Ok so I have an OC that I would like to make into a hero. But my question is this: If I make the character into a hero, does that make NCsoft own the character? Will i be punished if some day along the line I publish something based on the character? This is all hypothetical, but I was just wondering. I hope this isnt a stupid question xD.

Edit: Okay, I made this kinda-anime style Rough Sketch (Do I make anything besides rough sketches?... Apparently not) of a character that I made up. I plan on writing some stories about her too, so I guess that that makes her an original character? Well, anyway, I think that I might be getting a bit better at heads (even though hers is a little bit mishapen) but the body is totally screwed up, her arms are really thin, and her hair is really jagged. I hand-drew this, if that matters, and it would be really great if you guys could help me. Thanks!

Is it ok to ask about non-COH related art here? As in to ask questions about art I try to make that is not COH related? Its fine if its not ok, I was just wondering...Also, sorry if this is a stupid question, which it very well might be.

Well, as for the piece... The Rose Bandit is a complete snob, so as long as she looks and acts like one that works. I like Sailboat's idea, and it sounds nice and dramatic. Rose is more self-centered and bratty than evil though, if that matters. As for the thugs in ice or not, that is, of course, the artist's call, since....The Rose Bandit doesn't care very much about anyone other than herself...but not in a cruel way XD... She's a very RPG or Anime-ish kinda villain. Funny-ish! But mean... er yeah...xD

Okay here goes nothin....

Isabelle Rosenqueen cares about only one thing in life: money, and lots of it. And, lucky for her, she's always had as much as she wanted....(okay, not as much as she wanted, but that's not possible...). Daughter of a rich mob boss, her "Daddy" has always given her whatever she wanted. I mean, c'mon, all she has to do is snap her fingers and BAM!!! Plasma screen T.V.... WITH SURROUND SOUND!!! However, recently some annoying heroes have been trying to mess with Isabelle's fathers business dealings. (As if they're not PERFECTLY LEGITIMATE!!!) Seeing that she might lose even one dollar due to efforts of these "poor, pathetic, horribly dressed fiends," Isabelle has taken the name "The Rose Bandit," hired a group of thugs to do the "poor people" stuff, and set out to defeat the forces of Poverty...(not Poverty itself, mind you, but those stinky color-clashing heroes that fight for Justice....and, truth be told, don't exactly make a pretty penny for it. Poverty is a good thing; it gives the rich people to make fun of!)

I decided to go for a funnier bio for this...Dunno why... XD.

And as for any extra stuff... A hairband, (not a headband) and various snobby jewelery, like earrings, rings, (but not too many, that would be simply GAUDY) and the like.

I have to say, cool idea! It was pretty fun to write too.

If you have time I'd really like you to draw Rose Bandit, if you want to try practicing on her. Shes not very much like the other characters you draw though...(She's a Snobby Rich Brat...) The way you can capture emotion is amazing!
