Well, apparently it hates my graphics card. I can't do much without it crashing. Went to do an RSF yesterday, and crashed about 20 times, first 3 maps before I gave up

So, going to run another this Sunday?

Two mothership raids were run in a row last night with an Iron Man Ice Mistral afterwards and an ITF. Lots of merits were earned, a few deaths but a lot of fun was had on the two raids.
Lili had the Iron Man Ice Mistral, which was set to +3, they managed to complete it and had a great time earning XP, debt, inf and merits.
The ITF took an hour and a half, was a lot of debt for some people, but also a lot of fun.

Giant Monster hunt a success, with 3 teams for most of the night, meaning a total of around 18 villians.
Team Lili, Team Snoof and Team Meta, successfully took down Deathsurge, Scrapyard, Caleb, and the Arachnos Flyer in Grandville, before venturing into RV to take on some slightly overpowered hero AV's.

I am not liking this idea, at all.

Effectively, you are splitting an already small community, and alienating certain members.

Australia channel, may not have had a purpose when it was created, but it has gained a purpose. It is a meeting place for Australian's to chat, organize teams and other events. I have met some pretty close friends I team with on a regular basis through the channel, and I think everyone should have the opportunity to have that experience as well.

Not all Australian's are on Justice, so by implementing a second channel, we are essentially reducing the amount of members that are willing to be apart of the Oceanic community, and eliminating players on servers, other than Justice.

We have already had members quit because of this change, and I honestly believe a lot more will quit, or just continue to make being a mod in the channel more difficult, by spamming and doing exactly what you have said not to do in the Australia channel. Most people have already said that is what they will be doing.

The idea of 2 channels, has INCREASED negativity in the channel, and it has already been showing.

The negativity has been in the channel for the last couple of months, and it has made it a negative place for some people, which even I have felt that way at times, but this isn't the right way to solving the negativity which is in the channel.

I personally feel, that having a set of rules/guidelines, would be better suited. That way when mods do act, they can direct the person to the rules/guidelines.

In regards to the insults in channel, I have copped a lot of them, but most of the time, action is taken to ensure it doesn't happen, but at the same time, if I am to silence someone, they just quit the channel and join the channel again, to start with the insulting yet again.

To combat that issue, I believe the channel DOES need to be set to silence on join.

In regards to the topics that come up in conversation, most of the time they are fine, but when they do get out of hand, I am finding that as long as people are told the conversation is inappropriate they drop it.

In regards to offensive topics coming up in chat, personally I have felt offended by another mod on SEVERAL occasions, and even when asked to drop it, they keep going, but most of the general players in the channel, listen when they are asked to drop it, and apart from the occasional drama when asked to drop a conversation, they mostly all do it when asked.

I really feel that two channels are splitting the population and getting rid of a lot of members, which it has already started to do, and I really feel we should just implement rules and guidelines, rather than 2 channels.

The level 5 event will be going on another night, as it ended up not occuring the first night due to not enough interest.
We ended up in Warburg for the first night, for some teamed and some free for all PvP.
This Tuesday will have no PvP event, due to easter and the fact I am away for work for the night.
But the week after we will be having another PvP night

This Tuesday's event will be lowbie PvP, will the level range set to 1-5. It's a good chance to roll up a new toon, level it up and have some fun in the arena!

Starting Tuesday, the 30th of March, PvP nights will be going on, yet again. The events will start at 8:30pm EDT (Whatever time zone Sydney is ), every week.
Participants will be divided into teams on the night. Team sizes and number of teams will be dependent on the amount of people we have online in Australia channel, who are awesome, and game enough to participate.
The level ranges and settings will be changing each week, but they will be posted in this thread before the event.
These matches are to be friendly and fun matches, so I would appreciate it if everyone could refrain from talking smack in the arena, AND in Australia channel. If anyone is found to be talking smack and/or insulting any other players on the night, they will not be allowed to participate for the remainder of the night.

Manticore ended up not running, as Metacore was not online and numbers weren't looking to good.
Instead the first respec was run.

I feel the same way as Lili about the ITF. I prefer to take time on it, as a lot of the time I do team with people who haven't completed it before, or haven't run it many times.
Nothing worse than having people try to rush through, with someone who has no idea what is going on and possibly being turned off doing the SF/TF ever again.

And we already have another SF forming tonight! Looks like it is becoming a lot more active lately
