Pressing printscreen puts a screenshot in the "\city of heroes\screenshots" directory. From there, any number of programs can print out the picture, including windows preview.

AE Farms are for xp or tickets only as they don't drop regular stuff. They are not good for badges except the AE badges. They get shut down whenever the GMs find them or the AE Farms are reported. If a GM does find the arc, they will lock that arc slot of the mission creator. They also have the option to ban characters exploiting the AE.
-
I suspect that you'll be able to get that too after Issue 19.

Quote:New/current ways:They also used to have weekly contests where they gave them away for solving word puzzles, a mystery image, and captioning a picture. These are on hiatus for the time being. Between these three giveaways, the mass of giveaways on Twitter, the forums, and Facebook and the ongoing contests, I'm not surprised that they're scaling things back for a bit.

You might have to disable XP at some points.

Quote:There are a few clues that there will be Praetorian flashbacks, and the only Praetorian mission badges are Loyalist (choose loyalist), Resistance (choose resistance), and Moral High Ground (make five moral choices).I don't know if this has already been addressed or not, but will it be possible for primal earth toons to achieve Praetorian mish badges and such? I know that i19 will be opening up Praetoria to us primals, but will there be any sort of flashback, the way a hero can go bad and flashback for vill mish badges?

Quote:Cold would be extremely good. Colds are great for this as they are great debuff and buff.Don't want/need it on anything, but I can help. I'll just see what's needed the day of... (probably bring mah cold)
Also nice that I have more toons on red.
I think I can anticipate most things I need to direct people on at this point so I'll set up my "raid instructions" today.Quote:Really dislike vent, especially when people don't type out directions to people who aren't on it. (I know what to do/too lazy to get on vent sometimes..... but more direction for others would be nice :O)
Just make sure to grab some nukes/shivans. Also get m0ar debuff.... I feel like a failure losing 2/3.
I'll put you in a meat shield spot for now. -
There is at least one in every crowd...
-
Positron & Black Scorpion are aware of that, and I'm looking at setting up another "badge issues" thread.
-
Check the thread in the Going Rogue section:
Denial of Service
Denial of Service has been erratic since it was introduced. My best suggestion is to start from the southern vendor or Tunnel Rat in Nova Praetoria and head directly towards the Sonic Barrier Generator. Do not use super speed or flight. You should not need to get past the barrier to get the badge.
The other popular spot is the "bridge to nowhere" in SW Imperial City. -

Quote:I'll agree with the brain-eater, not you.Your response was amusing. Yes it is minor in the grand scheme of things, but it does not change the fact that it could have been caught and corrected in Beta and should have.
Could it have been found in beta? Maybe. I think you don't realize how bad the copy tool has been. It was down for most of the beta, and new characters would not have 6-7 open arcs. Heck, I doubt that many characters on the live servers have the maximum amount of open arcs open.
Would it have been fixed while in beta? Not likely. As I pointed out to Dumpleberry, the fog of war bug came back and it wasn't fixed. The fog of war bug will affect far more players than having the maximum amount of arc open on the other side.
You haven't got a clue what you are talking about, do you? -
-
Added the remaining Praetorian badge names from outside sources. The badge names likely found from non-sanctioned means.
-
That one was found very early on in beta. However, seeing that it wasn't fixed, it was likely deemed a "low priority". As a player I consider it a major annoyance made worse since it trips on a veteran reward power.

Quote:I should add this to my alignment guide, with your permission.Hero -> Hero 50 merits first time, 1 hero merit each time after
Hero -> Vigilante no merits
Vigilante -> Vigilante 30 merits first time, 60 merits each time after
Vigilante -> Villain no merits
Villain -> Villain 50 merits first time, 1 villain merit each time after
Villain -> Rogue no merits
Rogue -> Rogue 30 merits first time, 60 merits each time after
Rogue -> Hero no merits
If you change from Hero you lose hero merits. If you change from Villain you lose villain merits. -

Quote:Most of the beta testers are the OCD types that hate leaving open arcs. That and it wasn't one of the things that was asked to be tested.Theoretically, yes. Was it thought of in Beta? I don't remember it being brought up. Not to cast aspersions, but most Beta Testers were the type to remember to take care of such things before switching sides.

There is/was an issue with the RWZ arcs preventing other arcs from starting. This has been around since Issue 10 and I don't think it was ever fixed. -
