Quote:Plus, you have to consider this, the CoP Trial is relatively new to the game since its vague introduction back in issue 5.Was 10, is now 100. Improved Energy Beam. Several group members on the same CoP run gets 1 collective credit (per run, not per character).Quote:Now admittedly I don't remember if 100 trials already represents an increase to what it might have been pegged at back when it was introduced years ago. But considering the trial itself never really technically worked properly until now I'm easily willing to disregard that history in this case.

I'm sure I'll be willing to run these outside of the schedule as well.
I'm sure everyone here knows my global and where to find me.
-
Praetorians get/keep the praetorian versions of the badges. They will not get the primal earth versions of those badges.
-
Yes, Vanden, I know. I also know that @Sayaki & @Taryn are willing for these too.
As far as scheduling, how about 7pm pacific this Saturday night for the first scheduled MLRSF attempt.
1. White Succubus (Ill/Emp Controller) @Snow Globe
2. Powerthrust (Inv/SS Tank) @Vanden
3. War Wench (Emp/Psi Defender) @Taryn (probable, not confirmed)
4. -Michael (Ill/Storm Controller) @ Sayaki (probable, not confirmed)

Quote:I can name at least 2: Silver Bullet (raised from 100 to 200), Illusionist (raised from 100, to 200, to 500, and then lowered to 100 again). Also at one point they lowered Isolator to 50, then raised it back to 100.I was actually questioning Beef_Cake's belief that they would actually INCREASE a badge requirement like this in an age where they've virtually gutted the high requirements of many other badges. I'm actually hard pressed to think of a badge in this game which has -ever- had its requirement raised after going live.

I'm perfectly willing to do other types of master runs in "exchange" for these. Heck, I'm willing to help out with regular CoP runs as well in exchange.
My play time seems to be any night after 7pm Pacific. -
Master of the 5th Column Strike Force.
Master of the Lord Recluse Strike Force.
I'd like to form some dedicated teams to get these badges. I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only player that has switched their hero to villains and want these badges. I'm sure that there are some villains that would like these badges too.
Is anyone interested in taking these on? -
Quote:That badge is called Scorpion's Surprise.
...
That progress bar is very broken. Last time I looked at mine, it showed 91/100. It's supposed to only be 5 defeats for the badge, and one more defeat awarded me the badge. I don't know where the number it displays is coming from. lolToo, as in "this badge's progress bar is also broken, just like the other badge."Quote:Pretty sure that's just the "Rikti Plasma Turret" badge, awarded for 5 defeats of Lanaru the Mad in SG mode. -
I'm pretty sure that progress bar is buggy too.

Difference:
- 68-139 Exploration badges = 71 more for villains
- 4-16 History badges = 12 more for villains
- 27-41 Accomplishment badges = 14 more for villains
- 5-9 Achievement badges = 4 more for heroes
- 21-29 Accolade badges = 8 more for villains
- 20-19 Gladiator badges = 1 more for heroes
- 7-6 PVP badges = 1 more for heroes
- 19-25 Defeat badges = 6 more for villains
- 6-6 Day Job badges = equal
- 1-1 Architect Entertainment badge = equal.
653 Badge Villain (Old max was 663, so 10 for leeway)
139 Easy exploration badges
12 History badges
19 Easy accomplishment (mission accomplishments + hess, moonfire, and katie)
8 Side switching accomplishment badges
3 Easy achievements (Hollows, FBZ, 750 badges)
8 Side switching achievements (if you used the bug to get the 7 day badges early you get four more)
13 Explore accolades
9 Switched accolades
1 Going Rogue purchase accolade
1 Safeguard Accolade (Stouthearted)
3 Level gladiators
8 GM Defeats
6 Fairly easy defeat
3 Easy AE badges
That is 880 badges if you used the 7-day badges bug. This is more than possible to do in the last month. A villain should have also had the time to run several of the larger Task Forces netting even more accomplishment, defeats, and gladiator badges to get the extra 20 to get to 900.
Edit:
Badge Hunter has 29 villain ATs with 900 or more badges:

Meh, I hit 900 a week after I got GR. I'm currently at 964.
I have:
3 Achievements (Mayhem Arsons, MLRSF, M5thSF)
9 Accolades (3 Villain Respecs, 5 Day Job Accolades, Bug Hunter)
1 Gladiator (Legacy Chain Lts.)
3 Veteran Rewards
1 Event (Passport)
6 Day Job badges (Villain specific)
23 Badges - 5 unobtainable badges (Bug Hunter, Passport, and I'll always be 3 veteran rewards behind the max) - 3 buggy badges (3 Villain respecs) = 15 left to get before Issue 19... Except that it will take the rest of 2010 to get all the day jobs & day job accolades, so there is only 4 that I can work for in the near future. -
Quote:All hero/blue side contacts will only talk to heroes or vigilantes, and only if they are in a blue side or co-op zone. A vigilante can't talk to hero contacts from a villain/red side zone. Having an open story arc will not affect this.I'm guessing you mean this overrides the behavior that once you start an arc, the Contact will continue to talk to you.

HEAT contacts will only talk to heroes or vigilantes, VEAT contacts will only talk to villains or rogues.

Actually there is one extremely rare instance where a group will be dissolved. Here is what has to happen though:
- Must be the sole member in the group
- Must have an inactive account for at least 90 days.
- Must be under level 5 (or was under level 35 for the first name "releases" and in the last 2-3 years no one has taken that name). Get a level 10+ to invite to group & quit.
- Must have been flagged during a name purge.
- Must have the name taken by another player after the "purge".
Like I said, this would be extremely rare. -
Quote:I would suggest that you read the post rather than trying to assume level...On my 21 Brute on blue side. I actually leveled from 20 to 21 by running radio missions in Talos and am 2 bubbles into level 21. Still have yet to receive a Tip mission, is this a known issue, am I missing something? I have been defeating lvl 20+ mobs in Talos Island and Faultline

Hmm... So you mean that you are making sure that badgers leave the zone by killing them?
-
-
I expect that some of these things will be fixed shortly (remember to bug it!), before Issue 19 (depending on how soon Issue 19 comes out).

Quote:I think I can guess what is happening, but you are not going to like it.This character is a Hero, a DS/Dark MM switched over from Villain at level 24.
List of Active Contacts not in Atlas Park:
Ashwin Lannister
Christine Lansdale (open story arc, no missions open)
Dr. Cheng (open story arc, no missions open)
Kalinda (I'm guessing she's active cause this character just hit 30 and used to be a villain)
Laura Brunetti (open story arc, no missions open)
Lorenz Alsaldo (open mini story arc, no missions open, dunno why he's active, he's been active since I switched to hero)
Lou Pasterelli
Marvin Weintraub (open story arc, no missions open)
Merisel Valenzuela
Peter Stemitz
Phillipa Meraux
Stephanie Peebles (open mini story arc, no missions open)
Tina Chung
Just from what you are saying, your aura mission is available on the red side from Kalinda. I would guess that is it based on the fact that you've already done some of Kalinda's missions.
As far as Lorenz, you started his arc by talking to him and we already know that arcs don't close when you switch over. This is to allow you to go back and take the "abandoned" missions.
