Quote:I don't have access to the names of the demon pets (not in Beta), but if I had that, I could whip that up easily. The keybind file depends on the class of pet, the name of pet, and that's it. If you have that, it's easy.Has anyone seen or done up a demon keybind like they had for the other MM pets? I tried to change one of the ones that is out there but it failed big time.
When GR comes out, I could make one if no one else beats me to it. -
When playing a mastermind, I don't care about who my teammates are. I *am* a team. You can tag along if you want.

If I have room for a rez power, I take it. If I don't, I don't and I don't worry about it. Any power that requires your team to die is of limited value to me, especially when combining insps to make awakens/bounce backs is so very easy to do.

Your Honor, my client denies ever getting giggity with the plantiff's trademarks. Further, we would like to state that the plantiff's claims of my client kickin' it old school on the down low with the plantiff's intellectual property are completely without merit.

Quote:Hulu was what got me into Dragon Age, and their ad wasn't even particularly compelling on first blush.Hulu, Hulu, Hulu.
Advertising there has got to better on both price and demographic.
Let Samuriko help with the ads.
I cannot recall the last time one of the geeks or gamers I know told me abouth anything they watched that was not a movie or on Hulu.
Did I mention Hulu?
I have to agree, Hulu would be a great venue. -
Quote:Tackiness? As contrasted to the billboards advertising for the Happy Corpse Mortuary Overflow Services?Wouldn't there be concerns of tackiness if you started seeing Billboards advertising shampoo?
I believe the original plan was to make it an optional feature to turn on or off. As long as it's opt-in, I don't see a problem. -
I have two playlists I use in games.
The first is my Industrial Playlist which has bands like Rottersand, VNV Nation, Funker Vogt, Birmingham 6, Flesh Field, Ego Likeness, Die Krupps, Skold, Cruciform Injection, Cubanate, Chemlab, God Module, Bile, etc. Even some Rob Zombie and White Zombie remixes.
The second is my Metal playlist: Alice in Chains, Danzig, (old school) Megadeth, Testament, THERION, Armored Saint, Halford, Judas Priest, Heretic, Grim Reaper, Witchkiller, etc -
I can currently run CoH maxed out on just an Nvidia 8800GT with zero lag (I plan to upgrade for Ultra Mode!)

Quote:/signed.Actually, for me it WAS that distracting... and it did impede me from understanding it. I am the type of guy who reads what is written... then stops to mentally fix the errors, than continues. This is a long process if someone doesn't know how to spell or use correct grammar. Apparently others also think that we should have some sort of unified, agreed upon, grammar system...

I've been playing since 2006. I don't use mids nor do I do FotM builds (at least, not that I know... I don't pay attention). I've never once been booted off a team for any reason, much less for what build I have.
The closest thing that happened to me was I got a tell asking me if I was interested in an ITF. I said "maybe, as long as I can bring a friend" (was running duo with the wife). They then started asking me a bunch of questions about my powers, my build, and "what can you bring to the team" like it was a job interview. I told them to just forget it.
That's my one and only brush with build-snobbery in the past four years. -

Or drag a lower window tab upwards, which also works.

Quote:I feel the same way about my Axe/WP brute.Have to agree with you there. I mean, I love the look and feel of my BS/SD scrapper. Diving into a pile of zombies and Whirling Sword/Slice taking out 3/4 of the pack in under five seconds is a beautiful thing, but if Brutes ever get Broadswords, I may never roll a scrapper again.
Quote:That said, as far as actual content I still prefer CoV's ability to keep content mostly self-contained to the zone the contact is in rather than going from Atlas Park to Crey's Folly to Perez over the course of three missions -
Quote:If it's a locally saved file (an unpublished arc), you can delete it locally. While NOT logged into the game, go to C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\Missions and delete the file you don't want. Then, log in to the Mission Architect and turn the auto-save in the editor off. It won't come back.So... it is possible to delete that file and not let it come back... but how do I tell i it is an MA slot and how do I get rid of it? (Type it in a way that I can understand this time.)
If it's a server-side file and you can't delete it, send an in-game petition for technical assistance. There's a support choice in the Options menu. -

Quote:What's the STOP error code?OK. Tried taking it to Tech Guys at PC World - sadly, the guy on the desk today was (as we say round here) less use than a wet fart in a thunderstorm.
I've tried patching in the VAIO-specific NVIDIA drivers from the VAIO support site using their specified procedure. So far all that's done is cause a STOP error during loading. -

Quote:Whats the peak temp of your GPU while playing those other games?Sorry I knew there was something I forgot on that last post. I have a ATI Radeon 3850 Pro 512MB card. I run COH on 1600x1050 with everything maxed out. Have done ever since I got the card. I play other newer games like TF2, Borderlands and @*cough*apb*cough* (you didn't hear me say that!) All completely maxed out and none have ever made this problem occur.

Quote:The GPU will feel hot to the touch, certainly. That's not a good gauge for anything. 102 shouldn't be shutting the system down.It happens when I am playing CoH (it's happened 3 times this afternoon only when playing CoH) and never any other time. I can be happily playing away and suddenly the display goes blank and the computer has turned itself off. It's not a restart or anything, it's a hard power off. You can turn it straight back on again no problem.
When this happened earlier I took a look inside the case, the CPU cooler (general area) didn't feel too hot. The GPU I could feel it was quite hot. It cooled itself down after a few minutes, but the fan works fine so I don't really get why its doing it.
I am not sure if Radeon has something like NVIDIA's Nfuse, but if so, download it and have it run a stress test against your video card. Some burn-in testing software also has this capability. See if you can get the system to fail and under what conditions.
You can also try turning off thermal shutdown in your BIOS, if that's supported. It's usually in the Advanced Power options. If you turn that off, and it still shuts down, then you've got another issue. You'll want to run Speedfan or another monitor to warn you if your system temp or GPU temp approaches the normal shutdown threshold for your model, however, and then shut down manually, so be careful when trying this and keep an eye on the temp. -
Yep I asked this too.
Quote:As far as "it doesn't do it with other games", that's not really a valid argument. CoH stresses a system, and especially the graphics card, far more than any other game I've seen.
