  1. You could always drag Rikti into the goo to help with Hami.

They will attack the mitos and vice versa.

  4. Just wanted to say thanks to the community team for the Nemesis Invasion in Atlas last night.

Was quite fun seeing the banter between Lord Nemesis and the players.

The massive amount of Giant Monster Fake Nemesis was a nice touch too. People were actually defeated!

But as always, Virtue pulled through and in the end we won the day.

Viva Los Bio-Dome! ... err... I mean Virtue!
  5. In general I don't have any issue with this.

I mean, they did revamp Adamaster(sp?)'s rewards. But they also revamped how he was spawned.

The only quirk I would see is the Paladin in KR. While he's been "fixed" many times, there still manages to be a couple of his floating around. 3 Paladins = 30 merits in a few minutes. It's an extreme end of the spectrum type thing, but it could be an issue.

    Either way,

Same here! More so there are plaques throughout the local park and I get the urge to read and touch them.

Fortunately I don't have to worry about Hydra, CoT, Clockwork or various ganging spawning on me

    Sure thing

I've heard that CoH: Collector's Editions pop up in Big Lots from time to time. Sadly there aren't any close to me

The ones I've seen online are usually in the $100 range - and people do buy them.

People have argued that it's okay to sell IOs on the Paragon Market because the money is going to Paragon Studios directly instead of the gold farmers who sell influence.

I don't see why the same argument doesn't apply here.

You can still get the CoV Collector's Edition box on Amazon for around $10. Link

Includes 1 month of Game Time too.

Either way, I wouldn't mind seeing both in the Paragon Market. I mean, they're selling pretty much everything else (costume pieces, IOs, powersets, character services, etc) so why not this?

Anything to bring more money into the game right?

Power Customization was always on their to do list some day. It was players on the forums that twisted what the devs actually said into "it'll never happen" in their responses to the frequent Power Customization request threads.

Some items the devs have actually said would never happen are

Total respecs out of Power sets and AT's
    Open world PvP
Allowing players to send offline SG invites to characters on the same account
I recall someone saying that Power Customization was extremely unlikely to happen. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong.

Still, saying "We'd do it if we have time" is ambiguous in that it could potentially be put on the back burner indefinitely.

My point was that if the players want something bad enough, it doesn't break gameplay and is doable code-wise, we generally get it. (Regardless if they say they can do it or not).

Gee. I wonder why none of the comic book companies have ever tried something like that.

The old JLA/JSA team-ups using the Crisis on Y format were some of my favorites growing up.
I never said it was an original idea

Just because an argument is weak to you doesn't make it a weak argument.

There were many things in this game that we were told would never happen due to time and tech restraints and slowly but surely they have made their way into the game. Power Customization anyone?

And for what it's worth, I can even see a story element to Cross-Server teaming.

A faction of Oroboros realizes that not just the time-stream is being altered in our reality, but other realities as well and has called upon all able heroes and villains to assist in fixing things.

You enter a zone similar to Oro (a loading zone basically) and are able to enter other realities (servers) through portals in that zone. After entering, you're put into a similar zone on the other server from which you can roam free and do whatever.

Hell, you can even use the argument that the Batallion is so strong that you need the might of multiple realities to combat the threat.

On a more selfish note, this would make Hami raiding quite fun for me since they raid on various servers and I could basically attend them all with the same toons

  11. From what I understand the best place to slot it is a fast charging attack that you use often.

On my TW/Fire Brute I have it slotted in the spinning sword attack (name escapes me at the moment) which I constantly spam.
  12. My humble request is hats for Monsterous Heads.

Zombie Fryer would love a costume with a top hat. Or a baseball cap.

    Thank you for the consideration

I'm at work, so I don't have the back/side image. But it's pretty self explanitory. The back has the "ragged wolf tail" with the same fur color and the yellow highlight.

  15. Titan Weapons:

    Oversized candy cane.
    Oversized rusty or regular pipe.

    Staff:

    Long Cardboard Tube
A version of the "Fire and Ice" Fire Sword that Titan Weapons already has

    Well, kinda sorta.

If both players were online, on the same team, they each got full rewards.

If one player was offline, the active player received half xp and the offline player received the other half.

This was particularly nice if you had 2 accounts on double XP weekend. Essentially you could level two characters at regular pace with only one of them being online.
  18. So I recently got my Staff/Energy Aura Brute to 50+1.

Staff is fun to play. The animations are flashy. The utility of the forms is nice.

That said, I do miss having a "Build Up" type power on my Brute. I find myself instinctively pressing my hot key for it as I'm playing.

I'm not a numbers person when it comes to DPA/DPS but it "feels" low to me. It may be that numerically this set in on par with other damage sets, but the speed of the attacks and low upfront damage feels weak to me. I guess I'm just a fan of the big wind up powersets like Titan Weapons, Super Strength and Broadsword.

I think I may make a Staff/Fire Armor Brute and see how that goes. Staff needs to get a weapon similar to Titan Weapon in the Fire&Ice packs.

    Anyways, that's my 2inf.
  19. My personal Top 8 (for the moment at least):

I was also wondering: Will this be available to all melee ATs? The thought of a Stalker with this is amusing to me.

So uh... yea... the group version is way better. And 30 minutes really is nothing when you think about it as far as missions/TFs go.

    Hrm. Another "leak" perhaps?

Either that, or someone got their files mixed up

And for what it's worth, it doesn't surprise me that Level Pacts are going on the Paragon Market. Why it wasn't left in for VIPs and made purchasable for non-VIP is beyond me. (Unless of course it was a tech issue.)
