  1. You can in fact move the CoH folder from your C drive to your J drive. Just be aware you will need to redirect your shortcuts and or your NcLauncher to it as well.
  2. I know that we had talked yesterday about R and I trying to make it early tonight for practice Smalls, but it appears real life conspires against us again. Hopefully we can make it for the matches though even if we do we will likely be late.
  3. It's Trivial! is entering a brief Off-Season while the format and game/show dates are reworked. Please be patient during this down-time. We hope to be back ASAP with plenty of prizes, cash and brain teasers!
  4. Sadly it seems that real life is conspiring against R-Tech and I making it tonight. Hopefully we don't miss MP's PvP Coup... or was that supposed to be secret?
  5. The Player Event Resource Committee would like to thank all of our 57 participants in Memory Lane! We had such a wonderful time reading all of the entries. 6. Tonight's contestants were in no particular order:

    Name The Untruth
    Jean-Guy Federalist
    Kumquats

Kumquats came off to an early lead with Jean-Guy lagging behind a bit in the first round... but with some strategic use of the NerfBats, and some great answers at the last minute, NtU finished with 30 million, Kumquats had 60 million and Jean-Guy pulled ahead to finish the final round racking up a grand total of 280 million influence!

We gave away 3 crafted LotG +recharge IOs at level 35, as well as a couple HamiOs including a synthetic Enzyme Exposure!

All in all, audience members and contestants walked away with near or slightly over a billion influence in prizes!

We hope to see you all next week for more fun, trivia and prizes!
  7. Just want to direct everyone's attention to sections 2,3 and 4 in the game rules... it is now easier to win money with no penalties to your score EVER!
  8. The Player Event Resource Committee would like to thank all those who participated in "Memory Lane." We will do our best to get the winners announced in a timely fashion, and we thank you in advance for your patience as there are many entries to read and score! We had a wonderful time designing this contest and watching so many different styles of entries pop up. We hope you enjoyed this contest!

If you have any ideas for future contests, events, etc. please do not hesitate to contact a PERC Representative.
  9. Tonight's Contestants were:

    Karsa Orlon:
    Star Empath:
    Chironex:

We got off to a great start with Everyone on the board in the first round! An IT First!

Star quickly pulled ahead however and managed to make it to the final round. Karsa and Chiron both walked away with 50 million inf in their pockets and Star left 270 million influence richer!

A great show and great fun!
  10. This order has been filled. Thank you!
  11. And now I'm hungry.

Update on -KB Recipes: Currently have 30+ steadfast and 25+ Karma. I did have a few BotZ but they are gone now.
  12. *digs toe in dirt while looking at the ground and speaking in a tiny voice* Thank you sir...
  13. Hey all, just wanted to throw this out there, I know some folks are short on cash for their builds, and I happen to have a (growing) stock of about 20 each, Karma and Steadfast knockback protections. They are uncrafted but can save you several million influence over simply trying to buy them on the market.

Just send me a message in game (@ska-core), and let me know how many of each you need for your build. They are going free to good PVP homes. First come first serve!
  14. Had an absolutely amazing run our first night out!

Our three contestants for the evening were:

    Illusionist Bic
    Demacian
    Taxibot Belle

Unfortunately Illusionist seemed to DC early on but the show MUST go on... Demacian and Belle fought tooth and servo through two rounds with an early Nerf Bat play by Demacian absolutely devastating Belle's score... Belle returned the favor in round two only to be thwarted when Demacian got it right.

They finished round two tied at 55 million influence each and thus started "Sudden Debt" one question for each at 5 million inf a question, no penalty for wrong answers...

They fought it out in Sudden Debt for nearly an HOUR raising both of their scores to 95 million influence! After an hour the offer was made to go double or nothing, or walk away with their 95 million. In going double or nothing they were allowed to team up on the same question... and they stormed it.

Each of them left tonight with 190 million influence!

It was quite simply the most amazing display of competetive trivia I have seen in a LONG time. Amazing job and congratulations to both Taxibot Belle and Demacian!

Between their earnings and tonight's random prizes for the audience.... people walked away to the tune of around 450 million influence, and it happens again NEXT WEEK! Make sure you're there!
  15. Trivia included in the game can consist of anything from Lore to Mechanics to History or Mathematics and Physics. The more obscure a question or topic the more money it will be worth.
  16. Just want to throw out a quick shout out to everyone who participated, donated and bid tonight. Thanks to every one of you! We couldn't have done this without you all!

Special thanks to the folks from Paragon Broadcasting and the continued support of Taxibot Belle and all the Taxibots.

That being said, tonight we were able to bolster the Infinity PERC bank by over 14 billion influence! In addition we gave away nearly 3 billion in cash prizes as well as over 5 billion worth of enhancements!

More exact numbers will be coming soon for those interested, but we had a terrific time with our terrific community!

Thank you all and here's looking at an amazing year of Events and Fun!

    Game Rules & Additional Info

1.) 3 contestants will be picked at random from the audience to participate in the day's game.
Contestants will be given the chance to introduce themselves. There may be shows that consist of 3 previous First Place winners. These will be announced at the least one week in advance after contacting said winners and verifying that they will be available.

2.) The game shall consist of 3 rounds of approximately 10 minutes each.
2a.) Round one: All questions shall be worth 5, 10 or 15 million Inf.
2b.) Round two: All questions shall be worth 10, 15 or 20 million Inf..
2c.) Round three: Only the player with the highest Inf Value earned in the previous two rounds may participate in round three. The host will ask a series of 10 questions. All questions will be worth 30 million Inf!
2d.) There will be no penalty for a wrong answer in any round!

3.) All contestants will be required to "Buzz In" in the Request Channel to answer.
This is most easily accomplished by making sure chat is set to go to request (By clicking the small r button above the chat input area) and hitting their "Ready" key (usually f7) on the keyboard. Custom "Ready" messages may be used but anything inappropriate may result in a request to change said message or disqualification. In the event that a player shouts an answer without buzzing in, the answer will be ignored and time will still be given for the other players to buzz in and answer. A player shall have 30 seconds to answer after buzzing in. Once any player has buzzed in only their answer will be counted for the question. If they answer incorrectly a new question will be asked.

4.) Each player is given 1 (one) NerfBat at the beginning of the game.
This can be used at any time by buzzing in and saying they wish to use their NerfBat. The NerfBat FORCES any other player (of the NerfBat player's choice) to answer the question that has just been asked. A reasonable amount of time will be given based on the difficulty of the question (Usually 30 to 45 seconds). In the event the player chosen is unable to answer the question, the person playing the NerfBat gains the value of the question. If however the player IS able to answer they gain twice the value of the question.

5.) The game shall take place in Request chat.
The audience is asked to please keep chatter to Broadcast or Local chat and please refrain from answering questions.

6.) At the end of the game all contestants will be given their winnings.
There will also be special prizes given to lucky audience members chosen at random. The prizes are awarded (also at random) during the course of the game so it pays to watch the whole show!

7.) Inappropriate language or unsportsmanlike conduct will be grounds for disqualification.
Disqualified players will not be paid or allowed to participate in future games.

So, if you're smart, or you just want a chance to earn some cash come on down and try your hand at the newest and craziest way to win some Inf. Just remember that no matter how much you walk away with...

    IT'S TRIVIAL!

  19. P.E.R.C. Presents: Memory Lane
    April 16th - 30th
    What:
Every character has a defining moment in their career; maybe they stopped a powerful Archvillain in their tracks, saved their team from immenient peril, or perhaps they are that cackling villain who constantly stymies the heroes. Do you have such a story to tell? We want to read about it!

P.E.R.C. is looking for stories that show off what you consider your favorite character's crowning achievement. What made that character stand out to you? What daring plan did you pull off (or thwart)? Here's your chance to share the tale and potentially win a prize for your creativity!

    When:
Entries will be accepted from April 16th until April 30th.

    Prizes:
Ten stories from the top 20 we pick will be randomly selected and awarded a prize. In addition to that, 5 qualifying stories will be picked by the judges and awarded a "Judge's Favorite" prize.

We will only accept the first story submitted by a player. You may edit and update the story as you see fit until the deadline of April 30th.

    2) Your story must be between 150 and 600 words long.
While Flash Fiction is an artform in and of itself, this is a short story contest. The maximum length helps keep entries manageable from a judging standpoint.

    3) You may attach a screen shot of your character.
This is optional, but encouraged. As they say, "a picture is worth a thousand words." You may insert the image in your post, or you can e-mail it to us at PERC.COH@GMail.com.

    4) Please submit your story in a reply to this post.

    5) Prizes will be awarded on North American servers.
The group funding this event is limited to NA servers, and due to current global e-mail restrictions we are only able to award prizes to players also on NA accounts.

If you have any questions about event rules/details, please feel free to contact a P.E.R.C. representative by replying to this thread or sending them a private message.

    Good luck, and happy writing!

Level of PvP experience: Low-Moderate (Did some basic zone PvP until shortly after Issue 13)
Access to Ventrilo and/or mic: Yes and yes
Ability to meet at 9pm est on Fridays: Yes
  21. I had a blast too! As far as what is coming next week, I thought it might be fun to find a weapon or two that the Council is buying from Offworld. Just enough to advance the plot (but not too much). Give our intrepid heroes enough proof that he's there somewhere... but not necessarily give them any clues as to where the villain is.

    An arms demonstration perhaps?
  22. I'm totally down too. We've spoken in game but let me throw my hat in the ring officially by saying that I have a DM/SR scrapper in that range (quickly rising) that I would be more than happy to join up with. Any day of the week/evening is good for me!
  23. Since I have not received any more bids since Saturday, I am going to go ahead and give the SG to the current high bidder who will be contacted in game.

Thanks to those who had an interest, and to those who brought entertainment XD.
