Also fact - The servers are down other than a regular sheduled maintenance. They have remained down well over the stated time and there's no word of when they might be back or what's going on.

Yes... it happens... But I also see why some people are slightly annoyed. They pay full price subs too.

I'm trying to get into the game after the downtime and I can log in ok, but when I click on a server it sends me back to the login screen??

Goodbye to my global after all these years. I can't say it's any shock at all that it's the Europeans forced to choose a new name. Oh well.

I've got multiple CoX accounts in Europe and one on the North American servers and a while back I accidentally added time to my North American account - I realised straight away and within minutes I asked customer support nicely if they would refund it so I could put the money on my EU account instead. I didn't expect them to do it since it was my own fault but I was pleasantly surprised that they refunded it, no questions asked.

The only problem is they took the liberty of being a bit hamfisted and banning that account... I assume so I couldn't be a ditz and do it again. This didn't bother me so much at the time but I now want to play that account. I had agreed to join a few friends over the last few days as we all had time off so I sent a request a few days ago through support explaining that I never asked for the ban, and I hadn't actually done anything worthy of a ban and could they pretty please undo it. They sent me a request for a truckload of details, my name, DOB, serial codes, account names, card numbers etc etc.. I sent a reply as soon as I saw it and got told the ticket was being escalated to a senior CS rep. I'm still waiting... This has been going on for days now and I don't understand what's taking so long, it should be a simple matter!

I paid for the account, I haven't done anything wrong other than make a polite request to CS to refund some paid time - I should be allowed to use it, after all, I'm trying to add paid time to the account and give NC more money!

Does account support work over the weekends? I'm guessing I can't expect a reply until monday or tuesday now - great.

Or you could do what I do.... and just buy more slots

I know you're traps but I just remembered that anyone with devices can also use the Cloaking device as a layer of stealth.

I may be wrong, but I don't believe you can lay mines while using the invisibility pool power. You will need stealth + a stealth IO or Superspeed since these don't supress your ability to use powers that may affect other players. Invisibility granted by someone else should also work.

Make a fire/kin controller - tell her to take repel and keep it on ALL the time...

Was only on for a little while this afternoon but I saw no end of GMs and sig heroes running about the joint in cap. Made the mistake of taunting GR for harder stuff and promptly had the whole Freedom Phalanx dumped on poor Slitty's head.

I'd be surprised if they don't use Pocket D. Because of the time difference I'd guess Avatea + Devs probably wont be on until late afternoon / early evening EU time. GR might pop in a little earlier than that.

Yeah it's a busy sg so unfortunately inactives are cleared regularly to make room. Many of my characters don't get used very often so I'll only put them in the sg temporarily for things like task forces. People are always welcome back.
