Well I see two rosters, plus whatever Conviction plans on putting together. I'll put up the official ladder/rules thread deal.

I actually would be really entertained watching people try to race across rv (ideally youd say no stealth or travel powers) while pvpers not participating were doing everything in their power to farm them. It would both increase the challenge level for the people doing the event and satisfy the pvper's desire to farm everything that moves.

Team TP is the real way to pvp in RV.

The only reason I would ideally like to keep it at 8v8 is so there is actually a place for debuff and interruption classes and not just damage and healing.

When I retired back in.... uh I don't even remember which issue I retired the first time, well sometime pre-IOs, I held a costume contest thing in which I gave out 127 HOs. Since at the time influence meant pretty much nothing, it was no small fortune. I would like to think it ranks up there in terms of Freedom prize events, but its really impossible to compare to now where 8 billion influence builds are not uncommon.

I am reapplying for both Silit and myself (he can deal with it) to be Arena PVP reps. Thats right. Arena PVP. Basically we will just run the ladder to be on Freedom and have PVPEC titles while doing so, and probably help out with other stuff too because we are helpful.

Its called Freedom. You can transfer there for free this month.

Though Tox's ladder post is more or less a joke, there are at least 2 relatively stable "rosters" that have been pvping each other. Now that the remnants of dUmb, PE, and a few other sgs are packing their bags for the lolfest that is Freedom, we might as well run a ladder and try to get some free months of play from whatever moderator is supposed to be supporting this "community." Just using the standard mix of i12 ladder and current arena settings, it shouldn't be that bad.

3 10 minute 8v8 matches. Team 1 chooses first map, Team 2 second, 3rd is random.
Small insps only, HD off, TS off, DR on. No cage, no caves.

We might want to cap roster size at 15-20 people (not accounts), but not really necessary.

Not sure how to do the rankings, but we could just use the old 1 spot up on victories system

Other rules to consider are not allowing player/toon swaps after a player joins a match to counter an unexpected lineup ("pulling a Renegades"). The only delay before letting new people play with a lineup should probably be if they just jumped from another group on the ladder, and even then its probably ignorable.

Any ideas are definitely welcomed. Also, I don't mind PVPEC sponsoring and promoting the ladder, so long as we retain organizational control over everything.

I do ever so hope those Justice elite pvpers will transfer over to Freedom and prove to us their quality is better (and no, we won't turn off travel powers for you).

Any and all Fight Club Police policy decisions may only derive from direct mandate as issued from the Board of Directors as per Section 23:4 Subsection C-II. The only exceptions to this rule are once again fleshed out within Subsection D-I through IV as well as Section 46:2 Subsection B-I. As a State of Emergency has not been declared (See: Definitions, page 325) nor has the entirety of the Board of Directors retired without succession discussed, any attempts to initiate rogue operations by an adjunct officer or cadet are in clear violation of 12 different Omega Class Codes.

As I head the Internal Affairs Disciplinary Review Commission, it is my duty to inform Cadet Frost Elf D that she is hereby suspended indefinitely until the Commission decides to allow for reapplication or a successful appeal is made via the Internal Affairs Office of Advocacy. It disturbs me greatly that someone so willing to brandish the honorifics associated with membership would neglect to put in the time to simply read through the Code of Conduct and Fight Club Police Charter.

As always, any possible fight clubbing should be reported to Chief Investigator Silit.
