I'm just trying to visualize this cannonball flying and bouncing all over this neighbourhood since it apparently flew through houses and walls while not making enough sound to wake a sleeping family then across a highway and into a vehicle. Sure, why not. Especially the part where the family doesn't hear it and wake up? It broke down your door, rolled UP your stairs and shot out of another wall and you didn't hear that?

I ended up going with WP/TW, although with these lame things called 'final exams' I likely won't have a ton of time to level up Samurhinoceros over the next week and a half. Still, made it to level 8 and am very impressed by the set so far. Best Tier 1 attack ever: 10' range, 120 degree arc, -20% res, +15% Melee/Smashing def.
Not hard to see where the endurance issues are going to come from. 2 out of the first 3 attacks are cones, and still 2 more aoe's in the set. Damage looks pretty good, and then you've got all the -Res procs you can slot in various powers. -
Yeah, Titan Weapons is great so far. It absolutely wrecks face.
But it may be the most un-Stalkery feeling set I've played. -
Energy or Dark, both with stealth options are worth consideration for when you just don't want to bother with that defeat all.
MA/Fire was my third 50, shortly before MA and Fire got buffed (go me), but was surprisingly sturdy and the damage output of FA on its own is phenomenal. The lack of taunt in BA can be annoying at times.
Electricity would be similar to Fire, but with a little extra recharge for chaining MA together, but with a little less damage.
WP, SR, and Inv are boring, but solid. Shield, is pretty much the same but with SC for some oomph.
While anything will work, for the style you've described I would go with Regen. Regen is a solid option, my second 50 was an MA/Regen. None of regen's issues are issues at lower difficulties, and played well it's very tough. It doesn't have the extreme durability of an Inv or WP, or the offence of Fire/Dark/Elec, it doesn't lose anything, or pay extra for anything, at a lower difficulty against fewer, softer mobs. -
I'm still torn between Inv and WP for my TW tank. On the one hand, Inv fits his concept better, but on the other hand, I just finished an Inv tank and am currently running another and an Inv brute, so some variety might be nice.

Didn't really keep up with the thread, but I did finish my novel a few minutes ago. I know at least one person over on Unleashed finished today as well.
So, anyone else manage it this year? -
I will be on time. My teacher didn't want to be there 'til 5 any more than we did, so she cancelled class.
-
I will be late this Thursday. Some genius decided to change my class schedule to have class right up until our start time.

I would like to congratulate the Devs for releasing powersets focused on negative damage and fears in conjunction with introducing an entire end-game zone filled with enemies who will heavily resist negative damage and fears.
That's a special kind of sadism right there.
Bravo Devs, bravo. You're my new heroes. -
A bit of a wtf vibe near the end there. Then I read the description of the video and what he was trying to capture and it made sense.
Still weird, but made sense. -
Quote:For an MMO I never heard of, I find the idea of 65million registered accounts to be interresting.Quote:
when I told one journalist this they said are you really saying that one in every hundred people on the planet is registered to play Dark Orbit? -
Oblit's are terrible for end reduction, just a heads up.
Electrifying Fences, which I guess to be a set mule, is going to screw with Ice Patch due to -KB.
Take Fiery Embrace.
I don't have time to look at much, but there does look to be room for improvement. Hopefully a Fire/ expert will be along shortly. -
2.5 second cast with Haymaker damage and 80' range. I love Hurl.

My biggest issue with the Sophia plot, is that she wasn't really that much of a developed character to start with, so no one really cares about her. And the whole soap opera plot stew that's going on this season is definitely not helping.
Do something! Go somewhere! -
Saw it, liked it. Definitely better than the new Clash of the Titans (can't comment on the old version as I've never seen it). The fight between Theseus and Hyperion was great. Really enjoyed the visceral 300-style fights.
Would certainly watch a sequel/follow-up to it.
7.5/10 -
I guess we might as well shut it down this week if half the team is going to be missing. See you guys next Thursday. I should be done NaNoWriMo by then and dealing with a lot less stress... for about 10 minutes until finals start up a week and a half later.

Quote:Agreed. People can't even get away playing a third string hero from some anime only sold off the back of an ox cart in three villages in outer Mongolia without someone reporting it (as they should). We like our game, and people that screw with it deal with the GMs.Ever seen a Generic Hero? Players *DO* report these kinds of behaviors to the GMs, and it isn't all that hard for the GMs to have a "three strikes, you're out" policy for this sort of Public Offensiveness.
I have wanted female thugs for awhile, nothing fancy, just a female version of the male pets for my 'character' Hell's Belles (a name I'm going to camp on Virtue until I get female thugs or they shut the servers off).
