Blasters do great damage and still build for tons of +rech to use those high damage attacks more often -
Slap a Panacea chance for +hp/+end into Dark Regeneration
It will turn your /Dark Scrapper into a non stop machine. Need end? Use Dark Regen.... Need health? Use Dark Regen.
There is a reason they sell for 400mil, they are that good in a power like Dark Regen -

I sold my last 2 purples for 200M+ last week.
I don't find the set bonuses for purples to be very good bang for the buck, I can generally be more creative and get better returns for a fraction of 200M for build total let alone a set of purples.

A single set of purples doesnt do much just as 1 LoTG rech proc doesnt really give you a lot of return by itself but if you slot a few powers with a few sets of purples then it really starts to add up.
Over all my IOd toons on live, both heroes and villains, I have about 35 sets slotted with a minimum of 5 per power. I aim for a lot of +rech which purples offer a lot of as the 5th bonus. The extra recovery offered by a few are nice too. I dont have a problem with them being expensive either. It makes a finished build seem like more of an accomplishment when you know it isnt something you can just throw together at will unless you earned the inf and took the time to aquire them all which can sometimes take a little while itself -

Strange how many people did not like the farming done in AE. But nothing is being done about people having two or more accounts farming in the PvP zones. Have you tried going to Bloody Bay lately? If thats not ambuse, I don't know what is. Can't even enter zone cause everyone is farming at the entrance. If you really think about it, the game is not fair to new players. Mission tips says you don't have to use the new IO enhancements, but a new player can't compete with a veteran without them. Then a new player can't get the new enhancements cause they can't fight for them in the zones and can't buy them cause they cost too much on the Black Market. Would that make a new player want to contunie playing the game??

Got home last night bought some IOs I had been needing then farmed while LSU and Texas played baseball. I went through 2 full 30 minute duels with no drops. My kill ratio was way down cause the baseball game was really good and I kept getting sidetracked and not attacking.
I only got 3 drops last night total. After I was done I went to WW and managed to snag another 220 million from existing sales. After I bought a 2 Miracle and 2 Numina procs I still had over 1.1 billion influence when my toon only had 21 million Saturday morning
I got screenies now to back it up and can trow em up here now if the need comes up.
If I can manage to keep the influence coming in at this rate I will start holding player events on Triumph to help people out. To start I was thinking of costume contest with 1st place = 50 million, 2nd place = 10 million and 3rd gets 5 million. I should be able to hold 1 each weekend without ever really noticing the loss of influence. Its not like its real money anyways. Since most of my influence will be coming from PvP I will also be looking to do some PvP stuff with influence rewards.
Lets hope my luck with drops stays good -

I can say I have seen a good candidate in a long while -
Problem with that is you put the actual 'marketeers' behind of the Drop Farmers and PvP Farmers because the farmers can start at zero wth odds to work while 'Marketeers' have to use craft-profit which takes time
My PvP farming made me 1 billion plus in 1 lomg morning. With a low set limit on starter cash, farmers for drops will surpass some usinh influence to make a profit -

I kinda was kinda wasnt
I swapped toons around each time so I could see how DR effects them all but I was non stop killing. Jumping from target to target. I did take the time to turn on shields on alts here and there to see the changes but once I started the attack I didnt stop until the target dropped.
Some of my testing was just seeing how fast I could drop a buffed target. I even clicked DP+IH a regen to see if I could overcome it with my Claws/Regen and I did. MY Broad/Regen could not drop my Claws/Regen nearly as quickly -

It isnt boring if you are actually in it to accomplish things other than getting drops. If you read my OP, I was in the arena to look at some numbers and check how DR/Travel Supression/etc effects my toons. The IOs were a side effect. I was running test to see if my procs were working correctly or if they were even worth having in some builds.
I had no clue that my Regen Scrapper gets his regen lowered by travel supression, did you? During my combat monitoring I noticed my regen dropping by a few points when I attack or get attacked. Check the Combat Monitor and it shows my regen getting supressed by Travel Suppression. That is news to me.
If you have the patience and time to waste reading a post but not the time to absorb and understand the content it is providing to you....
You also have my sympathy -
I would love to see a bunch of people hit the PvP zones in hopes to get some drops. It would bring some life into a dying PvP community

You consider a drop rate of 15 IOs out of 1400+ kills high?
Thats 1 drop per 95ish kills
Edit: A decrease in drop rate would lead to an increase in cost just so ya know. Not saying I at all want it to happen as I see the drop rate rather low as an incentive to PvP -
Lately my global list have been a little empty. When no one is on I always end up in the arena running test and checling numbers and such. Sometimes I load 2 accounts sometimes 3. Well this weekend I started early Saturday morning doing just that and like last weekend I got a few PvP drops.
This time I decided to see how many I could get so I kept going right back in the arena as soon as I was done. I was getting anywhere from 95-105 kills per 30 minutes when I had 3 accounts running and around 55-60 with just 2. I did this non stop from 6am to 1pm. End result was 15 PvP IOs. Two of which were the Panacea +hp/+end which got 400 mil each. I had 2 Panacea triples for 120 mil each. A few others went for 20 mil and one for 60 mil.
So by the middle of the day Saturday I ended up making 1,120,000,000 influence and still have over 650 mil still in ww up for sale. I am now addicted to PvP IO drops and the inf they make me. So if you are someone on my global and see me in the arena you better catch me when in between matches because making 1 billion plus a day is something I can get used too
