This is the issue I have with the name police too. Any joker who feels like it can just send a petition on you and instead of actually looking into the matter themselves, the GMs usually just generic the name regardless.

So many names that are not violations get reported, and lumped into the generic pile without review, and its up to the person owning the character to jump through hoops to get the name reinstated.

Its kind of like being accused of a crime you did not commit, but you still have to go through years of the court system to prove your innocence. Guilt seems to be assumed in these cases based on one players word over another.

Same thing applies in this case of MA reporting of farms. some people just love to play police.

This is why snitches get stitches.

I would never build a blaster without stamina. You may say you have never run out of end with unslotted stamina at 43, but then I may say you must be doing it wrong.

Concepts are cool, but damn do they wreck a build.

Yep. dont be shy. Chew chew chew that tray of candies. Any AoE character with a good pace of killing will do once you have a few purples and reds in your belly.

The damage is so good now I think most people are slotting it for dam/rech over heal to use it as a touch up heal as part of the attack chain, basically giving you a set % of health/min plus keeping your DPS chain.

Its almost like a regen mechanic when used this way, instead of being something you only use when your health is low.

Yeah. this kind of stuff is why the Aspergers posts came about. There were a lot of parallels drawn to how Twixt was acting compared to someone with Asperger's syndrome.

Some of the evidence was very compelling showing that Twixt does indeed have some serious mental lapses if not a actual mental condition of some sort.

Scary that this guy is a P.H.D. and even scarier that a university is footing the bills for this "research". From everything I have read/witnessed I can only say that I still believe this guy has some mental issues.

I actually joined my first SG through the email system.

The sg leader was teamed with me a few times and asked if id like to join, then said she would send specifics via email. I got the email shortly thereafter, and it outlined all the group rules and expectations, and was a great way to communicate.

This simply would not be possible nowdays, because I have to mass dump all my emails on login (sometimes over 50 emails!) so i would never receive any legit emails, since it is simply not feasible for me to scan through each one before deletion. I have not received a legitimate email in YEARS. The last legitimate email I received was pre- invention system, when there was no incentive for spammers to send emails about PL/money laundering services.

Until a friends only filter is installed or something, i expect the email system to simply remain a chore to complete on each login of removing the spam so the little red button goes grey.

I am on board with /signing any feature upgrade that either A) removes the email system completely , or B) fixes the email system so that there is a filter only allowing global friends to send emails to my inbox.

They are making it WAY too easy on the spammers.

Yep. Its always worth it to /Bug this yourself in game. The more reports the higher the priority to fix it.

Sure makes crafting a pain when you are trying to craft from bought stacks of 10 and dont have the recipe space to hold them in your inventory to see the salvage tooltips.

The best part is once you log off for 42 days and get the badges required for the accolades, you need to log off for a FURTHER 15 or so days to "charge" up the accolade reward power.

This does not start adding up once the accolade is aquired either, you actually have to log in and back out to start the timer on the actual accolade power, so if you leave your character logged out for 35+ days in a location thinking that you will get your day job badge, then credit towards the accolade power as well for the additional 15 days on top of the badge credit, you will be sorely disappointed.

Some of the day job accolades wouldnt be half bad if the time required to obtain them was in some way equivalent to the time they last. As it stands you spend 15 days NOT playing your favorite toon to build up 15 minutes of in game recharge bonus or somesuch... somehow it just doesnt feel worth it at all to me.

That said I do get the ally heal and rez ones and any of the other charge based accolades, because at least they are of some use, and dont run out while you are standing in wents.

Good guide on how to get them, now if only we can get them to be useful for the most part...
