sort of fluid release. The mad ranter is back I did not leave I was checking out competition including GW2. I grabbed my chest like yoda losing Mace Windu when I felt a dark shift in wind the only game to make me a pc gamer, mmo love, I friggin left console games since CoH, I found there is No I repeat NO competition . CAPS ON - GUYS I LOVE YOU ALL WHO I'VE GAMED WITH OR CHAT ON CoH/CoV/, ETC... WE ARE THE BEST FOR OUR GAME TYPE HANDS DOWN. I want to thank all our Devs. , old or new. Its bitter sweet I remember rage ranting at devs for being lazy, I told you guys we should have all thrown cake at em that day lol. Our devs we're the greatest they responded and, acted on our cries, compared to the 10 other mmo's I ran through this past year only prepping to support NCSOFT'S GW2. I apologize brothers and sisters if my missing logging in could have played roll in our demise even trying the population thief due to hype n money WoW decent but, not our CoH. Forgive me. I am lost for words my game is WHAT!!! Silklash Kraken will live.

Also to bone heads outside our forums saying AE kiled us no where near truth AE golden,silver, n bronze age had high population addictiveness, repeative but we we're here. My OP what would have fixed our low population

1. adding lvling to 100 shut up everybody lol

2. get there from 50 in the newer cities to which they made pointless kinda n dumbed down for nothing.

3. we had tired giant monsters,alien, & zombie invasions, that lost there call for our own and best dynamic events but dont axe em add more doh too late.

4.power sets should have never gone for sell that was our bread n butter next to costume building.

5. we just got vehicles like a hover board n they quit now grrrr. we we're missing travel powers out the wazoo ive played Champions they win with teleport lose everywhere else lol.

6.they couldve combined unused cities to kill loading from zone to zone.

I can only hope CoH2 does all these if I know its not, but if honor us by rezzing all our toons who reached 50 to keep our old powers at the lvl strength or use the newer purely beautiful new powers for the lvl n graphics, after 50 getting new powers anyways.

Sorry for wall of text its my last I can go cry now waaaaaaaaaaaaa oh n whhhhhhhyyyyyyyy. wait last ditch effort help Devs my toon is stuck after shut down day can you fix my log-in issue and everyone else's while at it.

3. Are you kidding, I pay monthly for 7 years off, and on, I have been desperately looking for the perfect game. Blasted game, if coh is the thing I keep coming back to through all my rants n searching.

Well I was gonna throw in the towel on this game, but here it goes since its fun speculation.

1. City of heroes 2.0 sounds good 1 is starting to lose me.

2. maybe wrestling/grapple moves engine.

3. weather, storms blowing some with altering effects like falling down from a harsh wind,etc...

4. vehicles for traveling possibly

5. environmental damage and interactivity like picking up rubble or trees which is number 2 kinda.

6. maybe it will be AE's anniversary and they will let us fully customize missions, including a place button to place objects, buildings, baddies etc.. anywhere in the map, like base building kinda.

again, and someone said utter failure is i20, but im optimistic, and like the speculation part of the thread rock on thread dude.

I hate guild wars, now GW2 omg a dream come true so far if its all that and bags of chips CoH is gonna need that f2p concept with buy boosters n packs as the bread n butter imo.

Of course I won't up n go. I have a sg/vg crew, and I respect, and really do care for there feelings to just abandon what we worked on for years. There is the chance I could be playing less though I won't deny that.

Can you give up, but not tap out?. You do realize all these ideas we're screamed, and dreamed of 3 years, or more ago. I love em all, does the devs enough to make these true.
I won't say, it goes in line with my rants of blowing away our competition.

Sadly our competition will have to arrive and bury our beloved game, because our devs are idk what doing. When they should be on a NO MERCY twitch stomping on the other mmorpg's, my only guess is theres no money to be made if they took em out. Well I have to ask, am I being mean, or should we stomp on the competition?.

Anyways not to take from a good thread yes to all newer places of battles or zones whichever sigh, yes to revamp, remodel, re'up, reshuffle, redo, remulligen, repair, rescale, regenerate, re hey i thought thats what the expansion was supposed to do. Sigh!

Even wolverine fished, but I did get off subject. I have a good one sometimes i play delivery n try to get things for the market not there. Very busy job lol

Our forum has lots of mean folks with mean comments. Not in here please.

This is a list of things that make you praise devs. Have any add them please.

1. Playing lots of mmorpgs for this great game we get free expansions.

2. They respond right away. I didn't say fix lol, but try like the wind

3. They put up with all our crap and quietly makes things happen takes years sometimes but yay. They can hear us

4. They have great anticipation for issues releases. Don't count us out by next issue we got something that will knock your socks off.

5. We have great stewards of a great game lots of maintenance sometimes, but shows care we are running smoothly try MTGO if you don't know bad servers

I sure hope they keep up the quality there i know i forgot lots. I will be last to quit this game. Go Devs!!!

If we are vets then i do remember a certain time way back some years we did run Frostfire story arc about 5 times or more. This was before we could link missions though. NO WAY am i running any arc 5 times, 1 is enough now.

We must still keep the thgt of everyone has there opinion on how they like to play. We cannot have the attitude of play like this or else. Every player plays differently, and has the right. We keep forgetting its the company we keep that really makes it fun. If we logged in, and was the only player how long would we enjoy this game.

I had never been more happier than the birth of AE, broadcast chat was on fire. The line lft was hotter than sewer team forming pssst. We loved each others company, piled in that building with no room to flap a wing. Sorry redside its always been the way it is I love it.

Honestly do we run each other over with mac truck blinking cursor. I say it isn't fair to beat him up for running the arc so many times, no matter how weird.

HA lets see and keep in mind these are my opinions n some from sg/vg

1. the auto sk/lcky killed us i think majority of us play for fun just want to lvl fast try a build n move on why they nerfed ae after we havent seen numbers like that playing since forever ago i dont know because of the few crying over noobs not learning SO WHAT teach em

2. forum is flooded with ideas they barely ever use like they think they will get sued

3. maintenance aggro made lots leave

4. where is creative missions fighting near a spewing volcano,on clouds , in swamps, during thunder storm etc...

5. emotes of fishing but cant fish i would love to fish for insp,io's, badges , outfits, n fish that are a new salvage for crafting.

6. add bus stops that can take u to mission doors to eliminate the city to city run around just to talk

7. im rich on all toons but be nice to have an account that all my toons can share the wealth like have a real reason for banks n when u fail a bank job its your money that loses 10% lol

8. why does ww or bm have a charge for everything i didnt know the devs needed that money too lol get rid of that they want to have an itchy finger over the nerf button nerf that devs

9. 1 new power not recycled or reused for every release it will def. keep us busy trying something completely new kinda like crab spiders release we all had 1 or was getting a 50 to try it

10. make lots of new io's some that u can have as many of the same bonus as u can get only they break and work half way when broken like u only get the bonus of set of 2 instead of 6 if it breaks from too many battles and the bonus cuts n half, if it was 2 recovery bonus now its 1 because it broke.

11. Add elementary schools for vets to sign n to teach a noob, for io bonuses noobs sign up to learn n get an i got it badge lol take em around n show them the ropes for a couple of hours like signing onto a tf

12. and last for devs to not just read the ideas from the forums but try them out add they 're own stuff to make it realistic n release it on the game i once read someone saying a whip would be nice sure we have other stuff like it but hey they released earth assault like we havnt seen that why couldnt we got a whip power boring but at least it wouldve been new not recycled and yepp i sure wouldve tried it lol


have fun guys i will never quit prolly will be one of the last on saying on forums look at what u did devs now what our game has no competition we too busy beating up ourselves

As always this is why our game never gets better there are too many guys making excuses for the devs. he is right my opinion his 8 yr old has a bigger imagination im afraid, so what its old content the new content is just as basic lol our devs i think are holding out for that big christmas bonus. The devs need no excuse let them say how they feel maybe we can rest easier and know where we stand, other than dont make them angry they wont make changes or fixes like they have large numbers of peeps loggin n to stand on any of that non sense. We will be out of a game that could have done circles on its competition, and they will be out of a hero job n have to settle for a crappy champion job. If they dont give the babies n the nursery milk n clean diapers well there will be no day-care lol

Answer the cries of millions err thousands lol soon to be hundred n stop releasing who cares content while taking away what makes us love the game

Holy Cow its not just me. Where n the heck is the material that created this awesome game. I agree Sam. We are being cheated. Sure we get updates and bare with me guys i hate typing so i do little of it n hate to do it correctly i type as i think. If they could make all those powers at the introduction of Coh/cov where is this creativity now. I understand those that want more tf's n cities but last i looked n cimeora its always empty practically AE had more traffic not seen n eons. What they do nerf it n chase us out.

Broadcast is more silent for lft n tf joining than ever. Yes maybe we lost peeps to champions online hmm. Is this not a clue to posi to answer some of our cries. Stop indian giving, give us awesomeness and taketh away. Slow with io releases i didnt know making newer better io's was hard. Recycled powers are tired. Sad they know this they are ltao at us grumbling. AE was nerfed because fast lvling and noobs not learning the story didnt know it was a priority some of us just want to have fun. Ask Sam vets who are tired of same ol same ol after two 50's are on your account i think you learned all u gonna want to learn.

Teach a noob dont get mad at em thats why we have sg/vg. All this dag-on running around city to city, just to talk lmao again by 2nd 50 it should auto shut off. We know what those contacts want. Let the noobs help em lol.

Graphics are fine spend more time making at least 3 new not recycled power sets every issue release. I thought thats why we make new toons to try other sets well by now you'd think they understand we tired of the old ones.

All this maintenance but same stupid problems. No please dont say we made a new city for you to enjoy we dont enjoy, make creative missions why we only see snow missions around christmas time. Volcano miss be nice. I dont know we pay for them to think outside the box not basic here u go guys. Ive read all kinds of sweet power set ideas they could use on the forums I guess they think we will sue for a cut lol.

I for one would enjoy to be able to fish not to copy but FF11 had awesome fishing thg not needed be nice thg. Fish for io's of course lol. Market needs an overhaul something serious like at least having the item and a base price.

I am just a vet who wants newer enjoyable content not another irrelevant its part of the story mumbo jumbo. I love the story yeah 3 years ago when i was a still kinda noobish but even noobs grow to become vets while still playing the noob content, aw man sure this is only my 800 time killing same av's,eb's with same ol powers n a diff fashion. I want crab spider ideas not heres earth assault now guys see how u like it. Ive seen better creativity from the forums that seems to ever remain silent n unsung sigh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Waiting to exhale lol. Can u guys either apply for these jobs or them give u 2 months free and 2 rare io's for great ideas and use them.
