  1. hmmm, its a 50/50 likey/hatey, I dont know what to say to be honest.... how about you can purchase them but with a months wait for the next one available for purchase otherwise you could just get everything you want in around half an hour
  2. Ok... heres the idea, alot of people are kinda impatient when it comes to veteran rewards, so what if you can purchase your next one and thus eliminating the 3 months waiting time.

Although this will only gain you its content, not the badge or the actual playing time until the 3 months has come

of course it would be cheap, maybe the same cost as the 30 day jet pack? i dunno, either way, we get our stuff with no wait, NC gets some money, its a win/win right?
  3. Statesman_4_Prez

    More cars?

hmmmm.... maybe just maybe they all car share... or are too scared to drive with a bunch of power flinging spandex guys leaping around on the streets....

also, have you noticed that the cars dont stop for whatever reason? its kinda like "Theres a strange man with an axe on the road, lets carry on and see if he doesnt notice us *LOUD ENGINE NOISES*"
  4. Poison for heroes under a new name huh? well lets think what kinda goes with it.... I'd say either Alchemy or Chemicals

oh and can we get Poison for corruptors too? I have an idea for a mad scientist themes if that would be implemented
  5. simple as, can I get all these new mac special edition goodies for my acount for the PC? ive seen it on the NC store downloads but It does not say much infomation about PC accounts and if they can get this special stuff.
  6. it isnt posible to implement wall crawl or jump into the game sadly

    >_<
  7. 4. free Spirit, bonus to run and jump speed and melee ranged enemies nearby get knockdown

    something like that...
  8. Throw the Dual Pistols Idea in it too, then maybe we can cut down how many times people post it by a bit
  9. They put quivers on Genins and Wyvern, so it wont be hard to implement that into the game, on the other hand sheathes may be quite hard yet...
  10. Can someone actually set up a post for people currently looking for an SG, a post like this one with details such as name, origin, archetype and basic info.

I know i cant do his because I'm not good at creating organised and creative posts

This would be much appreciated in the Roleplayers forum and i do hope that if you choose to take this task I wish you good luck and hope it becomes a sticky

  12. I just think we can do more work with it, there more things that can be manipulated into the set, And I was trying to include some powers that the Jounins have into the set along side some that go Ideal with squishy henchmen and thier buff troubles
  13. Not much of a proliferation as a new powerset, Ninjitsu for masterminds as a secondary powerset, its mainly a mix of the Kuji-In powers of ninjitsu and a few traps mixed with some pet abilities.

    1) Kuji-In Sha (AoE Heal, res toxic)
you invoke the power of sha (or healing) and with it you heal yourself and your nearby allies and gives a bonus to toxic resistance

    2) Caltrops (AoE minor lethal damage, slow)
You toss a handful of Caltrops at a targeted location and spread the tiny metal spikes over a large area. Any enemy that passes over the Caltrops will be forced to move at a slower rate. They will also take some trivial lethal damage over time.

    3) Kuji-In Kai (AoE res ranged, aoe and cone)
You tap into the power of Kai (or danger senses) to allow you and your allies the ability to dodge incomind ranged, cone and AoE attacks for a duration

    4) Blinding Powder (cone -Accuracy, Sleep -Perception)
You throw a handful of Blinding powder in a wide arc at your foes. Most foes will be blinded, and unable to see. Some affected targets may be overcome by the powder that they may start attacking their own allies. If you attack the blinded foes, they will be alerted to your presence, but will continue to suffer a penalty to accuracy.

    5) Kuji-In Toh (ally Resist Disorientation, Hold, Sleep, Immobilization, Fear, Confusion, +Perception)
You channel the power of Toh (or harmony) to clear your allies mind from holding or debuff effects and leaves them with a resistance to Disorientation, Hold, Sleep, Immobilization, Fear and Confusion.

    6) Venom Dart (ranged minor lethal/toxic dot, slow/sleep -Res)
you throw a small dart laced with a special poison that will affect the targets immune system draining them of thier resistances and slows them down, there is also a chance they may fall asleep if sucessful

    7) Kuji-in Zai (Ally +Jump Hight, +Res Fire, Ice, energy, neg energy)
You summon the power of Zai ( or Sky and Elements) to allow your allies to leap great distances on the wind while protecting them from elemental assaults for a small duration

    8) Trip Mine (targeted AoE, Extreme Fire/Smashing, knockback)
You can place a Trip Mine on the ground. Any foes that pass near the Trip Mine will cause it to explode, severely damaging all nearby foes and sending them flying. The Trip Mine is almost impossible to detect, but it is fragile and may be set off by an enemy's explosion. Even if destroyed, the Trip Mine will detonate. Setting a mine is delicate work, and if you are interrupted, you will fail.

    9) Kuji-In Retsu (Pet +Defense, +Speed, +Recovery, +Resistance)
Kuji-In Retsu is the mastery of space and time. Focusing your power on Retsu enables your henchmen to channel this power to fenominal effect allowing them to move faster and speed up thier recovery while also giving them defense and resistance bonuses
  14. Heres an Idea, how about at the maximum upgraded state, masterminds henchmen gain an extra aura/armour power (thats set as an auto power instead of toggle) from powersets already in the game, I was thinking....

    MERENARIES
Soldier - Flack Jacket (Munitions Mastery)
    Spec-Ops - Dodge (Super Reflexes)
    Commando - Evasion (Super Reflexes)

    NECROMANCY
Zombies - Dark Embrace (Dark Armour)
Grave Knight - Deflection (Shield Defense)
Lich - Obsidian Shield (Dark Armour)

    THUGS
Thugs - High Pain Tolerance (Willpower)
    Enforcers - Hightened Senses (Willpower)
    Bruiser - Tough (Fighting)

    ROBOTICS
Battle Drones - Resist Physical Damage (Invulnerability)
    Protector Bots - Unlielding (Invulnerability)
Assault Bot - Tough Hide (Invulnerability)

    NINJAS
    Genin - Ninja Reflexes (Ninjitsu)
    Jounin - Danger Sense (Ninjitsu)
Oni - Fire Shield (Fiery Aura)
  15. I would say theyre fairly rare, usually only in alleyways or in wrecked areas you will find one there, and they will respawn every half hour more or less.
  16. Heres the Idea, there are random small objects on the street in the form of a glowie, when clicked on they dissapear and give you a on euse only temp power depending on the type of object.

Its much like the Christmas presents you see laying around during the winter event but instead of an inspiration its a temp power, heres some examples of what I had in mind...

Large objects like boulders and crates are thrown much like the hurl power and all have a high damage knockback

Long objects like pipes and bats are melee like the baseball bat temp power from the BM/Wentworths and have moderate ranged knockdown damage

Small objects like stones and bottles are thrown like the halloween event power and give minor ranged disorient damage

Circular weapons like Trash can lids and life rings are thrown like shurikens and give moderate cone knockback damage

there are probably many other possibilities, feel free to add some if you like. Only one object that is picked up may be carried at a time, once used you can then find another.
  17. besides all this the Frequent suggestions - PLEASE READ post says that cars aint gonna happen
  18. most of this stuff is irrelevent to a heroes or villains life, the fact theyde have to pay taxes is realistic, but nobody wants to log on to find that a heap of thier influence/infamy is gone

the fact that sometimes couples play this game eliminates the loving 'spouse' and the fact you play as a civillian is a bit dull, if i wanted to do that I'd play GTA 4

for the reasons above I hensforth /unsign

    Team Names

Sounds good to me, Is it the leaders choice of team name or group decision?

    Either way /Signed
  20. oh, didnt spot them, well just the hazard zone jobs then
  21. Ive been playing issue 13 in the training room and I have notices there are no day jobs for PvP or Hazard Zones so I have came up with a few and the appropriate boosts

    Hazard
Hollows - Troll Task Forcer - Accuracy Boost
Boomtown - Salvager - Rangom Natural salvage gained
Perez Park - Park Ranger - Perception Boost
Striga Isle - Coastguard - Defense Bonus
Dark Astoria - Witchhunter - Random magic salvage gained
Firebase Zulu - Astonaut - Jump Hight boost
Cascade Archipelago - Dimensional Explorer - random science salvage gained
The Chantry - Intergalactic Defender - Defense to energy boost
Crey's Folly - Sewage worker - Resistance to Toxic boost
Monster Island - Beastkeeper - Damage Boost

    PVP
Bloody Bay - Meteorologist - Speed Boost
    Rucluse's Victory - Soldier - Damage Boost
Sirens Call - Bounty Hunter - Influence/Infamy Boost
Warburg - Rocket Scientist - Random Tech salvage gained
  22. I read in the paragonwiki a while back that Broadswords could be in issue 13 for villains, now its changed to that theyre not, why arent they being proliferated for brutes and/or scrappers?
  23. Ive noticed that most of the villains Buff powers are powers not abilities, and if not you have to rely on devices. So I have came up with a powerset thats available to Corruptors, Masterminds and defenders

    Commandment

    1) Encourage (Ally +Strength, resist Fear)
you encourage a nearby ally giving him the willpower to fight and resist fear
    2) Battle Plan (AoE Ally/Self resist AoE, Ranged and Cone)
You Share tactics and preform group teamwork to overcome ranged, cone and AoE attacks
    3) Alliance (AoE Ally/Self resist AoE, Cone and Chain, special)
You and your nearby allies fight as a team and each time you are hit with an AoE, Cone or chain attack you share out the damage, a bonus to resistance is given for every nearby teammate.
    4) Outnumber (AoE Ally/Self, ranged foe fear, Special)
You outnember your enemies making them fear your presence, every teammate nearby gains an aura of fear, fear is incresed when teammates are close by
    5) Tactical Technique (ally +ACC, +perception, res debuff)
You Create a tactical technique that will give teammates the knowledge to strike more precisley and detect stealthy enemies while giving resistance to debuffs
    6) Overcome pain (Ally Heal, +resist DoT +Regen Health)
You Inspire a teammate to continue on battle after damage is dealt to them, this gives them a health and regeneration boost and the ability to resist Damage over time
    7) Battle Charge (AoE Ally/Self +Speed +Damage +Res all but Psi +regen End)
You begin a short battle charge that allows nearby teammates a quick boost to damage, speed and endurance recovery while ignoring incoming damage
    8) Will to Continue (ally Ressurect, special)
You Encourage an ally to continue the fight when they have fallen in battle and raise them to half health and endurance
    9) Force Back (aoE ally/self, foe fear, knockback)
You preform the manuever of forcing foes back, you and your allies can distill fear in an enemy from afar and knock foes back for a limited time
