Plasma Stream by Rizerax

I asked for a piece after seeing Riz art when she first appeared on the forums. I have had a lot of very awesome art done by some of the best we have (Graver, Juggy, Dark Jedi, LJ, McKinney, celtic and more). In all those pieces, I had asked for a particular type of view of plasma, which was usually post combat, post apocalyptic or just overall a very serious and dour Plas.

There's few things that bring a smile to her face and one of them is the joy of interstellar flight and this is what Riz brought to life.

I like the pretty colors...no I'm not high on anything...stop staring at me like that...

I'm very glad I could bring that emotion to life. I had a lot of fun working on this picture, especially the background. I based it off of some pictures of the Eagle Nebula, and yes the pretty colors were fun .

Nice . I like your no fear effort to do the lighting and reflections on the face from having glowing eyes. I don't think I've ever seen someone try to work that in before, and it is cool .

It never made much sense to me for the highlights to *not* be there. It just was more logical that glowie eyes emit light, and there is no way that light doesn't reflect off the rest of the face.

Besides, I think special effects like that are a lot of fun to draw.

I am rather happy with how this one turned out and I have to say for those looking Riz is someone worth checking out and was a pleasure to work with. =)
