  1. A pipe dream, but I'd like it to include a toggle that gives you a wand or staff, automatically changing the cast animations of powers whilst granting a small buff to accuracy.

    Psychic Melee

I'd like to see Earth Blast and an Earth Buff/Debuff set so Dominators can finally get the missing Stone Mastery ancillary pool.
  3. I overplayed by Dark/Dark Dom so I grew bored of it. She's joined my other level 33s who have also stalled. I've been in a Gravity mood lately so I've been using my Gravity/Energy and really enjoying it with the changes.
  4. Gravity control isn't that bad now. I feel that the best changes were made to Singularity's powers: Lift's damage was increased by 63% (and also causes Impact), Crush animates 43% faster and Gravity Distortion animates 57% faster. So not only does Singularity do more damage but he is able to better supplement your own controls. Wormhole is also pretty nifty now but sadly it still does knockback, though a lot of the time you can minimise that by throwing them into the ceiling or into corners (which also has the added benefit of ragdolling them in walls). The other changes are ok but nothing special.

    Thorn Assault/?

I chose Ice/Thorns for several reasons:

    1) The name - Icicruel. Thorns are coloured like icicles.
    2) Ice Control doesn't need many powers whilst Thorns is pretty heavy.
    3) I really like Arctic Air + Melee synergy.
    4) I wanted to.

He's only level 16 so far but I'm enjoying it. Then again, I enjoy less optimal combinations.
  6. Interesting. The page is still cached if you're able to figure that out. I'm hoping there's another round of proliferation, maybe not for powersets but at least for animations or ancillary pools - the past issue overview pages don't seem to include power proliferation.
  7. As has been said - that's not a liger.

The only vanity pet I would ever purchase, if it were to be made and released, would be a giraffe.
  8. As long as they're in Half Helmets rather than Helmets, I'm fine. It's been a while since new options were added to that category.
  9. Normal mapped faces are right in the trenches of the uncanny valley. Please please avoid them whenever possible. The faces in this pack look fine - though I doubt I will ever use the male ones because I prefer to make youthful characters.
  10. As a coulrophobe, I personally hope Clown Summoning stays as an April Fools... And never as a Halloween trick.
  11. YouTube has given videos a DVD-style menu.

    NPC Foibles

He's simply developing his silly walk.

Just say it's some nasty aspect of your subconscious or a dream image given the ability to impose itself on the external world.
Personally I've played up to the fact it's a dog:

My Dark/Dark has made a pact with a blood demon through her crown. The dog and the shades are creatures made from blood. The shades are haemogoblins and the dog is a literal bloodhound.

My Dark/Ice, on the other hand, is a mutant who manipulates spirits of the deceased. The shades are simply primal spirits whilst the dog is actually the spirit of his pet dog.
  14. Spiritual is useful if you want to free up a slot on Hasten. Alternatively, keeping three slots on Hasten with Spiritual makes it easier to reach perma-hasten.
  15. That path goes away from the preferable one of least resistance, however.
  16. The main problem with selling the animations is that there's probably no way of locking animations in the power customisation UI. So that relegates it to an issue release as long as there's nothing else to proliferate.
  17. I'd say the same amount as the other ATs available on the market. However, I'd like to think that two new ATs would be made - one hero and one villain. Preferably something to make Summoning and Control sets more widespread.
  18. I see it like this - make a new powerset and those animations are stuck there. Whereas if you make new animations then a lot of existing powersets can take advantage of them. For example, the animations in Street Justice could have been used for Martial Arts as well as individual powers in other melee, manipulation and assault sets.
  19. Isn't it easier to just use Crushing Field on them with Freezing Rain? Dimension Shift prevents you from doing anything else unless you go into the radius yourself, defeating the purpose of phasing.

I did use it to good effect on a team yesterday with a Fire/Fire tank. I placed the Dimension Shift over them with Burn and then I used Wormhole to bounce other enemies into the radius.
  20. Umbra Beast would be better if it didn't make doggy noises and if the dog model was just completely removed, leaving the FX there to make it appear less tangible and more vague as to what it actually is.
  21. Snowzone

    Is it justified?

I'm fine with it. All they need to do now is make a powerset that I actually want - I have no interest in Beam Rifles, Street Justice, Titan Weapons, Staff Fighting and Beast Mastery.
  22. I can't figure out how Dimension Shift can be useful. I will be respeccing out of it at some point and taking the AoE Immob.
  23. There's also the method of travelling into the future one second at a time.
  24. As much as I love Dominators (which is a lot), I'd rather see Kinetic Blast first so Kinetic Assault can be a mix of the two. It'd be lame if Kinetic Assault was basically a carbon copy of Kinetic Melee only to have Kinetic Blast come along with all new powers.
  25. Dominator:

    Lightning Mastery

    Lightning Blast
    Charged Armour
    Ball Lightning
    Energise
    Lightning Storm
