It's not bad, though if you plan on doing pure human, I would probably try to work in Essence Drain. Maybe by losing starless step or nebulous form, and switching some slots around. Hard targets will be tough on you, otherwise.
Quasar might be a bad idea as well, since you have all the toggles to deal with after crashing. You may want to look into getting the presence pool to keep fire off of your fluffies, so you can keep up their DPS better.
I'd also recommend Absolute Amazment on your stun cannon. It's not too expensive of a purple set, if price is an issue.
There are a few other changes I would make, but let's see what you think of those first (and see what others think) -
Quote:Frankly, since the whole problem you are having revolves around a barrier put into place to block griefers, and the solution to your "problem" is only a minimal investment into the game, I can't see how the dev team will care about losing someone who is not planning on paying. The email method should be more than enough of a workaround, not to mention that with careful slotting there really shouldn't be too bad of a enhancement shortage. Furthermore, the early game is NOT based around SO enhancements. You can go from 1-20 with nothing slotted at all, and 20-30 with just DOs. I've done it, and still do, to save money. For those of you who are trying to compare your experience rationally to the experience of people we are trying to market to in today's game market, please take a moment to consider carefully. You are hardcore gamers. By my definition. You have been in the cities for the whole time. We are trying to get those people who started when you did. AND QUIT. Quit because the game made things way harder than it needed to be to play at the basic level. I am not talking about soloing AVs, or even soloing story arcs on +0/x1. I am talking about having the very basic stuff the Devs say the game was based around. Look around at the gaming world, people expect that. If you do not meet your customer's expectations THEY LEAVE. They do not write a e-mail like this, or post to the boards, they just stop playing your game and go play somebody elses where they have fun and can succeed.
No, you're specifically ignoring the reasons why such methods exist and complaining you want it your way. -
Was this before the Cyst nerf? I recall them being a challenge a long time ago, but as they are now they're only somewhat amusing in difficulty. (Totally agree on the silly placement part though.)

Ninja/Beast Run allowed me to forgo travels on most of my characters, in turn letting me pick a power I would have otherwise been forced to skip and making my build that much better. But yeah, no, a lieutenant wolf pet is totally pay to win.

Quote:You wanted to know why this system was set up the way it was, did you not?Wow Obsidius, work with me here. I am seriously not wanting to let this be threadjacked into a RMT thread. I never brought it up, you are the second person to.
4) I have never advocated any kind of fix that would allow RMT or favor RMT
Quote:2) Did the Devs turn off their grey matter when they set this up? Yes, I know they are trying to get people to spend cash on the game.
As Obsidius said, we had to live with those prices for quite a long time before the auction house came into being. Sure, it sucks getting knocked back to the stone age (as it were) in terms of being limited in money earning potential, but them's the breaks when it comes to making sure the system is safe from those who would abuse it. -
I've read somewhere on these forums once (I believe it was based on Arcanavilles math, but I could be wrong) that, functionally speaking, every 1% of defense you have is roughly equal to 3% resistance. Or something like that. In other words, defense is more valuable and provides more mitigation. However, layered defenses is usually the best way to go, if you can.

I had planned on adding a Street Justice event to the calendar, but upon further reflection, I do not think I will make it an official event. I may run it on Sunday in the afternoon if I get enough interested parties, though.

It was kind of insulting to get a common for each run.
We didn't do half bad though, eh? -

A smooth run, Kheldians!
And talk about invisibilty on the brain, Abe was busy talking about it while we took a screenshot! After the Tin Mage, we infused some kheldian flavored awesome into Kyo's BAF runs. But that's another story.
Next week is something lower level, for those who need to work on their kheldians. -

I spawned the Easter egg boss last night, just to check him out. It was neat how they included him into the trial, but...the boss itself was kind of lackluster. I won't describe it so as not to spoil it for those who haven't done it yet, but I was disappointed. I'm glad I experienced it, though. This game could do with a few more secrets like that.

Nibbling on Atlas's ankles! And infecting the newbs!

Quote:Ah, so now we know why you're so crazy!I survived Stalemate's Shadow Shard TF marathon a few years ago (and there are a couple people I have to be friends with for the rest of my life because of it; they know too much now).
Well, it sounds like the certain brand of crazy my scrapper loves, I may have to take you up on this challenge.

As Four said, Voids and Quantums are indeed part of the lore. And the lore makes sense, as much as any lore makes sense. I can also agree that, in many instances, the Quantum and Void spawns make no sense at all and should be removed.
If I were to decide such matters, I would limit Void spawns to certain Council/Kheldian related story arcs, and limit quantums similarly.
In regards to your post, Crysys, while I made that last post mainly for the lulz, it had merit. You can't really come to the kheldian forums and say, "Hey, I think the AT you guys like to play sucks and makes no sense," and expect others to agree with you. Your post was your opinion. You are entitled to it. As we are entitled to disagree, and subtly mock when you base your opinion on falsehoods. Incidentally, you may want to remember that a different dev team made the HEATs. -
I noticed this too, though I had just put it down to taking a level in awesome. I hope it's intentional, because it makes them a lot less obnoxious.

Tough crowd, eh Abe? So, next time, try it with only envenomed daggers and inspirations.
(I still think it's pretty impressive for a non debuffer to take a GM down, Lore pets or no.) -
Quote:Why does an arrow with a grenade attached to it, that explodes on contact, do less damage than a plain arrow?Anyone else have a list of CoH head scratchers? Stuff that just makes you say, "hey, wait a minute."
How do I miss hitting an inanimate object from point blank range?
Why am I unable to jump through the submarine hatch while it's open?
Why do common street thugs congregate around city hall (You know, the place in Atlas where all the heroes hang out) robbing people in broad daylight?
Why don't they finally get around to making more police drones?
How, exactly, does a claws scrapper go about arresting targets without fatalities?
Why do all the signature heroes leave all the real work to us? -
Unless you want the base DPS, you'd need to provide us with your build or how you plan on slotting those attacks. It's somewhat difficult to calculate anything without numbers.

The Maelstrom one can be annoying if you happen to miss the NPC chat the first time around, though it's not the worst in my eyes. I refuse to do the "Save Black Panther 952" mission. Waiting through almost 10 minutes of Malta ambushes? No thanks.

Quote:You get free points as part of your subscription. You can save those points to buy whatever you want without spending a dime past your subscription fee. If you can't control your own patience in an effort to buy new stuff that otherwise wouldn't exist because of this new hybrid model, you get to pay for it. Contrary to popular belief, this game is a business.Even if you give them everything, you lose nothing. They pay every month to keep access to the new goodies you continue to give them. Yet you expect people to pay monthly and then pay more on top of that for content that used to be included?
A business (also known as enterprise or firm) is an organization engaged in the trade of goods, services, or both to consumers. Businesses are predominant in capitalist economies, where most of them are privately owned and administered to earn profit to increase the wealth of their owners.
