  2. Don't lose the link to that site. The ParagonWiki is the best place to look for info.

    /Bind question

Just a minor nitpick here. /bind button4 targetcustomnext "mark III" is actually ignoring the mark part and just using the "III". The command will only use the last target word. For example if you want to just target Madness Mages, /bind button4 targetcustomnext "Madness Mage" will target anything with "mage" in the name, such as Life Mage, Agony Mage, and Death Mage, ignoring the Madness part. You want to use a target word that is unique to your target.

    No, read the page linked.

"Also effective with Issue 14, these recipes have a chance to drop from boss class enemies. "

What were you fighting? Were you exemped to a lower level? Are you Free or Premium without an invention license?

The Karma -KB protection acts like a set bonus. If you exemp more than 3 levels below the level of the IO it will no longer work.
  6. Here's a previous post that should help.

You watch as a series of letters appears magically in front of you. The letters spell out a rather personalized message . 'Iphigenia, this is Doc Quantum contacting you. I believe you may be aware of who I am, considering your own approach to dealing with problems. I appreciate someone who is bold enough to take care of a situation in the most efficient manner. With that said, I offer you an opportunity to, as you would put it, 'bring justice' to Ghost Widow of the Arachnos syndicate. It seems she was overly eager to acquire a special device of mine, and is now in a rather weakened state. Now's your chance to take care of her without any overly emotional heroes chastising you for your choices you make.'

The message ends with the location of where Ghost Widow is supposedly at. This is obviously a trap, but for who? It doesn't matter... someone will be brought to justice by the day's end.

Even though Quantum has crossed the line in the past, it's entirely possible that this is his attempt to atone for his past crimes. Even if this is just some game between fellow Villains, it's best not to look a gift ghost in the mouth.

Finding Ghost Widow unawares is an opportunity you can't pass up. And seeing that no other hero will be getting in the way, you can bring justice to her once and for all.

Sewers-to-Faultline map, Arachnos and Longbow. Ghost Widow spawns up front as a hostage. After releasing her you get a dialog; it turns out you've both been set up by Quantum. She came to pick up a "Possibility Generator" from Quantum, but he's taken over the minds of both her troops and Longbow who came to intercept them. She follows around as a non-combat ally, commenting on the action. After fighting through to Quantum, he becomes untargetable for dialog at about 25%. He tells you he isn't really there, it's just a projection caused by the Generator. He also tells you that the mind control device will take over the minds of thousands of Paragon City citizens...and if you turn it off, it will kill everyone it has already taken over. He then vanishes and the nearby glowie activates. Using it turns off the mind control machine, killing any remaining mobs.

Debriefing: You've saved the citizens of Paragon City at the cost of having to personally be the one to terminate the lives of countless individuals who swore to protect the people. But they knew what they were getting into when they signed on.

As sad as it may be, they died protecting everyone. It's a good thing you were there, or it might have been a much larger death toll.

    influence

See The Market & Inventions forum.

Myself, I run tip missions and random roll the hero merits I get off of them. They net me more per merit than what most people get gross off of the common items, like LotG, Miracles, and such. See Sig for my rolls.
  9. /bind <key> TargetName Mael

That's what I type in when I have that mission. I just go through spamming that key and that will find him.

  14. Sounds good. I pointed the person asking the question to this thread, so hopefully they've got their answer.

    Any suggestions?
When you start, it takes a few seconds before the counter to actually pop up. Make sure and don't kill any during this time, but still run around trying to spawn them.
  16. Here's a question that has popped up on the help channel and I didn't have an answer for them.

If you craft a costume piece, either while VIP or with Invention License, and then drop to premium or the license runs out, do you still keep the costume piece or will it drop off your current costume? And can you change the costume without losing it?

    Incarnate Shift?

Assuming you mean Level Shift and not the Incarnate Shift, since the Incarnate shift only applies in the Incarnate trials, where the enemies are always above your level, no, it doesn't affect rewards.

    From the wiki page:
"While this is equivalent to Combat Level 51 for the purposes of combat, all other aspects of the game that depend on character level are still calculated for level 50. This includes rewards (a level 50 (+1) character fighting level 51 enemies will receive the same Inf as a level 50 character fighting level 51 enemies) and any Sidekicking (a character Sidekicked to a level 50 (+1) character will be Combat Level 49)."

  20. Did you change factions (Villain/Hero) since starting the arc? Or did you drop to premium? Or have seven missions already?

Did you do it as a hero? Or as a villain then switched sides?

For example, this Vigilante character of mine has Arriviste, not Trusting.
