  1. It is the lvl you add those extra slots. The 2 (3)'s means at lvl3 he adds the 2 available slots into that power. The 2 (5)'s are added when he got to lvl5.

    And if you would read a bit more instead of yelling around.. you would know the current state of I7.

    If you party with a /sonic and /fire (thermal?) corrupter and they both buff you their resists, you basicly have the resistance of a stone brute

  6. poison has a hold with decent recharge, sleep (acid bomb or such) and minor aoe hold from the lvl38 henchman power.
    Combine with a hold of your .. (CoV epic ) hold power and you can hold bosses

    Also i believe 1 of the powers has -slow, but deals no damage.

    I wonder.. does bridger even play himself? The name 'bridger' is taken as character name, but i've never seen him.. (only a GM once, as police drone ...)

    Elec 99% sure will be resistance based, looking at all the epic-elec armors currently. Imho its gonna be a pot-of-soup of currently elec powers, 2 end-drainers and as maybe only new 1 the aoe teleport power.

    So who will be first elec/elec brute to hit 50?

    Epic powersets

    i second that. Having 3res/3recharge (was that possible anyway, totaly forgot) is 'dah way'. Since ED you have too many slots to use anyway, those 3 wont realy make that difference.

    I'm still running my char pre-ED, only flipped a few end-reds and recharges in some powers, just doing fine. I do wonder, since powerboost 'boosts' all secondairy, will it boost the end-regen also of FoN?
  12. oh and you forgot the slotting of powers, quite important for most powers. My stoney has the whole earth-epic set, great for agro control (the aoe sleep power gives great agro). Same for swift, imho slot it with 3 runspeed SO's is a very good thing, once GA/rooted and you're near to unmovable.
  13. Minor feedback, you rather had made a difference between pre-granite and post-granite builds. The difference (and its respec) is realy big, making choice of powers strongly different.

    And rooted has a major advantage.. the 100% base health regen boost.

    My Rock/SS build

    agree with most points (leaping pool is kinda no good). I took the flight pool, extra attack and easy traveling with extra support from the teleport pool.

    Rock armor i never took, only stone skin. Using rooted/health was enough to solo missions that were easy, all other cases i was going into Granite. As long you wont fight +2/3 carnie/clockwork king there isnt realy much use going minerals, with only rooted and some purple's i did it just fine. Maybe with the new defence system in I7, it might be a better choice to take, but during my lvl'ing-time it wasnt.

    Fighting pool became a bit obsolete now, but with tough you cap out the s/l resist again due GA-ED.

    Recently i've been testing my GA without hasten, since the downtime of hasten in GA is already pretty long. Most powers need 3 recharge SO's to go around, but with enough attacks you can go around pretty good. Downside, 6slots is just too few to slot them recharge, acc, damage and endreds.
  17. I'm doing /stone atk, without a teaming nonstop it can be pretty hard to even hit 38. Low lvl you can go most of the s/l based missions (mook/family), i'm few bars away from the magic 16 for rooted

    Maybe then, together with rage (am ss/stone) it becomes a better pve brute... so far not realy.

    But yeah, rage rules big time despite the 10 seconds downtime once the power is over (many forget about that).

    (and i think u mean recharge, not end-reds).
  19. why on earth i need powers as MM? i got my happy pets doing most of the work, maybe 1 hold power to stack my /poison hold for the bosses.

    Besides that, i cant find a single one that 'suits' my /poison style.. Nope, very dissapointing..
  20. i just like fly badly, thats most reason why most of my toons flying around. I had the spots to take the attacks, the few times i run in non-GA i can stay alive just perfectly. Once i go vs +2/+3 or even +bosses i already jump into GA, with Rage my output damage still is decent.

  22. Some powers are stupid copies of exsisting powers (that oae knockback is the storm knockback power) and some have serious annoying animation/sounds (aoe debuff, with a werewolf sound). That is from blaster-view talking though. What i see, the base damage seems a bit lower then the other sets, compensated by the resist debuffs it can do. Yet with /kin i think you can boost your damage back to normal 'blaster' strenght.
    The stats of sonic/ can be easily found in most of the coh-builders around.

    I was having doubt to take either /fire or /sonic for my ice/xx corrupter, /sonic has some pretty cool powers (great resist debuffs, good shields and a aoe/self shield 9% base resist).
  23. Rooted only has -slow and -fly/jump, no -recharge.

    I was also wondering that about CJ, i never had leaping pool but so far i know, nothing can be run together (toggle that is) with GA that involves boosting jump/sprint/fly.

    Once you go Perma GA, taking stone skin is dah way to go. If you got a slot free, you can get the rock armor to solo missions outside GA. (at start you have to choose between SS or RA).

    it seems a bit 'tank-o-bility' related. Stone armor overal can take a huge ammount of damage, so will take taunt easier to get his fury up (Specialy with the -recharge -speed in GA) and popout high damage. I think second to stone invul could have it also.
    The less 'tankers' are more enhanced scrappers who just cant take that much ammount of damage. They can run around easier to get their aggro from aoe's and single target slapping.

    I'm making a copy of my SS/Stone in CoV atm, eventualy he will get taunt too
  25. Yesterday i had a interview for a newspaper about mmorpg's, where i also showed some ingame examples. As i went to Atlas park, i was talking about the 'family-feeling' in certain Supergroups, the interviewer wasnt realy convinced.

    There i just saw Femme fatals taking a few SG-shots at the little lake nearby Mr. Atlas himself. The interviewer was totaly convinced about the CoH-family-feeling

    So thank you Femme Fatales for giving the perfect example, making my interview a succes
