So I started a new toon over double exp weekend and both primary and secondary I have never played before as to why I am going to try it out and was looking for tips as far as it being a decent playable character or a stop now and delete. Btw its a kinetic/energy
-
The question here is the force feedback proc. Does it only work when I cast Mr. Poo to come out and play or does it have a chance to proc every time he hits something. I know that the bonus will come to me (not that i need it) but I was just looking for the 5% flight increase.

Fire/Dark Corr: 37-50
Earth/Fire Dom 45-46
Fire/Cold Corr 1-40
MA/Invuln Scrap 1-20
Fire/Shield Tank 1-20
Kin/Energy Brute 1-20
Not as productive as past 2xxP weekends, going to focus on finishing and IO'ing the fire/cold and forget the fire/dark exists due to insufficient funds damn GFunny builds. -

I know I didn't soft cap my defense but this build isn't meant to tear apart an entire 8 man spawn all by himself, it's more of a team build for running higher end TF's. With i19 coming you can substitute swift, health, and stamina with super speed, super jump and embrace of fire (all 1 slotted). Didn't go for HP bonuses, Hoarfrost is almost perma and when its up I am maxed.

Funny thing is though it adds the end reduction and the recharge reduction rates together, so I guess your right thats its just a Mids bug that needs fixing in 1 way or another.
-
Now, if you want to know what your total defense in a pvp situation would be, just click the pvp button at the top of mids, and it'll show you your stats for that.
I am making this for pve, try frankenslotting 2 sets together say LotG and Red Fortune, the bonuses from each enhancement within the sets add together (Lotg defense = 25.5, RF defense = 25.5 bringing the total enhanced value of the power in question to 49.70). Now try doing the same thing with LotG and and Shield Wall and you get 2 different vales not adding together,
Defense: 25.50%
Defense: 25.50%
The reason I want the pvp set involved is because I like the pve set bonuses within the set and the fact that I have a couple Shield Walls sitting in my base looking for work. -
So I am using mids and attempting to slot weave on my spines/wp. The first 3 slots I use from Shield Wall set and I am placing 3 from LotG, each sets is giving me separate defense numbers and not combining them. I am assuming the Shield Wall portion is the pvp side but is there any way to combine the 2 into one bonus so that I don't over slot?
-
Elec/Fire is the way I went, with the quickness power (elec version eludes me atm) and some moderate recharge Fire Sword Circle, Combustion, and a well positioned Breath of Fire melt away anything thats stands around you. Oh and I use a couple damage procs in the aura. 52's are easy, 53's more of a challenge and havent improved his survivablity (HP, Def, Res) enough to challenge +4+8's yet.
-
Basically what I want to do is take one of my 2 spines/fire, (yes 2 I liked it a lot a couple issues ago) and take it vill side and grab Soul mastery just plug in Shadow Meld to get near softcap defense in just about everything and use the rest of the build to get everything else, rech, HP, end, and +dam. Basically is this a smart move on my part and does anyone have a build so I can take a glance at it?

Numina's Convalescence
(Rise to the Challenge)
* 12% (0.671 HP/sec) Regeneration
* 25.1 HP (1.874%) HitPoints
* 6% Enhancement(Heal)
Correct me if I am wrong but I always understood that the 6% heal in Numina's meant it went towards a healing powers like Healing Flames, Reconstruction, or Heal Other and doesnt do anything for regen based powers. I see 2 powers with this in Mafias build in RttC and Fast Healing, am I missing something with this or was I correct in my thinking and those slots are to just fill out regen within those powers? -
Quote:I usually put very little into these, my recovery is normally pretty good to where I dont have to worry about end reduc or frankenslotting. I normally start with the chance for damage procs in Oblits and Sciroccos then if there is room in the build for slots i go for damage, in Elec/ and Ice/ tanks the end drain powers come back so fast there is little need for end reduc within the build. Besides the best mitigation is if the enemy doesnt have any endurance to fight back withSure Multi Srtikes are fine but if you have good end recovery from things like Miracle's and Numina's plus all your attacks and shields are slotted with 50% to 90% end reduction, it might be worth going 6 slot Oblits in your aura. The difference is only .17 end and you gain 3.5% melee Def, 9% acc and 5% global recharge.
My Fire/Fire has 4 sets of Oblits and 4 shields and I rarely have end issues because I have a recovery of 189% ( 3.47/s ) if I do get into trouble thats what things like consume are for. -
Thank you for the help Llewthor, I have never noticed it before and I am in the combat attributes window all the time checking my attributes while IOing my characters. I have looked in the base section before but I guess I never knew you could click and drag those items, so much for reading the patch notes I guess (if this option was in the notes to begin with)
-
So I am sitting here at work watching a couple videos posted up on youtube and in one of the videos the player who was recording had a sidebar which kept track of his/her in game infulence. I have heard of something like this before but he person I heard this from quit the game due to money issues before I could get a chance to ask how he did it. Is this done by macro, bind or something else im not aware of?

Glad to see your having fun with the build so far, my Spines/DA is my favorite among my high lvls. I am currently seeing many of these builds pop up in the lower lvls only to see them deleted and rerolled as spines/regen becuase once all the toggles come into play people get frustrated with the end issue. Keep the fight and the guide going im inerested to see your results.
