  3. Run across a skiing bug and a couple other in my sg have as well.

    If you enter a mission or zone out of Pocket D while your ski counter is still going you will be unable to ski again. It will not start your timer when you go through the first gate. This persists through a logoff and login.

    The fix seems to be you go ahead and start the run like normal. And even though it doesn't start, it technically does start. You hit all the gates and get a "run complete" message. Then you can re-ski like normal.

    Sitting afk for 2 hours while you wait for the next ambush (placed at 30 year intervals for your safety!!) is extremely annoying, tedious, and a huge waste of time.

    When the hero respec was first on test, it was nail-bitingly tough. It was also fun. You could barely keep up with the spawns unless you used a lot of teamwork. But it was too hard for some so it got nerfed to the snorefest it is today.

    which, of course, they had to do as it never made sense to make a respec trial that requires teamwork and good builds in order to earn the right to respec your possible crappy build.

    True, but I wish they would speed up the spawns on the second the third one. Even the crappiest teams I've been on have had no problems keeping up.

    Yeah it'd be nice if they could tweak it to "max 3 min between waves" like it currently is, but if you clear a wave in less than 2.5 minutes, the next wave would spawn in 30 sec no matter what. It's so boring the way it is.

    Yes it was hard when it came out, so was the cape mission. Now they're both pretty much a joke. In typical fashion the devs go one way too far or the other. Kinda like the GMs that people have mentioned in this thread. When's the last time anyone even thought about taking out Lusca?

    Well considering the devs idea of "holiday" missions is having to kill Snaptooth 5 times in a row... no thanks. This is honestly less monotonous than that. There's at least some surprise what you might get when you click, and having a full team of 8 chattering can make the time pass quickly and be fun.
  9. Good to hear the lag is being looked at. PI was so crowded tonight. My Phantom Army was recharged before they disappeared, yet was not even close to being recharged. Some wacky stuff going on with powers and even doors. Got some clicks that said trick but then nothing came out of the doors.

    Also, yeah saw the part about teleporting to the Ouroboros Citadel. So, is that a new zone? Co-op but without teaming? Surely they wouldn't make two different citadels for heroes and villains.

    Yes, but remember, we're getting NEW missions and possibly arcs as well -- help Recluse take the Rogue Isles, stop the COT demon from the comics, etc.

    If so, that means we may also be taking on missions from the alt-timeline Paragon Times as well. I mean, they wouldn't talk about "Recluse and Manticore searching for something in South America" if it wasn't gonna tie into the game, somehow.

    Therefore, it's conceivable we may get a "Go back in time to help someone break out of the Zig" where Jailbird is available, or "Go to the alt timeline and contain the massive amounts of Contaminated in Talos" to get Isolator.

    Let's hope. I did miss Jailbird with my first villain and didn't know until level 14. But with them putting out the fake stories about no one ever breaking out of the zig and contaminated not being contained in outbreak, it seems likely that there will be some missions setting things back on track. Whether they are kind enough to put in the exploration badges or the right kind of contaminated enemies to count for the badge... well, time will tell. But at least there's a possibility.

    Awesome reading. My SG is on session 6 or so of a SuperTeam. It's quite a bit of fun, but I hope we can keep it together for enough sessions to make 50. We have done builds heavily dependent on each other, having Kins so no one takes stamina, and things like that. Stacked maneuvers and tactics. Makes things interesting.

    Amazing that you have stuck together all the way through heroes AND villains. Good sg/vg.

    1) It seems the contaminated will filter in small groups around select zones in both sides of CoX. Thus making the badge attainable for past heroes who did not have the opportunity for it and for villains to now attain it. (i.e. City Sewers, hanging out with Lost...and "heading to Sharkhead Isles")

    2) Maybe the loss of contacts means there is an overhaul to the contact system in CoH to make it more streamlined, like CoV.
