  1. Actually very interesting stuff there. Thanks!
  2. Nice Turbo! I just purchased the same unit for myself for the holidays! I like it.
  3. I think it's a great piece! Enjoy it!
  4. Jack_O_Clubs is correct - thank you.
  5. When doing gold you could consider the more reflective metallic costume pieces if you have them on this toon.
  6. I like it but I would tweek it. I would remove the belt completely and darken the main blue inthe costume so you could make the chest emblem gradiant outward to the lock pattern. Could make a nice effect.
  7. Hiya G!! Looks great overall amigo! I have 2 comments:

I'm not connecting to a reason for having a jacket over armor. It might be because I view the enforcer set as armor.

I would make the primary shoulder color black to match the jacket and contrast the arms.
  8. All too good to choose really. You should go with your gut.
  9. Very nice! I assume the name of your SG is Birds of Prey. Question - How does the Marvel logo tie in to your SG?
  10. Thanks all! Much appreciated! Can't wait to get a tablet now. Man, this is going to take away from my CoX time!

LJ/Dandy - Thank you for this post and for posting Juggy's tutorial!

I use it, but I'm not schooled in Photoshop at all - just what I have learned on my own. Juggy's brief tutorial just got me started on my first digital coloring attempt! This is exciting!

I know its my first attempt and just started, but what do you think? I got right into it on an existing sketch I had. I realize I'm going to have to clean up my pencils.

Well, dedicating the time to work on this was a hurdle, but I finally have something to update and would welcome your comments on my first digital effort.

I started pricing a digital pen/tablet. I'm looking at a Intuos3 from Wacom. Never used one before but it has to be easier than a mouse.

Here is an idea I'm working on and it happens to have similar colors. I went black and light tan, using red as accents.

    Looks cool, whats the character?

BTW im from New York too (yeah I know it's irrelevant hehe)

Nice toon! I love the belt... as an ex-NYker trapped in Canada with his one true love, I'd kill for a decent hotdog... and the ability to order Chinese food at all hours of the night. Oh and don't get me started on their pizza, or lack there of...

    Thanks much!!

PowerCrisis - I randomly chose powers to work on the costume. This will be a new costume for one of my existing toons. A cosmic Grav/Fire Dominator named Volquest

LJ - You definitely can't beat the convenience of NY or certain foods that's for sure! Although, I sure would like to beat the traffic - I bet you don't miss that

  14. Nice LJ - Can't wait to see the finished piece!
  15. Very well done Juggs! I would consider joining just to be in this line-up of yours!
  16. I cannot tell what face you are using but Here's something for your consideration. It almost looks like the suit is powered to me. I removed the chin armor in far right shot for optional look.

    My new look!

MM - If you want a metallic gold look you can always use the Tights Sleek option. It helps.
