  1. We have weapon customisation, shield customisation, power costomisation and animation customisation. All that remains are the Gadget like powers... so I suggest that we have payload customisation, the ability to change the type and colour of any projectile object. Here are something we could do...

    Lesser Customisations: (ammunition)
    1) Assault Rifles M30 grenade (and soldiers variety of grenades) can be changed into cannisters, bombs, charges ect.
    2) All arrow models for Archery/Trick arrow can be changed to look wooden or other types of arrow
    3) Assault Rifle/Munitions mastery Flamethrower/Ignite/Cryo ray can be colour tinted

    Greater Customisation: (devices)
    1) Traps/Devices have the ability to change the appearance and colour of all the gadget models that are projectile and not passive (such as targeting drone)
    2) Some powers have colour tintable features such as Poison Trap, Acid Mortar, Targeting drone and taser
    3) Weapons mastery shurikens and other weapons like them (like caltrops) can be changed in model only

    With this in mind I have some examples, the ability to change Trip Mines and Time bombs to look like Satchel Charges, C4, TNT or fuse bombs while grenade type projectiles could be Dynamite, Bombs, cannisters or classic military grenades.

    This post may be awkward to coprehend in many ways, but I'm sure that you can see the picture and what I'm trying to get at: Gadget/Ammo -> Model -> colours
  2. How about for a veteran award, an attack style pet since we already have non-combat and defense, these pets have one power only (apart from flight) but since they may be a cause of aggro have double the HP of the Defense pet. heres what i had in mind:

    Science - Shivan Meteorite - Neutrino Bolt (radiation blast)
    Magic - Obsidian Rune - Dark Blast (dark blast)
    Mutation - Mutagen Spore - Spit Acid ('hydra' enemy power)
    Technology - Assault Drone - Power Bolt (energy blast)
    Natural - Micro Turret - Burst (assault rifle)

Ive realised that pool powers arent covered in the power colouring feature, I suggest that we make it possible to change the colours of Teleport, Superspeed, Concealment, Medicine and Leadership powers. Mainly Teleoport and Superspeed as teleport looks as if it can be colour changed, hence warshades, and superspeeds feet and hand auras can be couloured also.

    Poison Corruptor

    Poison definatley needs to be used outside of masterminds. And the only other archetype that could suitibly use it is corruptors. It is a really useful powerset but used by a mastermind makes some of the powers hard to juggle for use on both teams and pets which require different things of this powerset.

    The last power of which will have to be changed (for corruptors) as it is a MM use only power. so what about turning it into an AoE hold(choke) and blind power that is capable of being ignited like the oil slick arrow?
  5. wait wait wait....demon summoning is already in game, the oni? if they bring out demon summoning, doesnt that make the oni redundant?

    anyway, if demon summoning come out, can they get rid of oni and replace it with an actual 'ninja'?
  6. as I remember there used to rally good animations for MA, but then they got scrapped meaning that its possible to change the animations again and to whatever possible.

The 2 new characters in going rogue feature Demon Summoning and dual pistols, that was the first hint towards that those powers would be seen in GR. but lets play fair guys, the devs are up to thier necks in work for GR that they have miniscule time to create big issues otherwise theyde make less progress in any of the 3 games all together.

    and be grateful, power colours first then Dual pistols, one frequently nagged subject at a time

    Cross-SG's

    with the going rogue game 'expansion' coming up, maybe we can intergrate both hero, villain and rogue SG's when its released? that way when you cross over you remain in your supergroup or you may invite the opposite to your morality into an SG, I see some flaws that may occur such as hero only SG's and such, but I propose to stop this there should be a setting such as "heroes only" where if a member crosses, he must quit his SG.

    With this, villains, heroes and rogues will not have to meet in Pocket D or and High level Friendly zones to meet up. Oh and Hero portals for heroes, no zone crossing.

    New Auras:

    basically some new auras that I'd like to see put in game:

    Liquid light (small drips of colourable liquid)
    Liquid Heavy (coloured liquid pouring out of parts of the body)
    Waves (frequency waves radiating off the character)
    Wind (basically a small tornado like aura)
    Sparks (electric like off robots like clockwork)
    haze (kind of when you look at a gas leak, the warp in visability you see)
    metalic shine (basically glimmers will come off your limbs randomly)

    If you can think of any more, please add them
  10. For Knights, we have the valkyrie bonus pack. For ninjas we have almost anything the tsoo has. for pirates they have the hook, wooden leg, 3 hats, eye patches EVERYTHING. for animals we have a very wide variety of legs, tails and heads.

    ....but for making a spec ops/SWAT all we have is 2 helmets. a jacket and a pair of trousers, not really much considering paragon city has the most advanced technology in the world to use on thier armed services.

    3) any sort of vehicular based transport/powers arent going to be implemented in game as everybody knows...

    Yes, I know most peole in this arent police and mercs, but there are many people that can easily make a martial artist, ninja, knight or street thug from everything else that has been implemented in game so far.

    but you gotta look at the mercs outfits and say "damn, i want those costume add ons" or at the swat and say "why cant we look like that? every other costume piece is available!"
  14. since all the super boosters are covering an origin, magic and tech gone, science coming up and mutation in progress then that leaves natural. heres my idea;

    COSTUME PIECES:
    1) All the Mastermind Mercenaries Items (mainly the commando jacket, spec-ops backpack and soldier side pouch)
    2) all the PPD SWAT suits (ranging from normal to grenadier)

    COSTUME CHANGE EMOTES:
    1) Manhole (jump into a manhole and out again as new costume)
    2) Military (ascend a rope lader and decend like Spec-Ops with new costume)
    3) Smoke Bomb (basically like the power "smoke flash" only you change costume)

    EMOTES:
    1) Blueprints
    2) Communicate (like what you do when you summon soldiers)
    3) Weld (what scrapyarders do)
    4) Weldlow

    POWER:
    Radio Help:
    You radio for help and by doing so your target may be attacked by one of the following:

    Small Missile Strike:
    Targeted AoE Smashing/Fire damage knockback, disorient

    Smoke Grenades:
    Targeted AoE Blind, -Perception, Confuse

    Sleep Gas:
    Targeted AoE Sleep, hold (choke) -Damage, -ToHit

  16. The game is set to a "comic book" feel, speech and thaught bubbles are set there to stay. if they wanted real voice acting and/or players to speak they would have implemented that at the start of the game.

    Besides, trying to configure the game to add speech in will be really difficult to start with.

    Stoney assault, dominator secondary set that is the match up to the earth control set. based on the legacy chain earth enemies, stone melee set and various other powers I made a new powerset.

    Personally, I think this set is much needed for dominators as it both adds a matching stone powerset in the game, and adds a new smashing damage based powerset with disorient side effects.

    thing is, they did it with villains from heroes blue/purple to villains red/pink, and with energy powers for corruptors, so if it was possible then, why not now?

    I'm not sure if they can, i was thinking along the lines of rise to the challange in the willpower set, which has a system for X amount of enemies = X amound of bonus.

    I suppose the damage thing could be only a low amount, just to set the power to its "theme" but with the powerset over all it will remove the "squishy" factor
  22. something CoV needs, a secondary thats more human based, not devices or powers, say something like "Command" heres what I think it could be like:

    COMMAND - you were born a natural leader, through your voice and actions others have followed you to do whatever task you wish without hesitation and will follow you until thier service is done.

    Powers:
    1) Group Effort - (AoE +Perception +Res psi +DMG toggle)
    You and your team mates put in a group effort to overcome the odds of battle and put an all out assault on your enemies

    2) Endurance - (ally +HP regen +END regen +Res all)
    you encourage an ally to carry on into battle dispite thier physical or mental status thus making them regenerate faster and resisting a small part of damage

    3) Inspiration - (auto Pets +special +DMG)
    Your henchmen see you in battle and are inpired by your willpower and strength, for each part of damage you deal your henchmens damage dealing capabilities increase

    4) Outnumber - (toggle AoE +DMG +Acc +Perception +special)
    depemnding on how many henchmen and allies you have, your capabilities for outnumbering enemies will increase thus boosting yours and others damage, accuracy and perception.

    5) Convert - (Enemy Confuse -DMG)
    your natural leadership has lead many to be the best, making a single foe seem worthless until you tell him he can fight for a better cause, your cause. you confuse an enemy into attacking his allies for a small duration but he may hesitate so lowering his damage.

    6) Favour - (click Pet +DMG +ACC +Def +Res all)
    you favour one of your henchmen encouraging him that he is the best making his willpower outstanding for a short while, he will become battle crazed and become better skilled than his otheres until this power has ended.

    7) Shout of Command - (ally +Res hold .ect (much like a break free))
    You stop an ally from being held or otherwise in a captured status, you lead them out of the status and they will be able to resist it happening again the next time.

    8) Intimidation - (AoE enemy fear AoE +special)
    the amount of allies and henchmen you have with you scares the opposition, depending on the total number of your allies and henchmen around as a group the fear will rise.

    9) Unmatchable Teamwork - (AoE +DMG +res all +speed +jump hight +Perception + accuracy + ToHit toggle)
    through your training and command your henchmen and you work as a unity, when in range your henchmen will earn a bonus to thier movement, damage and accuracy.

    If you guys can think of anything else interesting to put in be my guest, and I was also thinking this could be modified into a controller secondary through prolification.

    oh and is this a free issue, downloadable content or a new game disc?

    I may be getting my hopes up a bit but if its a new game (as villains once was) do we get new archetypes and powers!?
  24. ok, I think we all missed my previos post. TRAIL versions for playing with them before you get them, mainly for testing or for a bit of fun

    go back to page 3 and revise, then you'll get the info you need rather than rambling on and on and on and on and on and on....

  25. ok then from all the feedback Ive given it some thaught:

    you can purchase only your next reward thats coming up, but only for a 30 month trail, like test before you get and which would or wouldnt work with your character before you make the wrong choice (pets, powers ect)

    no badge included or the ability to purchase the next one after it until the real veteran reward arives
