  1. I like to play with the option /visscale 4.

A few issues ago I was able to set this for my account and leave it.

    http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Visscale

Hmmm. It appears that the /visscale resets to the whatever the slider is set at every time you logout.

Suggestion: Allow the slider to go to 400% or make an option where you can allow the slider to show up to 400% instead of 200%.

I had /bugged this in-game some time ago, but apparently the forums are the Devs preferred way of bringing bugs to their attention.
  2. Explored FW on Cannonfodder -> Victory, uncovered some of the map. After the first downtime this week, I logged back in and the entire map was fogged. I moved around some to discover a missed plaque and get history badge. Logged back in after the second maintenance this week and it was entirely fogged again.

New character (Codename UB 9-6 -> Victory) in Nova Praetoria uncovered some of the map the first night I played him. Logged him in the next day (no maintenance between) and his NP map was partially unfogged. It looked like another one of my character's maps because it had the badges uncovered and it looks like he swam around the island to get River Rat.

Other characters have had maps re-fogged as well, but I don't recall details as clearly.
  3. C_R: What's the billing date on your second account?

It's clear we got points. It's not clear what formula they used to award points.

    1. Anyone not subscribed in July get the same amount of points?
    2. What amount of points did you get?
    3. Anyone not subscribed in July and August get the same amount of points?
    4. What amount of points did you get?

Based on launch date, I was expecting an 800-1100 point grant (two months with or without VIP bonus). I'm concerned if the wrong amount was given out, because that could impact how points are granted in the future.

If the point grant is working as intended, please just let someone say so and reduce the ambiguity.
  5. I bought Steampunk on beta. No auras.

I don't know the answer to that.

Auras are on the costume creation page of the character creator. They're another element of a costume, same as back and weapons. I don't know why they'd be filtered out/not included.

I'll see if I can test on TR or COHF beta shards or talk to someone on live who has made a purchase and get them to check for me.
  7. Great job Chad, thanks!

    Things I caught:
    • Imperial Defense Hat is under Going Rogue bundle
    • Imperial Defense Shoulders and Defense Pants are not listed as VIP
    • Victorian Steampunk Hair listed under Martial Arts
    • Alpha Aura and Omega Auras should be added to GR:CC
    • All the auras need to be added to costume bundles, looks like.
Going to the List view and sorting things by the drop downs is the best way I've found to catch errors.

In my opinion, with how unready and unhappy I am with the release state of this issue, I'll /bug and /petition every valid little thing I can find.

I've already got reports in on supergroup base emblems being pancaked and fog of war reappearances on cleared and partially cleared maps. I also have an unreported issue with unrewarded badges for Seed of Hamidon defeat, that I'm not sure is valid.
  10. I have an unusual amount of Paragon Points.

Others are reporting similar things here: http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=271586

According to my account on PlayNC, I got 3 x 400 PP on Sept. 13, 2011 (July 28th billing date, August 28th billing date, and ???) and then another 400 PP & 150 PP today (Sept. 14th, 2011).

I also seem to have too many Reward Tokens by 1.

87 month veteran badge (36 tokens), +1 for applying a retail code, +1 for having an account (Rookie) should be 38 but I have 39. My billing date isn't until the 28th, so I shouldn't have the September token yet.

Filed a petition on both incidents. Both escalated to Senior GMs.

Poison Trap: Reduced this power's interrupt time from 4 to 2 seconds. This power now deals minor damage over time, will hold foes instead of put them to sleep and will reduce the affected targets' recovery while they're within the poison gas. This power now accepts Hold enhancements and IO Sets and Damage enhancements and Melee AoE IO Sets and can no longer accept sleep enhancements and IO sets. Additionally, this power no longer has an interrupt time.
Does this power have an interrupt time or not?
  14. The Probability Build

"Do not try to evade my crossbow bolt. Senator, I will sense your plans a heartbeat before you even formulate them, and fire where you are going to be."

This is a build which seeks to reduce the probability factors in the game (Accuracy and Defense) to a minimum. It is a concept loosely based off of Marvel's Destiny character and the fighting style of Alice from the Twilight series.

Without click powers or procs, it has:
    • +37.7% ToHit
    • +51.9% Accuracy
    • 55.87% Melee Def
    • 45.07% Ranged Def
    • 45.38% AoE Def
My main attack is Dominate on autofire and Poison Dart for ST ranged damage, with Dart Burst and Psychic Scream used as alternating ranged cones. I've found the mix of psychic, lethal and toxic DoT damage with elements of -regeneration, -recharge and an autofire hold every 4-6 seconds to be very effective. I casually play using only the two ST ranged and two ranged cones.

Another frequent tactic is to leap into the middle of a mob, pop Aim, Spin from Hidden (for critical), then Psychic Wail, jump out, and then use the cones and ST to finish off the group. I took Lunge as the highest ST melee attack to use with Mask Presence for criticals. You can use Psychic Wail+Boxing+Brawl to stack the Disorient effect, but I have not found a use for this tactic, though I built for it.

    Incarnate choices:
    • Nerve augments Accuracy and Defense which are cornerstones of the build. More Hold duration is nice, since Dominate is slotted for damage.
    • Ion represents "knowing where lightning will strike" with a chance for hold stacking and additional debuffing with -end and -recovery.
    • Diamagnetic stacks -tohit (which augments defense) and the -regeneration stacks with other -regeneration powers chosen.
    • Seers can summon two allies that both have a Hold power that can stack with your own Dominate.
I was extremely pleased with performance on Incarnate trials prior to gaining any incarnate abilities. Having super-hyped Accuracy and +ToHit and already being nearly soft-capped vs. level 54s (with Mind Link) contributed to success and survivability.

    This.

I bought some things on beta just to see if they could be bought. and would transact correctly or I wanted to see them in my inventory so I could get better descriptions and images and such.
  16. Sweet. Stylish updated! After a few days of default ugly I am so glad for the Zombie skin!
  17. Stylish doesn't support my latest Firefox update. I miss my skin. I am a sad skinless panda.

I'm considering rolling back the update to Firefox for just this reason.

    Curse you Mozilla!!!
  18. I agree that the enhancement trays seem overpriced. I understand the game-balance concern of easily allowing too much storage and how that can negatively effect the in-game economy. I see 800 to 1200 being more reasonable, but still expensive.

Vault storage space (currently priced at 400 for 5 slots) is actually one of the things I'm looking forward to the most. I start collecting salvage for level 50 builds once a character reaches 26. Instead of having to put some salvage in the vault, and some stacks in the AH, I can now just vault all or most of it. Paragon Reward levels and the new purchasable vault space will allow me to increase my vault space by +50 (+20 VIP/+30 purchased) for a total of 100 at level 50.
  19. I guess the COH equivalent example to selling power might be selling access to the enhancement screen and system.
  20. An interesting look at micro-transaction models, especially as it applies to the upcoming COHF.

    http://www.escapistmagazine.com/vide...rotransactions
  21. The command you're looking for is powexecname [power].

An example of what you want might be:

    button4 "powexecname Aura of Confusion"

Pressing button4 toggles it on if it's off or off if it's on.

If I read your message more carefully, it almost sounds like you are interested in binding a mouse-click to a key press or making a macro that acts like a mouse-click.

Unfortunately, afaik, you can't do this. For quite some time a few years ago I tried to figure out a way to 'reassign' the joystick triggers, so I could access 'more keys' for keybinding. DirectX isn't set up to allow this.

    Does this help?
